"I am very sorry to hear that you were not happy with your move that we completed for you seven (7) months ago (July 2014). Leaders Moving & Storage takes great pride in making sure our services and business practices are at the highest standards in the industry. It is unfortunate we did not meet your expectations in this case. I did take the opportunity to follow up with the crew and salesperson regarding your move to find out what may have caused an unfavorable impression of the move process. It appears that there may have been some misunderstanding on the items to be moved. As you know, we are one of the few moving companies that provides an exact price move guarantee. Any changes to the inventoried items we sent you prior to the move would have changed the move price up or down. As we move the pre-determined items we mark them off on our contract and then have the client sign off verifying everything was completed as originally agreed upon. I looked back at the original quote that was emailed to you back on June 19, 2014 and the price did not change from the copy you signed off on upon the completion of the move. If any items that were to be packed or moved were not completed, then the inventory would have reflected that. I do know that the original plan was that you were going to move/pack a lot of the the items that were not included on the inventory yourself (downsizing from a home to a condo). There were specific instructions that we were given as far as what rooms and what items you wished for us to pack/move and the packing services were charged accordingly. I apologize if there was some confusion about that process as we are always more than happy to add or delete items per the customers' request. If items were deleted the charges would be reduced and reflected on the final invoice you would have signed; however if items were added, the crew foreman would have informed you there would be an additional charge and would have called the office prior to moving and provided you with the exact price at that time and to confirm that you still wished for the items to be moved. I do not see any notes in the system indicating that we adjusted the inventory from the original quote. I do see that we provided you with wardrobes for your clothes and did not charge you for these (noted on your original contract). The last item to address is regarding the fact that the movers had to come back the second day to finish. This move was always scheduled to be a two (2) day move from the start. Anytime we provide packing services, we will typically complete those on the first day along with prepping the house...then begin the move on the second day. This was the case with your move. Again, if this was not clearly communicated to you during the quote process, I sincerely apologize. I regret that this explanation will not change your perception of your past move. That said, the actual move seemed to go smoothly and we would have rated them highly. Things happen, things get broken...it is the nature of the business, but the breakdown in communication, lack of professionalism, disrespect and slow resolution will forever tarnished our opinion of Leaders. We will NOT recommend this company to anyone for these reasons. We wouldn't want anyone to deal with this considering there are other moving choices in town.
"It is true that the claims process did fall short in minimizing the burden to the client and was not as expedient as it should have been. We are deeply sorry for the errors that have occurred and are pleased that the issues brought forth have been addressed and resolved. On moving day, the employees were also prompt, efficient and professional. They moved the contents of my home with no damage to the homes or my belongings. They worked from 9am to 6:30pm to get the job done.
I was also able to buy packing boxes from the company (which they buy back for 80 cents on the dollar) plus packing paper and tape.

We were very pleased. The scheduling over the phone was very easy. My wife gave descriptions of what we wanted moved and they gave a quote and scheduled it. We liked the set/fixed price they quoted vs an hourly charge. Leaders was also the cheapest of the three quotes we got. Two guys showed up on moving day and were extremely polite, professional, careful and efficient. They couldn't have been better. They had our best interest in mind and did whatever we asked, with no hesitations or questions. They laid moving pads down in all doorways and common walk areas and padded all doorways they had to move big furniture through. We would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone, without hesitation.

First I scheduled the move with Grace. She was helpful and easy to work with.
Then the crew of movers arrived the day of the move. They were on time. There were four men and two trucks.
They were all nice to work with and were really quick. They worked really hard. There was one item broken that was important to me that I suggested duct taping before moving it but they didn't. Well it broke.
My problem is that the company said that they would happily correct the problem. I spoke to Brian multiple times asking him to correct the problem and Tony probably two times. I sent photos of the broken item to the furniture company that they use. The furniture company said they won't be able to fix it. I also sent them to Brian. After this Brian said multiple times they would resolve the problem by fixing it or replacing it. It has been over a month since this all started. I was VERY nice every time I talked to Tony or Brian and the last time I called Brian I felt like he was jerking me around and not going to remedy the problem. He said he'd have someone call me.
No one has called.
I'd just like my piece of furniture fixed.
Overall, Grace was easy to schedule the move with, the movers were nice enough and hard working, but trying to get the issue of my broken furniture resolved has been a nightmare that they will clearly not fix. For this reason I would NOT recommend Leaders.
