Rosati Windows

The experience with Rosati was EXCELLENT! From initial visit from Steve Carpenter through the install and follow-up visit; all of it was perfect! Steve's visit was a pure delight--no hard sale, but great comprehensive explanations--the price was just as I expected (in fact, great value for the high quality of the windows). As I was the first condo in my plan to replace my original windows, I required information for approval from the homeowner's association board--Steve was willing and able to provide any and all info needed. With that approval (took about 1.5 weeks), the order was placed with the windows ready for install within 3 weeks. There were 3 installers who did a fabulous job; very hard working; left the house in perfect condition after double checking all installations, both inside and out. Installers reviewed with me how to use the windows. I was impressed how hard the installers worked--they had 10 windows and 2 half-round windows to replace and completed the work in about 6 hours. About a week after install another great Rosati employee came out (pre-set appointment) to review the install, answer any questions and again review window use. DO use Rosati! No DON'Ts related to this company--I would use them again in a heartbeat!

They offered a high quality product for the price. The salesperson was straightforward and nice. If we had any problems, they took care of it right away.

From start to finish we were provided plans and pricing that we could negotiate to fit our budget without any loss of quality or creativity. The work was performed on time and were on site for only a few days. Their preparation - measuring, etc. and giving us good information about what to expect - was on the mark. We appreciated the whole experience and felt rewarded with the final renovation.

We requested two quotes: one for replacement windows including a bay and a sliding glass door and the other for a screened in porch. These were conducted by two separate individuals. We never did receive a quote or layout information regarding the screened in porch and when we informed the individual that we selected another vendor for the windows, his response was "why in the world would you go with them". I found this to be totally inappropriate.

Rosati had installed windows in the lower level of my house a few years ago to take advantage of the income tax credit. I called Rosati in mid September of this year to get a quote on putting in the windows in the upper level of my house. I talked with the sales representative and met with Jeff on September 28th. He had pulled the previous quote and went over the area with me and found that the old quote for the upper level did not include two windows in the master bedroom. He refigured the estimate which was significantly more per window than the lower level was a few years ago. I agreed to the estimate and they installed the windows in November. Today a representative came over to inspect the installation, go over the operation of the windows, and ask if I had any questions. He did find some silicone on one of the windows that was most likely from the installation and he removed it. He showed me how to operate the windows, asked if I had any questions, and let me know that I could call the company if I did. While the price has increased, the windows still look and work terrific. Thanks Rosati for a job well done.

Stopped in the Rosati factory to check out their exterior and storm doors, along with what they could do regarding replacing siding on the entire house. Was interested in their products. Had a saleman come out to the house to scope out my jobs however, the process of putting a quote together for the siding took way too long (2 months) and by that time, I needed to address having the doors replaced and decided to have another company do just the door installations whose price was better than the Rosati price; plus I never did receive a hard copy of a quote for the siding job only a dollar figure over the phone which was disappointing.

Excellent overall experience. I went ot the Showroom first where they were very knowledgeable and helpful. I picked out the door, next someone came out to measure and the order was placed. They made an appt. to replace the door and did a great job.

Overall, the experience was positive all the way. Our sales rep, Brent, invited us to the showroom where we could see exactly what we'd be purchasing. I'm glad he did this. The door is beautiful! We looked at other 48-inch French Doors that were cheaper but none of them come close to the quality we got with this door.

The project began in August 2009 and took 3+ weeks to complete. This was a very long time - but the job was huge...cutting out the windows and sliding glass doors...redoing the entire siding for that room, matching the siding from the rest of the house was also a minor feat, which they nailed. The two-person construction team came daily for anywhere from 2-3 hours to 6+ hours...nailing and hammering, taking the room down to the studs. they re-insulated the roof, added drywall, insulated all the walls and around the windows. this room that had been leaking cold air in, really no longer does. The build happened 1 month before the birth of our first child, so we were a little concerned if it wasn't finished on time. Thankfully, they somehow managed to finish the entire project in early September. They cleaned up their entire mess and ultimately did a great job. There was finally a simple-to-work sliding glass door, with screens (Which is damaged, Rosati has promised to replace or re-screen if necessary - a nice reassurance!), and we have a room with beautiful dual-pane windows, nice trimming/edging, quarter-round on the floors. The ugly roof/ceiling was replaced and is more than an improvement from what was there before. It took us awhile, but we finally painted that room eventually and it really pops (way better than the white primer left on by them). One annoyance was that it was a little annoying to listen to overly loud Fox News channel news talk shows while they were working...i preferred the days the workers blared classic rock. The installers were very helpful, showing us what they were doing and if they were ever late or weren't coming, they'd let me know. I appreciated that. My wife and I were and still are, really pleased with the Rosati products. Unlike our earlier windows, which were replaced, these actually do not ever feel cold. they keep the heat in and the cold out. At the time, this was the most expensive update to the house since we moved in and we were worried that if it wasn't right, we'd have major issues. The sales team and installation team all did a very good job. plus, someone from management came to visit the house after the install to follow up and make sure we were happy. that was a really nice touch!

