Rosati Windows

Went well. The Salesman Steve was on time, friendly, and gave a very good presentation. Did a great job answering all of our questions and explaining the benefits of Rosati as a Company and the quality of the windows they make. Steve represented his company very well. My Wife and I had a very difficult time deciding what Company to buy from, but ultimately went with a different company. It was like a coin flip for us deciding which company to go with.

Overall, not well. I work as a customer service professional and what I kept on seeing from them was a lack of customer service. The sales person came out and explained what they had. I told him what I wanted and signed the contract. After that, this is where all the issues came. I was told that someone would be contacting me about scheduling a time to come out. It might have been a week or two later and I received a call. "Can we schedule the people to come out tomorrow?" I told him no. I work during the day, is there any time at night? No there is not. I told him I was busy. It was the response that surprised me. He said that he is very busy too and that he works many hours. I told him I would schedule a day, but I have to work it out with my work. I am able to work from home so I can be there. After that, I contacted the company and told them that their people are more interested in scheduling than me the customer. I heard from Mike Rosati and he explained that they are very busy and sometimes people are a little relaxed in the customer service as they should be. I understood it, but it made me wonder if this was just a one-time issue or not? I was contacted 15 minutes after the person was supposed to be at the appointment and he said he would be around 30 minutes late. I usually expect a call way before a meeting and not fifteen minutes late. I was told I would be contacted about scheduling another appointment where they do the replacement in a couple months because they are custom made.. A couple months later in August, I am contacted about an appointment, I hear a call asking to schedule the appointment. "Can we schedule this with you tomorrow?' Again, I had to work on the schedule. We scheduled this appointment. On the day of this appointment, they call me and tell me they just got into the shop at 9 a.m. and they would be at my place at 10:30. They do not show up until 10:45 (late). They tell me they brought the wrong color. They explained there was a mix up in the paperwork. I told them to get me the correct color. I do not get any follow-up call. No apology, so on the Friday before Labor Day, I am able to get out of work early. I drive over and give them two books on Customer Service because they need to read them again. I am also told there is a rush on my Windows and they should be ready in a couple weeks. During Labor Day week, I get a call from Mike Rosati. He mentions on how they have such a good reputation with Customer Service. I think a reputation can be lost as well. It is almost like they are resting on their Laurels and it appears that it is systemic in the company starting from the top. I cannot believe that I was the only case that has had such poor customer service? He reminds me that they have a rush order on my order. I have been inconvenienced and delayed, and I got a week apology from what I could hear. I would have been more acceptable of the idea if he had even offered any discount. You really know when someone is apologetic when they are giving up money because of the issues we have had. I do not get a follow-up call after two weeks when they said they would be out. I hear nothing for about a month. Then I get a call. "Can we schedule this for tomorrow?" Of course he tries to sell it by saying something like, "Well, I have another team that is our second team, but I am am trying to send you our best team out tomorrow." It does not matter what team comes out for tomorrow, because I am busy tomorrow. So we setup a new time with a different crew. I am able to work from home. Finally, I get the team to show up on time, I told them I am working in one area of the home and I will have my lunch at 1 p.m., it is separate from the rest of the home. They showed up in the room at 1 p.m. I had my lunch and they took care of this last window. At the end of my lunch, they told me they would be done soon. This was the best part of the whole experience with them. I wrote the final check and they left. The place was clean. I did not see any cigarettes outside on the ground. It was a great crew. So I called the next couple days after and talked to Rosati Windows to see if there was going to be anyone following up with me about this because with all the issues I have had, I want to be able to talk to someone if there are issues. I was told someone would follow-up with me in the next couple weeks. I still have not heard anything and it has been more than a couple weeks. Rosati Windows might have a good sales crew and a service crew, but they lack customer service. Maybe they are understaffed and need more people to help with customer service. I think they rest on their Laurels and if they keep this up, they will loose their reputation. If you want customer service, I suggest you go elsewhere. I am not sure when they finally came out, but I think it was 10/9/2017.

Still waiting. I got a price put down a deposit and another person came out before installation to measure and told me they could due one window because of rot . This was not a problem when I purchased the windows.

They were wonderful. I hope I never have to, but I would use them again.

They would be our preferred window repair/replacement and that kind of thing. We used their service about 10-12 years ago at the old house. They are an "A" company, no doubt. They are really super. They are a local company. They have been here, I think the guy said about two decades now. I know that there are probably cheaper windows but you get what you pay for sometimes.

The initial discussion of my needs, review of the work to be done, and quoting of a price for the entire job went smoothly. The Rosati representative arrived at the scheduled time, was professional in his demeanor and approach to his work, was extremely competent and informative about the entire process, the work product to be provided, and about what I could expect from Rosati after the work was completed. The individual who provided the quotation measured all of the windows and the sliding doors during the initial visit; and his measurements were verified by another person who remeasured the windows and doors approximately one week later. Although the manufacturing process took longer than was originally estimated, which required my rescheduling other work that I had planned to accomplish after the installation of the windows, the finished product was outstanding and the removal of old windows and installation of new windows and doors either met or exceeded my expectations as pertains to craftsmanship, quality of product and labor, and the professionalism of the installation crew. Because of the delay in manufacturing, I had the occasion of talking to Rosati Windows three additional times after contracting the work. The representatives I talked with regarding the delays were extremely courteous and apologetic. In this regard, I was not overly upset with the delays because they involved return and remanufacture of a particularly large window that did not meet specifications; and the quality of the product was of greater importance to me than the specific time of installation. Nevertheless, I have made note of the delays in this review. Due to the number of windows to be replaced and inclement weather, the work was completed over a period of three days. However, I must admit; I thought the project would take longer. My family and I were entirely satisfied with the work performed and the product provided and look forward to enjoying the final product for years to come. The high quality of the windows' construction and design makes our home look like it has been newly constructed.

