They did a very good job and put in fans, floor drying mats, and dehumidifiers. Their staff was very polite, cooperative, and they got out here the next day. They were very responsive and helpful. I would definitely hire them again and I would recommend them as well.

Tony clearly explained procedure to remove the moisture from my hardwood flooring after a water leak from my refrigerator. Nick came each day on time to check the progress of the drying. From the initial call to the company to the very end of the project, everyone was knowledgeable, courteous and prompt. I would hire them again if needed.

Excellent plus job!!! Owner Tony/Charlie/Kenny, all did a superb job accessing problem areas, correcting them and recommending ways to prevent problem from reoccurring. Each was extremely knowledgeable, professional, polite, patient and most personable; taking care and responsibility as if it was their own home! Once work was completed, home was left as if "no work" had been done and problem solved! I would highly recommend PuroClean for work for myself/others! In addition, I thoroughly enjoyed talking and getting to know them! They made my day!

I have never gone on any site and recommended a company that has done work for me. PuroClean on E. 6th Ave. was absolutely fantastic!! The owner Rick returned my call within 60-minutes, Tony, Project Manager was here with 90-minutes, and provided a quote within an hour. I approved, and Nick was here within 60 minutes to do the clean-up etc. The responsiveness, professionalism, and kindness of these guys is the best. They called and let me know when they would be at my house, and were always prompt. These guys are super busy, and found time to fit me in, and take their time to let me know where the water was coming in, what I needed to do, and took time to answer all of my many questions. PuroClean was recommended to me by my insurance company, and they are the best recommendation I have ever had. A+++++

Everything went great!!! I contacted Roto Rooter at first, but their Representative sounded like a used car salesman so I decided to go with PuroClean , and it was the best decision I could of made. Tony and his crew showed up and did a great job cleaning up the 5 inches of water in the basement , and even hand washing the floor . I would absolutely recommend Puroclean to family and friends should they ever need a cleanup..

Great job-very professional. I had some light water seepage through the wall and thought that I had mold but it turned out just to be efflorescence. However, instead of charging me more they cleaned the entire wall and then painted it with a special coating to prevent that from happening again in the future. They cleaned up after themselves and even made sure to apply a preventative in case there was any questionable areas, which there were not, thankfully.

Put large blowers in basement to dry everything out. Tested and replaced subpump. Checked back in a few weeks to repair and return room to original look / layout.

We had a major leak in the second floor bathroom of our home in Clintonville. The water leaked through the first floor kitchen ceiling, onto the kitchen floor, and then into the basement. We called PuroClean and spoke with Rick Gutridge at about 8:30 that morning and he came to our home at noon that same day. Mr. Gutridge used a special tool that detects moisture in walls and ceilings. Mr. Gutridge found some moisture in one of our walls, but nothing that required his services. We were lucky in that the water had drained rather thoroughly with no permanent damage. Mr. Gutridge told us to keep the fans going for a couple of days and that we did not need his services. It’s so refreshing to find a company that responds so quickly and is willing to give customers an honest assessment of the situation even if that doesn’t include their services. Thank you Mr. Gutridge!

Not well there was very little communication. I was not called directly when there was an issue the crews were calling my friend and expecting him to contact me. To understand I will tell you that this was my father’s house and since he had passed away it was vacant. Our understanding was the bills (electric, water etc.) had been set up to auto pay from a joint account. We did have the power get turned off without knowing and that did cause a snag but it was corrected and should have been back on the next morning. The problem came when the electric was not restored the next day and it actually took a week. A problem I could have dealt with had I known! The problems continue as there was a huge amount of trash left in drive. I had asked a few times if I needed to get a dumpster and I was told they would haul the trash away. It took a few calls to my friend to get this done!!!! I am beyond disappointed with this service. I could have paid my son and his friends $1,000.00 to get the basement cleaned out and trash removal would have been around $250.00 leaving $4,750.00 to rent the equipment need to remove the water. I did try to call the Owner Rick and he could not tell me anything but he was going to have the job lead call me. It has been a week and no call. I am would not recommend this company!!! This was a insurance job that was had a max of $5,000.00 coverage.

I contacted Puroclean when I found a small amount of mold in a closet that was from water damage. Rick Gutridge is so polite, knowledgeable and helpful. I called and talked to him several times for advice on how to handle my situation. He gave me advice on how to clean it up and what products to use. I called him back (again) and asked to schedule an appointment and Rick said he could come out on 12/26. He arrived and looked at the damaged area and said we had a very small amount of mold and that we had already cut it out and now we had to deal with the water damage. He told is how to fix it ourselves and checked out the space and said it was something we could handle ourselves to save money. He didn't charge me anything for all of the calls I made looking for advice or for the visit to my house. He is so kind, helpful and honest. If I am ever in this type of situation again, I will definitely call Rick and Puroclean. Thanks Rick! A++++

Tony was scheduled to come out and inspect the basement so he could tell us what action we needed to take. About 30 minutes before the appointment, Rick called and said Tony couldn't come so he would meet us to do the inspection and make recommendations. Rick showed up right on time and gathered information on the issues and concerns we had. He went into the basement, inspecting with moisture meters and visual inspections. The good news is we don't need mold remediation. Rick suggested some things we should do to keep mold from becoming an issue. He answered all our questions and helped us determine what we needed to throw away and what we could keep. He didn't charge us a fee at all, but gave us great information. My husband and I both were very confident in his recommendations and are glad to have someone to call on if we ever have a mold problem. We'll recommend Rick and PuroClean anytime someone asks if we know of a mold remediation company.