They were here when they said they would be. They got the job done quickly. They have a showroom that you can go and see all of their products.

We recently bought a front door from Rosati Windows. We were pleased with the variety of doors and features they had available and when we went to their showroom it made all the difference. We actually picked a different door there than we picked in the catalogue because we could see how it looked "in person." The absolute best part of the process was the installation. Our installers, Hank and Zach, arrived within the time frame specified. I was completely impressed with their professionalism and most of all their attention to detail and focus on doing everything just right. They spent several hours installing the door and replacing our existing storm door. They wouldn't stop until every single detail was exactly right. When they were about to leave Hank noticed there were a few places he wanted to touch up so he stopped, touched up the spots and made sure everything was done completely before they left including the clean up. Our sales rep, Brent, also stopped by and spent some time to make sure everything was right during the installation. I find this kind of service to be rare. If you're in the market for doors we found Rosati to provide a very high quality product with expert installation. While their prices aren't the lowest I believe their products and service are worth every penny we paid. I highly recomment this company.

Sales--easy and good Installation--exactly as promised!

Everything went very well and I was truly impresses; they did an excellent job. They did such a fine job caulking the windows, I wanted them to caulk the rest of the windows in my house!

We contacted Rosati Windows for a free estimate and they were there within one day. We had gotten several estimates and Rosati's was competitive and the quality of the door was very good. We were pleasantly surprised when they called to say the door was ready to be installed much sooner than expected. The men who installed the door were on time, pleasant and knowledgable. They did a great job! When the screen didn't seem to fit the way they thought it should, one gentlemen went back to the company to get another while the other stayed and made sure the installation area was cleaned up. We are very happy with the new door and it really improved the curb appeal of our home.

On the date provided to us, Scott Ryan, Rosati Home Improvement came to our home and conducted a walkthrough/job rewview of the remodeling we wanted. We went throught he 3 bathrooms, hallways, and main floor discussing the bathroom remodeling and the floor throughout the house. All seemed well and Scott ensured us he would get back to us within a week with a couple variation job estimates. The following week we did not hear from anything and I then called Scott at Rosati's. Scott advised me he had most of it completed and will have his job supervisor review the estimates and get back to me by the end of the 2d week. This did not happen either. I then called on the following Monday, and Scott told me he had emailed the information. We then spent a number fo days trying to figure out why the email never arrived with possible filter/virus protection software issues. after 4 weeks fo trying to get the information Scott tells me over the phone that he will stop by the house and go over everything in person. That evening as I waited at the house I noticed a late afternoon message on my cellphone with Scott advising me he had a hospital emergency. I contacted Scott the following week and he tells me his wife has been diagnosed with cancer, but he would be over that week. This did not happen either..no phone call...no message...nothing. At this point I was very irritated and wanted an answer to the problem. I called Rosati and Scott avoided my calls for a number of days. When I did reach someone it was always a song and dance with excuses. The entire episode was so unprofessional and inconsiderate business practice I decided that even though Rosati did a "GREAT" job on all the windows and doors at my house a couple years previous I would not have anything to do with their Home Improvement department. Any Sales Representative that does not have the courtesy to return calls, or even tell you they do not want to do the work (for whatever reason) should find work elsewhere.

Rosati beat their estimate as far as turnaround time. They finished the job quickly and we are delighted with the new door. They cleaned up the mess and disposed of the old door. The experience could not have been better. I have already recommended them to a neighbor who is looking for new windows.

