Dennis and his assistant were on time, polite, competent, and helpful. They did the two repairs and advised about ways to address some other problems that we knew of. They also discovered a couple of problems we were unaware of advised us about how to deal with them without pressuring us in any way. Joe himself, the owner, called to set up the appt. When we later lost power unexpectedly, Joe scheduled the work for the next day. The power failure arose from a problem they had noticed the last time they did some work for us, so they had been correct in their previous diagnosis. They good a good job again this time. Will definitely use them in the future.

Joe was quick to respond to my call requesting assistance. The light fixture is expensive, an antique and difficult to replace as it matches other decorative lights on outside of home. Joe came out to my home to apprise the situation, discussed same with me and completed repairs to light fixture promptly. He also followed up with me to be sure the repair was made to my satisfaction. I was very pleased with his work and response time. I will definitely call him again for other electrical service.

I accepted a quote from another contractor before Joe could come out to provide an estimate. I called to let him know we didn't need the estimate anymore. Even though we didn't use Joe Gioffre's company, I liked him and his professionalism.

The owner or representative was very helpful in explaining how much the job would cost and in scheduling the appointment. However, they showed up on the wrong day exactly one week earlier than scheduled so they could not perform the job. They came back on the previously scheduled day, and they were very punctual. The job was done well and in a timely manner. However, when I called back because the lights were malfunctioning (turns out it was a faulty unit), the owner or representative was very short and rude in explaining what might be wrong with the unit.

Excellent, Dennis and Keith were on time and finished promptly. They explained everything and did a very neat wiring job.

The first visit went fine. The second visit went fine until I questioned the final bill. We were billed for 2 full man hours, which surprised me because the the second man on the job appeared to play a very limited role in the work and was so young that I had assumed he was an apprentice. When I raised this issue on the phone with Gioffre, he immediately became very angry and aggressive, demanding, "What do you want?! What do you want?!" I said that I wanted one of those man hours to be halved. I believe he misunderstood me to be saying that I wanted the entire bill to halved, for he rejected that violently and said he would charge me $43.50 less, which was a greater reduction than I was asking for. He said several times that he would never work at my home again. I may very well have been wrong about the second man hour; I did not watch them work the whole 1-1/4 hours and Gioffre did not address the matter. Regardless, Gioffre's reaction was violent and out of proportion.

Very prompt and professional. Two electricians worked for about 1.5 hour. The lead man was especially knowledgeable.

Dennis the electrician was on time and very polite. He explained things thoroughly.

Very professional and pleasant; was even nice about explaining to our boys the work he was doing as they were interested. He went out of his way to look for parts and provide quality service and save us money (probably several hundred dollars) by repairing vs. replacing an old bathroom fan.

It was good, Keith was promplt & worked without wasting time. Put in 4 GFI outlets in one hour. I would use them again. Keith could have cleaned up the particles that fell on the floor after doing the outlet change. (That was a small item since I used the vacuum to clean up). I did question one of the items on the bill only because I did not understand it. I think Joe thought I was complaining , which I was not.

Excellent, prompt on making estimate, did work the next day, and the price seemed reasonable.

Estimator was polite, knowledgeable and punctual. His cost to perform the work was so high it seemed he simply did not want the job. He simply jotted a range of price onto the back of the business card.

Very good: it's best to call Joe Gioffre early (before 9 am) to catch him for scheduling etc as he's a busy man. The person who did our work was called Dennis; he came with a younger apprentice and both were friendly, polite and tidy, and got the job done. Dennis also gave us excellent advice on which lighting to install when he first came round to see what was what.

Outlet couldn't be installed. I though the price was high for not getting the work done.

Dennis and Keith were on time, used their time and mine wisely, and offered two alternatives to the post light lamp. They suggested the cheaper of the two and even gave me directions to a store which would have what I wanted. Keith then came back to the house the next day and installed the lamp. They didn't charge for a service call on the second visit, only charged for labor. Dennis and Keith were very polite and helpful with long-term problems. I would have them come again anytime.

I had used them last year for some work and I had a small conflict with the original guy they sent out. So I had been upset and the owner came out a week or two later and he did the work and did such a nice job. So when I called this time I asked if the owner could come, but he said he does not do that anymore, but said I would be satisfied with the worker this time. The guy that came out was very pleasant. He gave me very specific instructions for when we have someone come back to cut the hole and how to change the bulb in the future so I do not end up in the same situation I was with the old fixture. We have had other electricians work on the fixture and none of them were ever able to help. This guy was the same guy that was sent out last year, but we both made the effort to get along, but he could not have been nicer. As far as I know their prices are very competitive.

The work was completed on time. The repairman was very friendly.

Excellent. They arrived within the time range I requested and called ahead to let me know they were on the way. One electrician and one helper worked straight away to assemble the rather complicated system, then hang it. I had some questions about my 1924 knob and tube house wiring and their answers were very helpful to me. I covered the floor and bed with a drop cloth to catch the debris from the attic. When done, they were going to clean up but, since I was paying them by the hour, I picked up the drop cloth with the plaster dust myself. After the job was done, I mentioned Angie's List and Dennis said I should get a discount which I had forgotten all about. I was impressed and pleased, to say the least. I am going to get a duplicate setup for another bedroom and I will certainly use this company for that work too.

I called Joe Gioffre for an estimate for having a light fixture and wall receptacle replaced. He was very cordial and gave me a breakdown of the estimated charges for the job. We set up an appointment for someone to come out to do the work. Joe called before the appointment time to check in and to ask if I was ready to receive the worker. The electrician was on time and friendly. He performed the work in about a half hour and I was very pleased.

Company was a no-show at the first appointment, for which I had to take off work. Nobody answered either phone number, the whole Friday they missed the call. They offered half price for the service call, but I felt this action should have been more substantial given the error. Work was fine, but overall experience, and inability to contact anyone left a lot to be desired.

THEY WERE WONDERFUL. THEY HAD EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION, WERE PUNCTUAL, DID A VERY NEAT JOB AND STAYED WITHIN THE ESTIMATE. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN.

I CHECKED ANGIE'S LIST, FOUND THIS COMPANY NEAR MY HOME, AND CALLED. THEY CAME OUT AT AN AGREED ON TIME, FIXED THE PROBLEM, LOOKED OVER A FEW THINGS AND ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS, AND REPLACED A COUPLE OF RECEPTACLES AND LIGHT SWITCHES FOR ME. IT'S THE FIRST TIME I USED THEM. THEY WERE GREAT.

HAD TO CALL THREE TIMES TO RECEIVE A CALL BACK. DESCRIBED THE REQUESTED ESTIMATE, AND PROVIDED CONTACT INFORMATION TO ACCESS THE BUILDING. WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF. NEVER HEARD BACK AGAIN. I CALLED TWICE TO INQUIRE IF JOB WAS DONE, OR IF THERE WAS A PROBLEM, BUT DID NOT RECEIVE A RETURN CALL. EVENTUALLY HAD TO RE-INSPECT TO DETERMINE THAT THEY HAD NOT BEEN OUT. TALKED WITH BUILDING RESIDENT, AND THEY DID NOT EVEN VISIT, OR CALL THE CONTACT INFORMATION I HAD PROVIDED.

CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. DID PROFESSIONAL WORK AT A REASONABLE COST.
