Great. Dr. Hird is extremely knowledgeable about cats and is a specialist in cat behavior. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, and very kind to my kitty. I walked out with a great deal of information in and better prepared to care for and understand my cat .

They're very punctual when I called today, they got her right in. I've been going there for 30 years.

They do a great job. I've never had a problem with them. The wait time is usually 5 to 10 minutes.

They are fabulous.  They give you a little travel bag for the next time.  They don't just throw them in a crate.  I like the way that they take a personal touch with my cat because she is not much of  a people pet.

They have taken care of all my animals. Everyone there is very nice to myself and my animals and they know them by name. I've had many medical issues with my cats and they have been able to work me in when I needed help and have been able to answer my questions.

The quality is very good and very thorough but I eventually had to go elsewhere due to their high charges. The have a practice of performing tests without discussing the charges or presenting lower cost options, thus leaving you shell shocked when you are presented with a huge bill at the end of the appointment, and that's just in diagnostics! Leaving you in a financial bind to get the actual problem treated, which would usually be the same price as all the diagnostic work! Eventually I had to leave when I was having a cat treated for a bad ear infection, the cat was one that was not really mine, someone had dumped her on me after I said I would watch her for a set time period. I informed the staff over and over that she wasn't mine and I didn't have a lot to spend on her, I just wanted the ear infection cleared up. That was when I was charged up $400 in diagnostics, ie scopes, swabs, tests, and then quoted another $1000 for a surgery. Not necessarily bad if you want to do as much as possible for your pet, the problem was that they didn't listen to my concerns and didn't offer me other options to deal with the problem at a lower cost. I've since been to other vets that tell you the charges ahead of time if you ask, and that offer you options for treatment based on what you can afford. I want to stress, The quality of work is good, the staff is pleasent, the pricing was just getting out of hand.

I visited them many times associated with that problem. I have been using them for about 20 years. They are accessible and thorough. They give referrals if they thing that someone else will be able to treat better. They love animals. Their price is pretty much average.

We have been going to them for years. They are a really good hospital and they have good veterinarians there. Our dogs are treated very well there.

My experience with her was good. She is a great vet and she is concerned about our dog. I have a lab, shepherd husky mix. I spent about $150 on that service. The prices are a little high, but the service is worth it.

This was the first visit and they made me and my pet feel at ease. The clinic was very clean and well setup. I especially like the way they were understanding and gentle with my pet. The vet explained things very well. The assistants were professional and seemed to truly care about my pet. I like the fact that they had prices posted for their meds along side the price of internet meds, it was a bonus that theire meds were less. Will gladly recommend the clinic to anyone.

They fit us in on a busy Saturday when we called with concerns about our new puppy (8 wks old). She was starting to develop a cough after a bordatella vaccination. They checked her out and prescribed antibiotics. They also answered our questions and made us very comfortable. They are always very concerned about our pets and our needs as their owners. We love this practice!

Great! Although I was offered the chance to have a vet exam, I was also told that I could buy Frontline OTC without an exam - for someone on a budget, that was a great option. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. They initially recommended a house treatment as well, but after hearing about my situation, amended the recommendations to what was appropriate for me! Thank you and I'll be back!

I think the doctors that I have dealt with at Northwest Animal Hospital are extremely kind and very knowledgeable. Dr Hird, in particular, is very easy to work with. I had a pet that wasn't going to survive that they had to put down. They were very kind and very good with both my pet and me. They were very responsive to my feelings.

I think it went fine, it's always hard to tell. Our dog is so old and we've spent so much money on her senior exam and this teeth cleaning, I'm not doing either one again. I only did it because she does seem to have trouble eating and I'd like to get that gingivitis cleared up. I do always feel like I'm spending an incredible amount of money when I go there, but to their credit, the staff is always responsive and professional. I have to admit that I also like that staff bring their dogs to work and/or they have dogs/cats that they're holding for adoption (1 or 2 well-behaved dogs are always behind the counter area). As for the cost, I trimmed a few things from the estimate, but agreed to an extra x-ray and bought some special food there so the price ended up being the same.

I have found that everyone at the clinic is professional and caring. My experience elsewhere has not been at all like this. I am pleasantly surprised with the staff who actually focus on what they are doing. The organization is customer oriented. I truly appreciate this. They are all skillful and knowledgeable.

They do a very good job however make sure you have lots of money. They will sell you every optional service that exists. They make every service sound critical. It's sort of expensive when you are told you need to spend $700 a year to keep a average cat healthy.

Although we typically don't walk out of there without dropping at least $100, we could never say that they do a bad job. Our only complaints would be price and length of wait at times, but Dr. Hird is always VERY thorough and has taken very good care of our dog. Even though we moved out of the neighborhood this year, we continue to drive back because we would never take him anywhere else. The staff are always friendly, and our dog actually LIKES going to the vet.

If you want to take your pet there for regular shots and check-ups they do a good job. I do not however take them for more complex situations.