From the moment we met "Butch" I knew I would use Rosati. However, I did my due diligence and had other estimates. Rosati was pricier than others, but their customer service was/is TOP NOTCH and that goes a long way for me. Butch was so approachable and likeable. He never tried to upsell us anything. He loves the product and it shows. He followed up with us several times over the months between the estimate and us finding financing. Butch understood our desire to keep the look of our older home and talked us through the options. Jalousie windows have a very unique look to them and there is nothing on the market today that even comes close, but he showed us some options that worked for us. Once we got approved things moved quickly. They measured the windows twice, two different guys, to make sure everything was accurate. I loved this! I loved knowing these windows were made right here in Columbus. About two weeks later we got the call that the windows were ready and they wanted to install. This process was amazing. We had a four man crew in our house from 8 am till 8 pm. It was a long day for them but the were determined to install in one day. They were efficient. We were in and out all day and I never observed any laziness. They worked like mad ALL day. They apologized frequently for being there late. And they cleaned up all their messes when they were done. They hauled out all the old windows for us as well. I am still getting used to my new windows. They look sooooooo different from my old aluminum ones, but I am excited. I cant wait to see my heating costs this windows. I do not regret for one minute paying a little more for a better quality product and top notch customer service. Love Rosati!!!!!

The scheduling went very well and they were always on time and offered to come ahead of schedule. They did an excellent job removing the old window and installing the new well-designed window. Their workmanship was exceptional.

Salesperson Jeff was fantastic. He discussed all options with us and was careful to make sure we knew exactly what we were getting. Our home is 18 years old and had the original all wood windows that were deteriorating. After we paid the deposit, we were told that a person would be out to measure within 10 days. This was late in happening. The man who came to measure was rude and did not represent the company well. He told us that there were no wooden windows. I became concerned about what we had purchased because I was sure that we were getting the wood inside/vinyl outside windows. I was told that Rosati makes laminate interior windows, but that the laminate is nothing more than "contact paper". I felt this person was becoming aggressive with his attitude toward me and I told him to only speak with my husband.After the measurements had been made, we were told it would be 8-10 weeks for installation, maybe sooner. It was 19 weeks from deposit to installation. We did go visit the showroom after the measurements were taken, and were relieved that the wood/vinyl windows were what we ordered and had made a deposit for. During the 19 week wait, every time we called we were told that the parts were delayed. Then we were called to tell us that there was good new and bad news.The windows were complete, but 4 of them had been made wrong. Then we were told the parts were delayed again. We began to doubt that they would ever be installed. The installers were excellent and we very concerned that we were happy with our windows. They cleaned up and were done in one day. So, the sales and installation experiences were outstanding, the waiting for the completion of the windows and lack of any meaningful communication from Rosati during this period was disappointing. Update: the windows that have actual inside and outside grids are not performing as well as we thought they would. Where the double hung windows meet in the center ( horizontal sash?) cold air is leaking in. This is not happening in the two back of the house double hung windows we had installed that do not have these pane grids. Overall we are satisfied with our windows, we were just hoping for more quality than we got considering the price we paid for each window. I waited thru 2 winters to post this just to be sure of what is going on with the windows. The finish both inside and out has held up well.

The representative offered outstanding customer service. They had quick turn around on the timing for the job. The workmen are professional and cordial. They also offered an outstanding window.

We called Rosati Windows along with 2 other top rated window companies for an estimate on replacement windows. Rosati wasn't the cheapest quoted, but all quotes were within $100 of each other. We liked the professionalism of the Rosati rep and their windows slightly better than the other guy. Being that we're in a condo, we had to go thru an approval process with the association before installation. The rosati rep supplied everything that was needed and we got approval in less than a week. Installation was performed a few weeks later and the installers replaced all 6 windows in around 2.5 hours and cleaned up after themselves. About a week or so after installation, Rosati supervisors came out to inspect the work and to ensure we were completely satisfied... a very nice touch!

The experience was great. The workers were on time and the quality was great. Even my dog liked them. The workers were very kind and even allowed my son to watch them work.

It's a very good metal door. They were excellent, professional and honest. I would rate them overall an A. Pricing may be a little high but I would use them again in the future.
