I like them because they are local. For instance, if I purchase a computer from them and I have any issues I can just bring it to them. I have a computer right now, that I purchased on line and whenever I have issues it's maddening. At Micro Center they are knowledgable; I can really tell they know what they are talking about, as opposed to a Best Buy where not everyone knows the products. I will definitely continue to go back to Micro Center.

When you go into the repair center at Micro Center, you sign in at a computer to insure that people are helped in the proper order.There is a status board to show who is begin served and who is waiting. I was impressed with the system. I did not have to wait and was called to the counter by a Tech named Michael Weiler. There are 4 or 5 stations at the counter where techs can hook your computer up to a power supply and monitor. I was impressed with how patient the tech was and how knowledgable he was. He answered all of my questions and spent a lot of time with me. However, he could not discover the problem and said I would have to leave for the techs in the back to evaluate it. Another tech named Micahael Hagood called the next day and said he would have to run a diagnostic on it and gave me the price. He also gave me the price if it was necessary to to re-install the operating system. He did call later and said the problem was the operating system and it would have to be re-installed. Over the course of that day and the next, I called him 2 or 3 times with questions and was happy that each time I could talk directly with him Again, he was patient and answered all of my questions. I picked the machine up two days after I left it.

The equipment we purchased was fine but we are having issues with the service. We have a rouge virus that shows up on and off. Even after some service on the virus they still damaged the virus protection we purchased.

Their prices seemed pretty good. The only problem that I had was that I bought the printer online and they would only hold it for 3 days. I couldn't get there in that time so I called and it took about 30 minutes on the phone to work it out so it would still be there on Saturday.

It was kind of tricky to figure out and ultimately I needed a new motherboard. They were very good about helping me try to figure it out because it could have been viruses or many other things. They tried several different things. I had purchased a maintenance plan when I purchased the computer so I didn't have to pay for it but it was gone for over a month because they don't repair laptops on site. They had to send it somewhere else. It ended up being an incredible ordeal but they were always nice about it. They didn't do anything wrong; it was just the circumstance. Even when they sent it out a part had to be ordered from the manufacturer and that didn't come right away. It just took a long time. I appreciated them because they offered free tech support and I could go in there as much as I wanted and hook up my computer. Somebody would sit there with me and try to figure out what was wrong with it. I like them a lot. I was in there for once a week for about 1 1/2 months. They knew that I was doing everything they told me to do and they couldn't figure it out either. I really didn't pay them anything because of the warranty that I had purchased. My equipment was always ready when they said it would be when it was in their control.

My wife bought a laptop from them for work and she has been using them for a little over 18 months. They have good selection and service. We had no issues with them, but there were some difficulties because she was dealing with 3 companies. The maker of her computer, Micro Center and herself and they were talking back and forth and I think there was some miscommunication.

I took my 4 year old Dell laptop in to technical support at 11am. Sean Zonner greated my immediately and started trouble shooting. With 30 min. Sean had sent me for the part needed and had installed it. It was easy to find the part with the help of Zach and easy to pay for and get all the rebate info from cashier Alex. Once Sean got the computer "up to speed" he spent another 2 hours clearing up the mess on my computer. Sean was very patient and helpful.

I would say I would give them an A for an overall grade. They were way above average. They were a very knowledgeable staff and there was no pressure to buy. I don't think they work on commission. I would definitely have to recommend a guy by the name of Jerry who works there. He is great! I would definitely use them again in the future. They are the only computer store in town of any note. They have excellent customer service! I had an issue with my rebate and another company and that company tried telling me that I bought the wrong product for that rebate. I went in, found Jerry, Jerry took me to Coy and Coy took care of it and gave me my rebate right there on the spot. That is excellent customer service right there! They didn't hassle me at all about anything. They stand for the customer and I would use them again in the future.

Everything was fine. They tolerated all of my questions. The price was reasonable. It was comparatively cheaper. The quality is better than other places especially the selection. I have taken my computer to be serviced. I added the wrong type of memory to it. The additional memory chip was not the right size. They fixed it in approximately two days. Everything was very professional. The tech called me as soon as it was evaluated.

Went to Micro Center as a result of friends recommendation. After considering several options we purchased a new laptop and scanner/printer, on the recommendation of the sales personnel. Shortly after we took the merchandise home, we encountered difficulty with the printer. We took it back and exchanged it for another. We have subsequently had to uninstall and reinstall the printer software over 8 times, and it still does not work properly. I have called and emailed the company, they assure the Bethel Rd. store will contact me and correct the problem. This has been going on for 6 months and I have never been contacted by a representative of the Bethel Rd. store and corporate offices still is evading the problem. I have had no one contact me or offer any attempt to rectify the problem.

Micro center was consulted;they looked up the specs on our machine and sold us a new reboot disk. These are unreturnable items, as you generally only need them briefly. When I returned home, I learned that my husband had found his CD. So, I called micro center, as I had just purchased the disk and explained that my husband had found his, they agreed to let me return the CD for a refund. Great customer service!

They had friendly, courteous, and professional service. The rep. suggested getting a new one instead of having service work done. I decided to have the service work done. They had to ship the laptop out for servicing. They kept me well-informed through the whole process. The laptop was finished before they said it would be. The price was as quoted. I should have listened to the rep though. Six weeks later, the hard drive crashed. I decided to get a new laptop instead of re-investing more into the old one.
