I have used Gerlach for years and recently tried another company with poor results, so I am back to Gerlach for good. I recently got 2 puppies and I think their "accidents" had soaked into the pads, leaving a smell. My whole house smells great now and of course, any residual stains are gone. I thought the price was reasonable and it includes 50% off any cleanings for the next year which I thought was a great deal (especially with 3 dogs).

Great! The gentleman I spoke to over the phone provided me with an abundance of information on the services and answered all my questions. I was given a time when the techs would arrive and I was called when they were on their way as well. I was really impressed by the experience and professionalism of the men who were here. They did an excellent job and ensured I was 100% satisfied before they asked me to pay. I am now enrolled in a really great money saving program they offer for future cleanings for carpets and other services too!

Andrew and Chris did an excellent job. They took special care to treat some bad spots and seemed to take real pride in their work; they were very professional and personable. They arrived here on time and completed the work very quickly. These same techs cleaned last year; I appreciate the stability in the workforce.

They are very professional and the job they do is great. They are a little expensive, but I have them come in spite of the price. They send out information about how to take care of stains and little things to keep track of their customers. They don't try to sell me extra things when they come out and they are efficient but do not rush.

They are expensive, but they are the best. They always clean our carpets for us. Other companies are not as thorough and fresh and Gerlach. Their work lasts almost for a year. I could tell you, because we have asthma and so we can tell with the dust. They have a chemical that cleans dust mites, it smells citrus but the smell goes away, it's time release so it lasts a year and kills dust mites. No other company carpet cleaner has that that I know of.

It's very professional. They always take great care when they come in. They are very courteous and professional. They also do a great job, and seem to be able to work better than most companies.

The young men arrived on time, moved furniture, made sure that they cleaned the right areas, and did spot treatments on several areas. The carpet was heavily soiled, and several major spots on it. I was very impressed with the speed that they moved and how quickly they did the job. I was also very appreciative of the fact that while they were fast, they also took the time to do the job right. Very knowledgeable about what they were doing and very pleasant to deal with. This is a company that I will definitely use again and one that I would recommend to any of my family and friends.

Gerlach's workers showed up promptly at 8am, and the job was complete by 10am. Immediately after the cleaning, the spots were gone, and the general appearance of the improved about as much as expected.

We moved most of the furniture but they did move some of the larger items. There was one place on the couch that they did stain treatment. They also scotchgaurded the carpet. They called before they arrived to let us know they would be there soon and showed up on time. They were friendly and professional. We would use them again for future services.

Cleaning crew of two were on time, courteous and answered all questions. Once a year the upholstered furniture is cleaned by Gerlach.

I spilled at least one quart of dark tan paint on my winter white carpet. I called Gerlach at 5:00pm, and Andy said someone could come out the following morning. He said to soak up as much paint as possible with paper towels and then cover the paint area with wet, white towels to keep the paint from drying overnight. (I first used my VAX canister carpet cleaner to wet the carpet and suction up as much paint as possible - for two hours.) The next morning the Gerlach crew arrived and went to work. To my surprise, the paint is 98% gone. I'm sure part of the reason is because I immediately began to suction up the paint with the VAX, but VERY MUCH paint color remained in the carpet when I was done. I would never have been able to remove all the paint like Gerlach did. Oh - the carpet where the spill was is just as soft as the rest of the carpet, and it looks so good that I won't have to replace the carpet. Thank you Gerlach!

I called Gerlach on a Monday and they were able to set an appointment for Wednesday. Quick and efficient crew who were very careful in my home. Even called to ask if they could arrive early. All in all a great experience.

They arrived on time and were very professional. They asked me to identify spots and problem areas. The carpets look like new.

It went very well. They did a wonderful job and they were very polite, careful not to damage the woodwork and walls. We will have them clean carpets for us again.

I have used them for 20 years or more and they have always done a great job steam cleaning my carpets. They are very good and also take special care to wear booties on their feet to keep the floors clean. They always leave a bottle of spot cleaner and bootie for me, which is nice. I think they do an excellent job and I give them A's across the board!

I called to set an appointment which they accommodated very well. They said they would arrive between 9 am-11 am and they arrived at 10:30 am. The work took about an hour. The workers were efficient, friendly and clean. We had a stain containing red dye #40 which they were unable to clean. I'm told only carpet dying can fix that problem. They put things back where they found them, placed protectors under the furniture and raked the carpet before leaving.

Supposed to call us when they were on their way over. Never called. Indicated their competitors would immediately treat the carpet with cleaning solution without vacuuming up any loose dirt, thereby creating a muck / mud that would lead to other problems. But their technicians DID NOT pre-vacuum any of the carpet in our home. We inquired about the pre-vacuuming a couple days later and were told that it really wasn't a problem. So either they use it as a marketing tool and there's no truth to it or we have the muck / mud in our carpet because they didn't do what was promised. They sent another crew a few days later (after all furniture was in) but we're still left with unclean and stained carpet. Tile/grout cleaning didn't live up to their promises either. Later we were told that, "sometimes the chemicals just can't do the job." Their solution was a $33.30 refund (cost to clean 1 room). We expressed our dissatisfaction in a letter to the owner (9/18/06) and never received a response.

Went fine. They really made the shower look better. The floor looks worse to my eye, splotchy in places, over-scraped grout in places, and under-scrubbed in other places. They missed one area entirely until we pointed it out. Hopefully that was the only one.

It was a bit of a disaster. They had a miscommunication about the appointment time, so they showed up 2 hours later than the end of the 2 hour window they'd given us. Their equipment broke down, apparently due to the cold weather, causing dirty water to pour out all over our floor. They had to send out another truck, so they were here a total of 3 hours instead of 1-1.5. They didn't have enough corner guards, so some walls got scraped by their hose. Carpet in general was cleaned well, though not all stains were able to be removed. After we complained, Andrew gave us a small discount on the next job.

They did a great job. We had someone else clean the carpet, but they left spots behind. Gerlach came in and got out all of the spots. I don't remember the price, but it was reasonable.

Hired them to steam clean our carpets before we moved into our house. They did a nice job and were competitively priced.
