Their price was reasonable but he has to subcontract. He himself was great and he made sure that the people were intact.

They did a great job. They just had an expertise. The work that they did was just good. They were professional in what they did. They did what they were supposed to do. The only thing that was not really good is being on time. Price wise they were very reasonable. They were punctual sometimes, but sometimes they were not. When I called, most of the time he responded, so that was fine.

We purchased for both the kitchen and bathroom and were very, very disappointed. When we were able to get together with the guy, he came out and we showed him and anytime we would make a suggestion he was hesitant. He kept saying that they can't do that. And I am comparing this with Rossotti, who is local here in Columbus. So we had two people come out; we had somebody from Rossotti who was very professional, and then we had this guy. When he came back, he had a drawing for the kitchen but he wasn't prepared in that he hadn't done the drawings. It was the same person but he had somebody else do the drawings. And in the bathroom, it was sub-par to say the least. The kitchen was okay but the bathroom was not. And he said that he didn't do the drawings and that he would be putting in another drawing on our mailbox, but he never did that. So we were disappointed. And he didn't seem to have his heart in it.

Apparently he got a lot of takers for his $49 big deal for a kitchen design consultation resulting in 3D plans. Although he came to our home to look at the kitchen, take measurements, etc., it took a while for the design to be delivered. There were a number of errors in the first draft. He did come back over to confirm measurements, etc., again the designs took a while to be delivered, and again, there were errors that needed to be corrected. He conducted himself very professionally, but I got the sense that he got very busy with the big deal and had too much going on to devote quality time to each of the design consults. I didn't end up getting much more than i knew before.

We were satisfied. He wasn't satisfied until we were completely satisfied. His workers were very skilled. Tom was very particular, pleasant, and patient. They corrected the things that needed to be corrected Home Craft did more than what the other companies said they would do. The price for quality was more reasonable. Everyone that looks at our kitchen says it looks nice.

The end product was ok but it was a struggle getting there. Many re-dos and return trips in order to complete project as promised. Jim gave us the initial plan and quote, however never returned during construction.

It was way too high. It was just mediocre. It was about a year ago that we did this. I would not use them.

It went excellent. Good craftsmanship at a reasonable price. They cleaned up very well after themselves. They were on time and finished when they said they would. I would recommend them to anybody.

All workers were professional and polite.? Some of the work was"sub-contract" work with other companies.? There were some issues with the backsplash tiles, when the tile installer picked up the order (from another provider) the order was short.? Tom was diligent in securing the remaining tiles so the job was only delayed for a short period of time.? There was a section of paneling on the back side of the peninsula which we also had Tom replace.? They did a great job matching the stain of the existing wood and the wood panel?made a definite improvement to the appearance of the peninsula.? When Tom came out to inspect the final work, he noticed some scratches in the granite that had occurred prior to, or during, installation.? He contacted the company that did the installation and they came out and inspected the damage.? They, in turn, contacted another company for repair work.? The repairs were done to our satisfaction.? We are very satisfied with the products used and the appearance of our kitchen.? We would use this contractor again.

He was very professional and he initiated a refund on my behalf. I may use him in the future.

We are very pleased with our new cabinets and granite counter tops. They make the kitchen sparkle. Tom, from Homecraft, and the people from Konkus were very easy to work with. We have just hired Homecraft for a summer 2013 complete remodel of our master bathroom.

Had 4 companies come out give an estimate on replacing our shower and bathroom countertop. We had made appointments with all of them from a Columbus Home Show. Home Craft wasn't the least expensive but they were more reasonable than 2 of it's competitiors with the same replacement product. Jim was extremely professional and was thourough going over exactly what they would do, how long and the costs involved. For these reasons we signed with them to do the work. We had a scheduling problem and Tom more than made up for the problem in the end. They said it would take 2 days to complete and it took took 2 days to do the job. Hector made sure all areas they would be walking and working on were protected and after they were done you couldn't tell they were here other than the job was completed exactly how we wanted it. They were excellent in their attention to detail. There were no hidden extra costs or expenses and the final cost of the job was exactly what they quoted us and when Tom came for a final inspection he found one small spot I missed that wasn't caulked right and is having someone come out and fix it. We have already referred Home Craft to a friend for some work and we are having them give us a quote for some other work we want to have done on our home. We look forward to having Home Craft work on our house again.

