"Hello - We are sorry that you feel this way. Upon looking into your situation, we learned that your Nest thermostat was installed by the previous owner of your home after we had installed the system. While we would not have recommended doing this, the Nest thermostat is a universal thermostat, and does operate your system. It can be set up to operate with variable speed, but it is not a simple adjustment and may require 4-5 hours to do so. When we were out for your maintenance appointments, our technicians saw no issues with the operation of the system, and therefore, they did not see reason to question the thermostat. It's true that our customer service representative offered to send a technician out to your home to address your concerns, show you solutions or replacement thermostat options, and answer a question you had about zoning for the regular service call fee. This is certainly a unique situation, and we understand your frustration. Please let us know if we can help any further. We would be happy to schedule a senior service technician to come and help you with this issue."
