Great experience! We had a river birch in the front yard with a leg overhanging the house and another part of a limb broken by recent high winds. In the back yard, several limbs of a pear tree were touching power lines that run through the yard. The company contacted us to perform an estimate the same day we called to inquire. The company came out the next day and submitted an estimate to us. They performed the service the day after we accepted their (very reasonable) estimate. They were incredible prompt and responsive. They cleaned up thoroughly and left no trace of their work!

Ron came out within a few days of my call, assessed the area and gave a very fair and competitive bid .i live in a ravine and access to trees is a problem, upon acceptance, Ron worked to have the work done in a time frame that fit my schedule (company coming), called ahead to confirm and arrived promptly. Worker were more fun to watch than cirque du soliel. a lot of previous tree estimates involved (and i felt defaulted ) using a boom truck to get to the trees.,these men were great, roped the trees to others , climbed and cut and lowered the sections..work was done promptly, clean-up was perfect and they were very professional. highly recommend and intend to use in the future.

Excellent! I thought his pricing for what I needed to have done was so much more reasonable in comparison to others that I received. I've already recommended him to one of my co-workers who also needs tree service.

Ron and his crew did an excellent job on pruning the large trees in our landscape. They were curtious and completed all work agreed upon in the estimate. We would call Ohio Tree Care again.

The work went very well. I would use them again and they came as expected. They did what they were supposed to do and I pleased.

He gave me an estimate. We agreed to it. They came the next week and did a nice job. We would use them in the future.

Ron returned my call promptly, and came out within a short time frame to provide estimate. All work was completed within about 2 weeks of my initial call.

We had lost a portion of a tree in our backyard. We called Friday and they came out Saturday morning. They removed the limbs and cleaned up the tree.

The estimate was very clear and was able to see what would happen. They gave me choices on what services I wanted completed (for example, removal of part of the tree, removing the whole tree and the stump, etc). They were on-time, answered questions about what he thought was best, made a request to keep some of the stumps which they honored, cleaned up well, timely service, and price was good. All in all, a very good experience!

I called Ohio Tree Care on a Saturday to request a quote. They have an answering machine, so I left a message. Ron called me back later in the day to see if he could stop by on the way from another job. He came by and within 10 minutes or so gave me an estimate. He was friendly and professional. A little while later I called to book the tree removal (on a Sunday) and left a message with the machine. Monday morning Ron called be back and booked the tree removal for noon on Tuesday. I stopped by on my lunch break and they had just gotten there and was letting the neighbor know that they needed roof access. The job was done by the time I got home. The job was done to my specifications and I am pleased. I will hire Ohio Tree Care again if I have any other tree needs.

I was afraid it would blow over onto a neighbor's home. They were very good, on time, and cleaned up well. Ron seemed to have a good relationship with his assistants. We are very pleased with the work. He was recomended to me by others who were pleased with their work. I checked with Angie's List before I hired him, and it was all positive there as well.

I don't have a contract with this company, but if I need them, I can usually call them and they come right out. The first time I called them was for bugs in my trees. He sprayed for web worms and the second visit was to prune my locust tree. He did a great job and his price is reasonable for the quality of work he provides. I am happy with his service and I will use him again in the future.

Replied to first message. Arrived at scheduled time. Polite and thorough. Quote was the lowest of three ($750) by 30% and 150%.

This is a small business - Ron runs every aspect of the operation. They were on time to the job. They worked steadily and cleaned up the yard afterward. Ron was willing to listen to my suggestions, as well. They were very pleasant to work with and the price was very reasonable. No problems. An excellent job, overall.

I called the company and an answering machine picked up. In the evening a man called when I was not home and left a message saying that "if I didn't already have another company to do the work" he would call back. He never did. I never had another response from the company.

Ron is a true professional - he showed up on time, with a crew of men ready to work! They removed a section of our fence to access the tree which was very close to our home and our neighbors. Ron worked all day and half or a second day to remove a huge maple tree while his guys cleaned up the fallen limbs and assisted as needed. Once the tree was removed, Ron put the grinder to the stump and you would never know there was a tree there! The other tree trimming was done on day 2, it ended up being two full days of work, and they put in long days (8am - 5pm) both days. While taking down the maple, one large limb bouced off the ground knocking over a fence post. Ron was very apollogetic and did what a true professional would - he got on the phone and had a new cedar post installed for us the very next day (at his own expense). I would highly recommend Ohio Tree because they proved to us that they are the kind of people who make things right!! Ron did not ask for any payment until the work was complete, the site was clean and the post was replaced. When they were done, our property looked terrific, they cleaned up all the mess and even took a large pile of brush my husband had piled up from a weekend of yard work!! This is a great company, and very reasonable too!

Ron Zaniewski is the owner and operator of Ohio Tree Care. He is a licensed arborist. I called him on July 1st to came and trim trees that were getting to close to my house. He returned my call two days later and set up an appointment to come and check out the trees. He came within a week. I have a very large sycamore that had branches stretching over my house that needed to be trimmed along with some beech trees. They were headed for my chimney.At the last minute I asked for a tree in my front yard to be trimmed. He did that also. All was completed by the first week in Aug. Ron was very personable and extremely knowledgeable about trees. We dicussed the emerald ash borer. I live in the woods and it has been discovered in my area. Ron gave me information on how to prevent it from getting to my ash trees. I will definately use him in the furture.

I am trying to save my two ash trees and Ron has treated them twice. He calls me (as I asked) in the spring when it is the proper time to apply the chemicals so I will not miss a year. He has also promptly (twice) taken down very major limbs overhanging my house as a result of strom damage (inluding a neighbor's towering white pine that fell on my house). He is a certified arborist & seems very honest.

The principle owner who is a certified arborist came to give us an estimate on the work to be completed. We hired him to do the work - He arrived on the agreed upon day and was on time. All work was completed in a thoughtful, meticulous manner, precisely as discussed when the estimate was written. In addition, we were periodically asked our opinion on the progress of the work and if we were happy with the results. After the trees were removed, the yard and surrounding areas were cleaned and raked.

Out of four bids, all good companies, they were the most competitive price. The large tree was in the front yard. They called (we missed the call) and came to remove the tree. Quickly and safely removed a large tree. Excellent work, spotless clean up. Even our neighbor watching commented on how good they were. Would definately call again.

So far not so good.---I called Wednesday 5/20/09 and spoke to a man about coming out for an estimate. He said he could come out toward the end of the week and would give me a call to confirm a time. That week ended and I thought maybe he said the end of next week. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited for a call. The next week came and ended and still no call. I still want to give him a chance to come out and give an estimate. I understand that things happen, so I will be calling him back for another chance. I did want to submit this report because of the poor responsiveness I received.

arrived right on time, did work, cleaned up. perfect.

We told them what to do, they came, did it, and left. They sent me a bill. I didn't even see them. They cleaned up well.