This is a follow up to my earlier review. I was not aware that the estimate included the finished par of the basement. I didn't have any experience with mold or what it would take to correct the problem. I went on the referral of a realtor. The realtor said the PuroClean price was way too high. After having the job completed by The Attic Doctor for the lower estimate I wish I had used PuroClean. The mold has returned in less than a year and I cannot get a response from The attic Doctor. I have gotten another estimate from a different company and it is close to the price that PuroClean gave me to start with. I may have paid more to start with but now I've spent $2,800.00 and it didn't get corrected, so now I'm still going to spend $5,000 more to get it fixed.

In April 2016, we experienced a major water line break in our basement. Unfortunately, the break occurred in one of the walls that make up the finished portion of our basement. After engaging our insurance company and getting the break repaired, we elected to contract with the Westerville franchise of PuroClean to perform the urgently needed remediation. This entailed removing the ruined carpet, as well as all impacted insulation, drywall, and wood baseboards. Of course, it also required an immediate and complete drying of the entire basement floors and walls using their powerful and highly specialized drying equipment. Throughout this remediation phase of the work, it was apparent to both my wife and myself that the PuroClean team was genuinely dedicated to getting the job done quickly, correctly, and thoroughly. This was especially true of their on-site manager, Anthony Talley. Throughout the duration of the remediation process, both Anthony and the franchise owner, Michael Martin, stayed in close communication with my insurance company to ensure that everyone was in complete agreement about the details and cost of the work that was to be done. From my own perspective, I wanted absolutely no miscommunication in that regard, and I was pleased that there was none. Moreover, the friendliness and good nature of the key PuroClean team members helped to make a trying ordeal just that much more tolerable for me. Based on our good experience with PuroClean during the “Remediation” Phase, I elected to contract with PuroClean for the “Rebuild” Phase as well. Once again, I was quite pleased, as the team’s professional skill and attention to detail continued into this phase. The team members were friendly and professional and clearly displayed a willingness to adapt in order to meet my needs as the customer. I would especially like to recognize the fine work that Anthony did in managing the overall job (both the remediation and rebuild phases). While planning, scheduling, and overseeing the team's work on a regular basis, he was instrumental in establishing and maintaining a trusting relationship with myself. In addition, there were excellent contributions made by his experienced assistants (George and Henry), both of whom exhibited strong skills. I was particularly delighted with the excellent job that Anthony and George did while re-staining the baseboards. Finally, I will note that the franchise owner himself (Michael) showed up quite positively to me throughout both phases as the ultimate guarantor of the company’s service quality. In addition, the PuroClean team’s flexibility was clearly exhibited when I encountered a major problem with a separate vendor who was installing our new carpet. The first new carpet installation had been botched by them and a second installation became necessary. All of this was extremely aggravating to my wife and me. While this part of the job was outside the purview of PuroClean, it required that the PuroClean team work patiently with me as we all juggled schedules and awaited the successful completion of the carpet work. My only disappointment, albeit a significant one, occurred at the very end of the Rebuild effort as PuroClean was putting the final touches on the job. A careless accident by one of the team members necessitated some last-minute rework. Fortunately, the problem was resolved, and we have been delighted with the final results of the rebuild work in our finished basement. Some final views …. I assess this PuroClean franchise to be a highly competent organization that is truly dedicated to customer service. Helping customers recover from disasters is the core of their business and it is in this specialty that they truly shine. I highly recommend them for any urgent remediation work involving water damage. With regard to the rebuild work, we observed the same positive traits as had been on display by the team during the remediation work. If their work does not immediately satisfy the customer, they willingly stick with the task until it does. As such, I can also recommend PuroClean for this phase of the work, with a single caveat. Since the intensity of the company’s primary business activity (disaster remediation) is unpredictable -- often driven by the occurrence of weather-related problems – their work load can be boom-or-bust in nature. Thus, the PuroClean team had to juggle their rebuild work on our job with other disaster recovery jobs that they also took on during our rebuild phase. In our case, we did not have a pressing need to quickly get the rebuild work done. Given how happy we were with the team, it was not a problem for us to have some unpredictability in the rebuild schedule.

Tony Moore came out to take a look, he was very efficient and immediately told me I had a leak. He told me to call the plumbers who had just done work in my bathroom. He was very honest with me about the mold and said that the leak was the cause and needed to be accessed by the plumbers. He also advised me to call my home owners insurance to let them know what is going on. He told me to call him if I needed any help, and didn't charge me a dime! What a great company and what nice man! He pinpointed the area of the leak and told me how far up from the floor the water