They reviewed our bathroom and discussed options. The 3d rendering was delivered as a printout using low quality ink jet printer without any consultation around materials. It was not what you see on TV where they show you a 3D rendering that you can navigate and understand how you may move through the space. I was not impressed with the design, the materials or the idea's presented. The price to redo the bathroom was also unbelievely expensive and lacking details. I wasted 49 dollars on this bathroom design.

We had a bathroom remodeled...got held up slightly because sub-floor was concrete...had to wait for Bexley permits... We had a bedroom remodeled...walls reconfigured and pocket door installed

this is the first time we have used a Big Deal Special and we found this is not a good deal. The business owner said he got so many requests he could not keep up with them all. However he never kept us informed. The price we were quoted to redo our kitchen we felt was way too high for the installation of cabinets lights and flooring without any appliances. We were disappointed.

6 weeks and multiple calls and emails resulted in an appointment to do the measuring. 6 weeks after that, I finally have an appointment to review the plans on Thursday at 11:00 AM (rearranged my work schedule to accomodate that) Wednesday night, I receive a call asking if I could reschedule - no I cannot. So, I plan to have no further dealings with this company. I might have been unlucky and caught in a series of circumstances, but I cannnot recommend this company.

Follow up by company rep was prompt once I contacted them to redeem the A.L. deal coupon. Interaction with rep was courteous and professional. We had onsite consultation with rep. However, 3D plans were never delivered. Instead, the rep provided a one page, hand-drawn floor plan. Itemized list of project items did not contain prices. It only showed total cost of project. We expected company to deliver 3D plans and cost of items for project.

In late September 2012 we purchased a $49 Angies List special coupon from Home Craft Remodeling to be used for a kitchen remodeling consultation and plans.Tom came by within several days and provided us with some really good suggestions and innovative ideas on upgrading our old kitchen. He listened to our needs and desire to not go overboard on the scope and cost of the project, yet provide us a new kitchen and good value. We liked the plan he developed and his ideas were fresh and exciting. Within several days of Tom's visit and plans, we committed to have Home Craft do our project. We put down a 33% deposit to begin the process of ordering materials and building the custom items. Due to our previous commitments, we asked Tom not to start the project for another 10 to 12 weeks. We were fortunate enough to not have Christmas entertainment plans at our home this year, so Home Craft was free to start the work just before Christmas and work it in to their schedule to have our project finished early in 2013. The workers were very professional, punctual, and great craftsmen. Their attention to detail was excellent. They set a high standard and would not settle for anything less. They cleaned up as they went along. Mike and Matt performed the work and we were comfortable and confident in having them in our home, even during one long afternoon when we were away from the house for 4 to 5 hours. Tom came by often and continued to oversee and manage the project details as they proceeded. Home Craft is a family owned and run business and we are very pleased with the fantastic kitchen remodel they did for us. We plan on having them back in the spring to do some additional painting and updates to the adjoining dining and hallway areas leading to the new kitchen.

The process from start to finish was a great experience.

Tom is exceptional in the details and will not rest until the customer is satisfied. He goes to great lengths to bring the project in on budget with quality solutions to problems. I would not hesitate to employ his company again.

