"Thanks for the feedback. We follow a standard pricing guideline for insurance related claims. In fact, our estimate was the same dollar amount as the adjuster. I know it may seem like a lot of money but there were four people there for three days of cleaning, and three for additional cleaning. We also cleaned the dryer vent line at no charge(via Dryer Vent Wizard) and replaced a dryer vent cover on the exterior of the home. The home had fire damage in the laundry room due to a dryer fire. Drywall had to be removed from the laundry room and all the first floor contents and structure had to be cleaned as well as the furnace ducts. I appreciate your business. It means a lot."

"When there is a small amount of mold on a concrete block wall (less than 3 sq ft), there is a cleaning agent that can be purchased called Concrobium. We get a lot of calls about a small amount of mold in a corner of a basement that doesn't make sense for us to get involved. However, if there is more mold than that or if there is mold on floor joists, subfloor, drywall, etc., then it should be inspected."

"I am sorry that this customer is unhappy. We tried to address all his issues and concerns while there and thought we had. At the same time, he wanted us to do more work than we agreed to. In some cases, we did extra work at no additional costs. But this customer is incorrect in stating that we did not remove loose material before painting, we did scrape and used a wire brush to remove loose debris. This customer took a hammer and used it to chip away at concrete block blobs which we then cleaned up after him. We were painting concrete block and the edges of the concrete blocks are not perfect. So our lines may have not been straight but we were not painting finished drywall either. We did not have in our bid to use any caulking or compression bonding in cracks, but we did apply that at no additional costs. So to hear a complaint is disturbing. Again, we try to please our customers and are disappointed that this customer is unhappy, however we feel we did more than originally planned. My apologies for not bringing the correct paint initially. The job was scoped several months before we did the work and the technicians doing the painting did not know that special paint was required. We did buy $600 worth of paint for this job which is almost half the cost. I had one person there one day and three techs there another day. I did not make any money on this job. I also bought special hydraulic cement for the cracks which was beyond the estimate. Again, I am disappointed in the remarks of the customer and that we were not able to meet his expectations. Obviously, we try hard to get great reviews, it means a lot to our business. We will try harder going forward."

"This was a big job. It took four people a week working on this to clean it up. In addition, we ran deodorizing equipment longer than was billed for to help deodorize. The remaining odor should be resolved with sealing the wood floors and painting the walls. We will go back for more deodorization if needed. It is a pleasure to work with the Millers!"
