Pat came out on Sunday to assess wet carpet in enclosed porch. Very cold day, but he still got his ladder and looked at roof to provide guidance on problem. While here I asked if he could look at sink. After trip to Home Depot we decided best to replace faucet. Returned next day to replace faucet. Very neat, clean very knowledgeable! Will definitely contact again for future service! Thanks!

Pat and his team are extremely professional, courteous, clean, punctual and offer excellent service and value. The quote I received over the phone was what I was charged at the end of the day. They arrived on time, completed each task thoroughly and in a quality manner and cleaned up after themselves. Doug installed the garage door opener on one of the coldest days of the year, and he did it very well without a single complaint of the freezing temperatures. Pat installed two locks on exterior doors and installed a ceiling fan in the master bedroom. I will be calling him again to install another ceiling fan in the family room when the fan is delivered from the supplier. I would HIGHLY recommend HTH to anyone who needs work done around the house.

They were on time and the work was great as usual. The shower walls are uneven making for some erratic spaces for grout but everything looks great. The toilet shut off was almost rusted through so a wall panel had to be removed, everything was put back together and now that I've repainted you can't even tell the wall had come off.

I was getting ready to do some painting and other improvements in the basement of my house built in 1952. While preparing for my project, I realized I needed to change some plumbing and electric. I searched on Angie's List and found Honest and Trustworthy LLC. I had a great conversation with Pat explaining the tasks I needed completed. He gave me a date and time when he could get to my house to perform the work. He showed up on time, gave a me a reasonable estimate, and performed the work needed. Everything was exactly as he laid out for me and I'm very satisfied with the work performed. I can now proceed with finishing my basement project! I plan on using Pat for future home improvement projects I (actually my wife!) have planned.

I wish there was an A+ rating, I was very pleased with this company from first contact. I got an answer to my initial e-mail quickly with an estimate & to schedule the job. Pat & Doug showed up exactly on time & were unflappable as the job got bigger than first thought with the pipes breaking & other minor issues. They constantly cleaned up after themselves & swept & wiped down the floors before they left. I ordered the vanity top at Home Depot & asked them about installation, they gave me a price (higher than these guys by far) & said that was just to hook up the plumbing, I'd have to find someone else to actually switch out the tops first, so it was great to find someone to do the whole job at once.

When I am working, I put 100% focus on my work to make sure it is completed to a client’s complete satisfaction. I had talked to you and told you I had another appointment that was before yours, right down the street from you. I said I would make it to your place around 11am. I called a little before 11:30am to say I was on my way. I said I was sorry that I was running a little late in which you told me you would have to find someone else now. I do hope you found someone to take care of your drywall job. Best of luck in the future"

I didn't think people like Trustworthy existed. Most companies I called just didn't seem interested in a small job like mine. That was not the case with Trustworthy and the owner, Pat. He followed-up within a day of me calling him. I had an estimate within five days and it was well within reason -- about the same amount of the insurance estimate (without me telling him my budget). The work was outstanding, timely, professional and frankly this company is a solid group -- so much so, the people across the street hired Trustworthy after seeing the work they did on my house. I am not overstating it when I say, this is the best group of people who I've ever hired to work on my home. In these difficult economic times it's nice to know people like this are still around. I am not overstating this review! These are good people.

They showed up exactly on time, in the morning, did not take a break for lunch and worked continuously. Also, Pat was able to solve issues on the fly helping me seal up some chimney flashing and a broken vent as well as complete the kitchen and gutter repairs much earlier than anticipated. The price was calculated perfectly fairly and honestly. Very high professionalism and intuition. Pat also noticed where a different contractor had ripped us off on insulation in the attic. Overall I'm very glad we found his ad on Angie's list and were able to get a great handyman work on our house.

We started off just wanting the trim painted but Pat showed me places where boards were rotting and wood needed replaced. We then decided to paint the entire house. Pat then called Sherwin Williams and worked with the salesman there to research and amazingly find information on matching the previous color! Originally they were going to spray the house but because our siding is rough cedar Pat determined the best application would be a brush. Before painting they power washed all of our stone ledges which look great now! We love the results!Great attention to detail!

Pat sent someone over the day after I spoke with him. For the work I outlined, he expected it would take between $550 - $650 including materials.. This was about 30% higher than the contractor we used.

Pat and Doug installed a 36" whole house fan between our upstairs hallway and the attic. They had to cut ceiling joists and frame in the fan, hard wire the fan, and install a wall switch. They exhibited excellent attention to detail--tidy, precise workmanship. The fan works perfectly. I consulted Pat about installing additional attic venting and his opinion was that it wasn't necessary (after explaining why it was unnecessary)--I love the fact that he didn't try to pedal services I apparently didn't need. Pat and Doug were also very pleasant and courteous--a pleasure to have in my home. I was a bit taken aback when I first met Pat--he is much younger than I was expecting--but he clearly knows what he is doing. I highly recommend him.

Pat was out of town when I called but he checked messages and set up an appt for the day he returned. Pat showed up on time, performed all the work. Pat went out and got the supplies he needed including letting me know they were discontinuing my furnace filters and did I want him to grab any extras. He finished all the work and was very agreeable and cleaned up after himself. The next day we could not get the cable to work - called Pat and he was there first thing, tweaked it and we have been fine ever since.

The first time I contacted Pat, he was going on vacation with his family the following week, so he fit us in his schedule. I appreciated that, because I was going to be having some people over the following week and wanted the blinds installed, so it would look nice from the street. He has always come when he said, cleans up after himself, and is very personable. He comes and looks at the job and purchases what he needs, I don't have to do the buying.

Job was completed above and beyond my satisfaction. Job was not rushed, but was completed quickly, and came in under estimate. Handyman(Pat)was good natured and I will certainly use him again for any jobs I have in the future.

He was not as expensive as others I have used and he did good work. I would definitely hire him again. I think he charged about $35 an hour. He is a friend of a friend.
