I would not recommend this company. The quote did not match the invoice. After multiple calls they continuously changed and increased the invoice from the quote. I finally just canceled all future work with this company.
Details:
Day of Quote: Around 5:30 pm two men (Joe Pinetti - Sales Manager and Jeff -Sales) ring the doorbell and offer a quote for lawn care. I agree and we take a quick walk around the house and they point of areas of the lawn that can be improved. Jeff fills out a check sheet and explains the details of my lawn. We go through many option and start negotiating of what application I want to order, constantly making changes to the check sheet (crossing things out and adding others). We reach an agreement and he says that someone will call me shortly to schedule everything and make payment. I waited and no one called or left any messages.
The next day I receive an invoice in my email and it does not match what we agreed upon. The items on the invoice did not match and the total was $50 higher than expected. I called the office and spoke to Chris Conley (Office Administrator). Chris was very helpful. He understood my concern and gave me more detailed information than I received during the initial quote. Chris stated that he just audits the forms and he would call Jeff to help straightening everything out and I would receive a call back shortly.
Jeff called about 4 hours later and we discussed and at the end I clarified what I was expected so that we would both be on the same page and he agreed. About an hour later I receive an updated invoice by email. Additional items have been added to the invoice and now it is approximately $100 higher than the estimate. I call the office and Chris answers the phone. Again he is very helpful and agrees that this is not what we discussed. He contacts Jeff again, who calls me around 2 hours later. Jeff tries to up-sell me on additional applications and finally I just state that I want to cancel my order. Jeff says thank you and wishes me a nice day.
An hour later Jeff gives me another call and says that he has talked to his manager and attempts to up-sell me again. I state that I am happy he was able to discuss with his manager, but I am not interested.
In summary, I can not comment on the quality of their product, but from my experience I would not recommend this company based on the way they handle their customer service.
"NexGreen takes every customer experience and interaction very seriously. Customer service is the cornerstone of our business and critical to our reputation. Unfortunately we had a conversation with [member name removed] that was apparently misunderstood. Our sales presentation was consistent with our spring offer and included either a free perimeter pest treatment or a 10% discount with a prepayment of our 5 application program. The "negotiations" occurred when [member name removed]insisted on buying 4 applications and we agreed to still honor the free perimeter pest treatment if he prepaid. This was outlined in the new customer email that was sent out the following morning. The free application was not realized unless the prepayment option was executed. [member name removed] contacted our office again and stated that he wanted the "free application" without prepaying. We continued to work with [member name removed] to resolve his concerns and meet his needs. After multiple phone conversations, [member name removed] decided to not to use NexGreen services because we refused to discount our services down to the level he required. I feel the “F” rating of our business is unjustified because we did try to work to resolve his concerns on multiple occasions and he never actually experienced our service. NexGreen has a 98% Customer satisfaction rating and we always work diligently to provide superior customer service."