It was 15 window's plus a sliding glass door.

It was a pleasure to do business with Rosati from our initial contact at their open house to the final inspection. Every person we had contact with was very friendly and professional. We feel we got a high quality product and a reasonable price.

It went very well. its a good company and they had good customer service. It was a small issue with one of the windows and they came back and replaced it right away. I would recommend them.

Rosati Windows have a solid reputation and so we selected them, purchasing their top of the line energy star windows. However; they are very popular and it took quite a while for the windows to be installed after we signed the contract. They were installed in winter and I know it was freezing, but some details were skipped and had to be corrected later on different occasions. My biggest complaint is that the top window falls down and then you have to fix it with a pushing technique in order to lock the window. I discovered this design "problem" on most of the installed windows now that spring is here. The service technician said that it is their number one service call. The thing is, sometimes I have a hard time doing it. I hope in the future I won't have to leave the windows locked year round. It kind of defeats the purpose. I will say that all of their staff were professional, though, and they do have a quality assurance person who comes around after the install to make sure that things are all right.

They come out and measure, and then they make every sliding glass door. They do doors and everything. We actually did multiple estimates from different companies, and price wise they were pretty much in the ballpark with other companies. I think my wife went on Angie's List and did the research all by herself in the beginning. We are only talking $200 or $300 difference and really the decision was because of everything we had heard about the quality of their service, no high pressure sales, constant follow up to make sure the job is done right and any issues. You get what you pay for. Their punctuality was fine and my only additional comment is that obviously as far as the whole scheduling of doing it is obviously all depended on the weather and everything. As far as getting here when they said they were getting here once they notified us no issue whatsoever.

Perfect! Price was comparable with other A rated providers. But their warranty was longer and they manufacture their own product. So, one warranty for both the door and the installation.

First, we can't tell just how good Rosati windows are compared to others: we're not engineers, we don't have appropriate instruments, and so on. And we can't say who long they will last -- come back in ten years and let's see how they are doing. What we can comment on is the service and subjective results. The salesperson was helpful and thorough in a no-pressure way, took rough measurements, and gave us an estimate, along with an honest estimate of lead time. After we ordered the windows, an installer came by as promised to check the measurements. The windows actually were finished a bit earlier than promised. The installers did what appeared to be a good job and cleaned things up amazingly well. The windows certainly look great and seem to operate very smoothly. Interestingly, the biggest difference between the old (single pane) and new windows is not the energy efficiency -- although that improved and we eliminated some drafty feel -- but the noise level: sounds from outside are greatly reduced. There was one glitch: the installers cracked one of the window panes during installation. (It wasn't really their fault; the fit was very difficult and the glass cracked as they wiggled the window into a tight spot. No big deal: they ordered a replacement (only the window itself needed to be replaced, not the frame); in a few weeks, it showed up and they popped it into place in no time. It's nice to know that if a window is broken, replacing it is pretty easy! All in all, a good experience and we are quite satisfied; recommended.

The representative was professional, friendly, and responsive. However, Rosati had stopped doing total sunrooms. He did measure its windows and doors and gave me an estitmate. I did call about exterior doors about 4 months later. Spoke to same representative over phone and got ballpark figure pleasantly. The doors they had were of superior quality than I needed so I elected to keep looking. I would still recommend them highly for Rosati is not pushy and they are pleasant to confer with and their products are great. Will look at them again when I need window replacements.

We had problems with latches and hinges from a couple of months after installation. Stone Facade required tuck pointing after installation which we had to pay for, in addition to paying for leak testing. Door rubbed so bad we couldn't use it for several weeks in first 6 months. Rosati then had the nerve to charge us to have the door reseated.

Sales and estimate process was simple and straightforward with an in-home estimate and visit to the showroom to finalize product selection. Price was very reasonable. We added the conversion of one window to a garden window, which did increase the overall cost. Rosati's measurement specialist incorrectly measured one of the windows which resulted an additional scheduled visit and delay in project completion. This could have been easily avoided since Rosati took measurements twice during the process. Window quality and style are good, but the screens are a gray tint which dims the view from inside the house compared to the black screens on our previous windows. This is not something we thought of during the buying process. The garden window turned out to be the best feature by brightening up our kitchen with the increase in natural light. The original installation of the wood trim around the garden window resulted in two pieces of split wood around the nail holes. During the final inspection, Rosati agreed to replace these two trim pieces, although in hindsight the fit and finish looked better after the initial installation than after removing and replacing them with new wood during a later visit. The field staff were professional and generally easy to communicate with. The overall process required more in-home visits and overall time due to the mis-measurement of one window and trim replacement. A total of ten windows were replaced. Entire process from order to completion took four months, longer than what was initially anticipated, but overall results are good and we would consider using Rosati again in the future.

Excellent job, they are fast and pay very close attention to the details. A week later sent another person out for a final inspection. We immediately noticed a difference on how much cooler the house was not needing to set the air as low as we had.

The service was excellent. Very pleased with the professionalism of the installers, who in my opinion, went above and beyond call of duty. The windows we had were 30 years old and original to the house. When they took them out, there was a bee's nest in the wall. My wife is very allergic to pesticides and they simply got rid of the hives with a no pesticide method. The windows ended up looking great and we are having the rest of our windows done now because we really like the job they did.
