O'DELL BUILDING & REMODELING

We contacted O'Dell Remodeling in 2002 at the recommendation of a colleague to construct a screened in porch, and repair water damage to the floor under our front door. They were one of three companies called. Mike O'Dell was prompt, discussed options with us, and provided a very fair estimate. In the end, they built a gorgeous three season room with a cedar deck, completely tore out the front door, repaired the flooring, and installed a new front door with two sidelights. He and his brother Jeff spent considerable time trying to locate the leak at the front door, and went as far as removing the siding to do water testing---VERY THOROUGH!! They caulked all openings that could be potential leak areas, installed Tyvek and replaced the siding. Everyone was very professional and I appreciated the attention to detail (I'm very picky). I have used them since for other projects, and will continue to do so.

I kept having to call O'Dell because they didn't call me back at different stages of the process. I finally gave up on getting the estimate because I left multiple messages for Jeff O'Dell at the office and he kept blowing me off.

JEFF WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONABLE. HE WAS ON TIME AND HAS A REASONABLE SIZE CREW. HOWEVER, HE DID NOT END UP SUBMITTING A BID SAYING THAT HE DID NOT THINK THAT THEY COULD COMPETE ON PRICE.

WE CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT THIS COMPANY. THE WORKMANSHIP IS BEAUTIFUL AND THEY WERE SO HELPFUL IN ALL THE DECISIONS, ESPECIALLY THE KITCHEN DESIGN. ONCE THEY STARTED THE JOB, THEY NEVER STOPPED. DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE REMODEL/ADDITION, WE WERE WITHOUT A KITCHEN FOR 3 MONTHS. THEY WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO KEEP THINGS AS FUNCTIONAL AS POSSIBLE, INCLUDING SETTING UP A TEMPORARY KITCHEN SINK. THEY ALSO CLEANED UP EVERY NIGHT TO KEEP THE WHOLE HOUSE DUST TO A MINIMUM. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND APPROACHABLE AND THE KIND OF PEOPLE YOU WOULD WANT WORKING IN YOUR HOME!
