RIGHT WAY HEATING & COOLING

We were severely overcharged for an A/c capacitor. Tech said capacitor was $365 plus $79 labor. Total cost was $444. A check online and with 2 other HVAC companies revealed almost all capacitors are under $50 and the total should not have been more than $250. Other reviews for this company indicate overcharging. We are retired on fixed incomes and understand inflation, but this was a bit much.

Brendon called ahead of time and asked if it was okay if he came earlier than the window of time they had given. I was happy to say yes and to be asked rather than told! He came promptly, was very courteous, explained what he was doing and made sure I understood. He offered an option to improve our system but said it could be done at any time; there was no pressure to make a decision and do it right then. The system works great and I am highly pleased! We had started with Precision Air under Harold. When he retired Right Way took over his accounts. I had been nervous, because Harold had been so personable and clear on what did/didn't need to be done. I should not have worried - Brendon was every bit as nice and clear as Harold had been. I will be using Right Way from now on!

I use to use them for everything. Anytime I needed work done this was who I would call. Well after sending them all my bussines and referring them to everyone. I was told it's not my problem after a issue with a new install. Let me explain. So I was building out a brand new store in Heath Ohio. I call them for a estimate to install hvac. They come in give me a estimate. The gc and I both think they county will consider this project a existing build. So I hire Rightway for the hvac. Well once Rightway goes to get permits the county says hey we are going to consider this a new build because the space doesn't currently have a bathroom. So now they require drawings. Great. Well the engineer won't accept Rightway way to install the hvac. Okay no big deal. I don't blame them for this. So I now have to get different estimates based on how the engineer wants it done. Okay no problem. Rightway unfortunately came in almost 30 grand more than the competition. That's fine I just have to hire the other company. Well Rightway already did some of the work. So I pay them 100% of that work. And the engineer draws up a way we can still use the system they installed. It was going to be re routed for the warehouse portion of the store. Awesome Right way comes in and finishes the work. They do not test the unit as they won't touch plumbing and this was a gas unit. So I get another company to plumb the unit. Come to find out the condisation pump they installed was two week. As there was about 45 feet of line 12 feet was going straight up. They installed a very basic home pump. So I call Rightway thinking you know mistakes happen no big deal. I thought they would take care of it. Nope I was wrong. Granted this is a brand new unit never used. They told me it wasn't on them and they won't help me out in anyway going forward with this unit. I would not recommend them anymore as they will not stand behind their work. I had to go to home depot spend $300 on a new pump to get this unit working. After spending over 9 grand on this unit. I couldn't belive they wouldn't stand behind the work. Find other companies you will be happy you did.

Right Way did a great job. They were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They repaired our condensate pump for a very reasonable place. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends.

my technician Bill, was very knowledgeable on the workings of my brand of furnace. he did some troubleshooting and got to the problem. he also gave me some good advice for my AC and basement remodel questions. i would highly recommend this company for your heating and cooling issues.

Corey was prompt and professional and took the time to trouble-shoot my problem. He didn’t mind me looking over his shoulder and asking questions. He was able to identify the issue and fix it the same day. I will use this company again in the future!

I had AC replaced in Summer. The work was professionally installed and the unit works as designed. When winter came, the gas furnace did not work as designed. Right Way's technicians worked on the furnace not performing properly and determined the correct fix. The owner personally discussed a solution and the costs with me. I feel that the owner of this company is truly on the customer's side and wants to walk away from a job knowing that their work is the best that can be provided. I would use this company again, in fact, I have purchase a maintenance agreement from Right Way to maintain my system.

It was fine. They were just responsive, on time, and they got it fixed.

It went amazing...the one thing I think the public should know about Bill and his team at Right Way HVAC is this: they are exactly like what you'd expect to find if you picture a company run by a family with a huge heart, incredible skill, and an impeccable sense of integrity. I know Bill named the company based on his driving philosophy; it's either done the RIGHT WAY, or not at all. I'm not able to put into written word what it means to me to have found "my guy for life" for HVAC work...just like a car mechanic or really great pizza...once you find the RIGHT one, you just don't need to look any further!! They were able to find a problem with my furnace which allowed me to get it fixed before breaking in detriment weather. The AC went well and everything was cleared for a cool summer! Both services were timely and detailed. They welcomed showing me what they were doing and with the furnace check, show what was wrong.

I have a warranty agreement for home repairs. As part of that agreement my A/C repair was dispatched to Right Way to service the system. I explained my sense of emergency to have the repair completed. They arrived at my house and did not diagnose the A/C nor did they call the warranty repair company for approval. Even after I argued and pleaded with them to do so. I had to call my warranty provider and explain my situation to them and the warranty company had to call Right-way to explain they there were supposed to call in approval instead of leaving and having to reschedule all over again. After they received the approval. The repairman came back out and diagnosed the issue. He then said that he could not repair because he needed to leave to prepare docs to send approval to company. I explained my entire issue to him and he was supposed to call. He said no one told him and he could repair the AC anyway because he did not have any supplies. So now we are up to three times for the same issue. Additionally, I have to take off work each times and be without AC for 11 days because this company is completely inefficient. Additionally I did not receive the tangible document or email of the diagnostic and they were supposed to email to me right away. I was not given that document either even though I told them I needed it ASAP. The office Manager Rocky has not apologized and does not follow up promptly. I am completely disappointed with the level of service I have received and believe the office is extremely inefficient. Lastly, the company has a BBB logo on their website. According to BBB.org this business is not even rated by the BBB.

The installation of the new heating and air conditioning unit went very well.  The process took about 6 hours; the installer was efficient, neat and answered any questions that I posed.  Rightway has always been "right there" when I needed them.   IO am very happy with their work and the product.  No more heating surprises.

It is not as easy when a warranty company is involved but my interactions with Rightway definitely tells me that this is a company I will use personally in the future.  They figured out what was wrong and were very personable with me, taking the time to answer all of my questions because I admit to being very frustrated with the whole process. I also felt they were very honest, I was at a point where I was thinking perhaps I need to replace my furnace but they advised me that since all the internal components were new, not necessary.  They made me a priority with the third visit and were just so easy to work with.

Upon explaining our needs Rightway, they were able to provide us with service that afternoon. They arrived promptly and addressed our concern to have the wall heater safe and operable. Our technician, Lee, explained the mechanics of the wall heater and the checks that were built into the heater. This reassurance was appreciated. Lee explained that the service call was more diagnostic due to the fact the issue described was not evident from his inspection. His time and explanations were greatly appreciated.

The furnace was blowing cold air only.  After cleaning some parts and installing a new thermostat, the final resolution was a new control panel.  Because the furnace would operate intermittently it took six visits to finally diagnose the problem.  Rocky and Bill were tenacious and persevered in getting the furnace to operate correctly.  Thank goodness they came to the rescue.  Because I recently bought my condo, this repair came under the home warranty available to new homeowners.  Thus no cost to me beyond the home warranty policy.

It all went very well from the first call for service to see if a repair was in order or a new unit needed. Provider Determined unit was beyond repair and made report to the home warranty company and in just a few days returned with a new unit and had it installed and running in no time at all.