Now that the project is complete, the bathrooms look great and functions well. Throughout the demolition and construction, the team did a nice job keeping dust contained with plastic on floors, and plastic barriers around the work space. Generally the quality of the work was good ? a few punch list items of which all were fixed. The bathroom looks great, is functional, and is what we expected for the money. Tom's team of direct employees are very conscientous, friendly, and do good work. The paint subcontractors were especially terrific -- very picky about the quality of work they did, going back and fixing drywall issues to ensure the paint look great. The disappointment was the schedule, the pace of work, and responsiveness. The work was planned to take 4 weeks, however a couple unforeseen issues came up along the way which delayed the project a couple weeks, but it still took 10 weeks from demolition to final inspection. An even more frustrating and lingering issue was the botched floor heat system in the master bath. It was measured wrong so the heat mat didn?t extend to in front of the vanity where one would normally stand and need the heated tile floor. After several weeks of discussions, Tom agreed to re-do the floor heat, and we paid him the final installment on June 4. Tom replied with an email on June 3 stating ?Thanks for offering to give me a check for the balance - I appreciate your trust in me to take care of the floor heat issue.? I sent follow up notes, phone calls, and/or text messages to Tom on July 3, July 24, Aug 15, Aug 21, Sept 13, Sept 18, and Oct 15. On Aug 23 Tom came out to re-measure the bathroom to get the right size of heat mat ? something that I assumed he already had measurements for since 2 ½ months earlier he said he?d take care of it. On Sept 14 Tom wrote that the tile guy is on vacation for 2 weeks and he?d get back to me. Then on Oct 16 I learned that Tom still did not order the mat. The work was finally completed in mid-November. Overall the bathrooms look great and we receive lots of compliments. The quality of the materials and final workmanship is great, and the price we paid was very competitive. If we judge on the finished product, Home Craft does a terrific job. But the construction process and communication was frustrating.

After we purchased the "DEAL", we received a phone call and a couple of emails from Home Craft to schedule our appointment for our kitchen redesign. So, on October 10th, 2012, we had the appointment with Tom, and he took the time to listen to what I was requesting and my ideas, took some measurements and discussed some options with me, and especially some money saving ones, which was nice. He said it would be a couple of weeks to get the plans back. I told him no rush, as we were not in any kind of hurry. Well, about a month and a half later, I hadn't heard anything. So I emailed them on their direct website to inquire (I think it was a Friday late afternoon when I did). To which Tom called me the following Tuesday, after the weekend, to apologize and let me know he'll be in contact with me by Friday, or at the latest the beginning of the next week. He had been busy with a lot of the Angie's list deal folks etc. After a couple more weeks went by, I emailed them direct again, to inquire about the status. After I received no response, I called, and found out they did respond via email to set up my appointment to go over the final design, but I didn't get it. This was most likely my fault, as I may have miss typed in my email address, as they resent it and they did in fact respond promptly to my inquiry. So we set up the appointment for Dec 19th. On Dec 19th, Tom showed up right on time and went over the plans that just blew me away! I loved them! The plans were all well thought out, and I could literally see my old dilapidated & outdated kitchen in a virtual real looking new beautiful way. They were wonderful! It was my kitchen, but a whole new design with EVERYTHING I wanted. Tom also gave me a detailed estimate that was good for 6 months, it also had an Angie's list discount on it. He took the time to answer all my questions, and apologized again for the delay. I am more than pleased with the results. I got a floor plan layout, and several 3D virtual images of my kitchen's "new look", as well as the estimate. He did take into consideration my husband painting and putting in the tile flooring himself, so those services were not on the estimate. Appliances and their installation were also not on the estimate. He said we'd have to purchase what we wanted and give him the measurements so the cabinetry could be made to fit. Which is also what we wanted to do. Would I recommend him, Yes. Will I ever have the funds to do the actual remodel, well, that has yet to be seen. We are working on it, but it is nice to dream and to have actual plans and a goal in our hands to help get us motivated ;-)

Tom seemed knowledgeable and thorough. We don't have a story to tell as we are still at step one of the process.

Tom came out and went over everything with us and gave advice on what could and couldn't be done. We went to Ferguson Plumbing to pick out our plumbing fixtures for the bathroom and kitchen. We went to Capital Lighting for the ceiling fans. Once we had purchased what we needed the work began about a week later than anticipated. Everything was done in stages. The bathroom and kitchen were done one day, the ceiling fans were installed on one day, with adjustments on another day. The den was done while the fans were being installed. they came back a few times to complete the grout and the kitchen sill that took several coats of sparuretahne. They did an excellent job matching the finish in both the kitchen and the den. At the end Tom came out one last time and went through everything wth us to make sure we were happy with everything.
