Deck Maintenance
ORIGINALLY, THE DECKS WERE BUILT HORRIBLY AND HAD SPACES BETWEEN THEM. THOUGH MICHAEL PIETERS WAS OUT ON THE JOB, MUCH OF THE WORK WAS DONE BY SOMEONE ELSE. ORIGINALLY, HE HAD SAID HE WOULD BE DOING THE WORK HIMSELF. SOME PARTS OF THE AGREEMENT, SUCH AS THE LENGTH OF THE STEPS, WERE ALSO NOT LIVED UP TO. HIS ORIGINAL BID WAS $1000, AND MR. PIETERS ENDED UP HAVING TO COME OUT AND FIX HIS THE WORK. THOUGH HE ACKNOWLEDGED THAT THE WORK WAS NOT DONE RIGHT, IT WAS QUITE A NUISANCE TO GET HIM BACK OUT ON THE JOB. HE IS VERY PUSHY WITH PAYMENTS WHICH CAN BE VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. PLUS, HE WANTED MORE MONEY.

HE DOESNT ALWAYS SHOW UP WHEN HE SAYS HE WILL, BUT HE USUALLY CALLS AND LET ME KNOW. I THINK THE PRICE WAS FAIR; ITS A VERY LARGE DECK, SECOND STORY DECK, SO THERE ARE A LOT OF STEPS AND RAILING TO COVER.
