We've used him for a number of years. Andrew and Scott are the owners. The workers are extremely courteous. They are prompt and always on time. They call ahead to let one know if there's a problem or when they are expected to arrive. They are very helpful in terms of moving stuffs. If there are minor furnitures that need to be moved, they'll help one with that. I think one can pay full price one time and then the next time they would got it for half a price. It's called Always Clean Program. I guess their price is okay, but I do think that they are a little pricey. We would use them again in the future if need be.

It went well. Gerlach was prompt, returned my furniture to its proper place after the work was done, and they did a thorough job.

They are good at what they do. Their employees are thorough and cooperative. We have had no problems with them.

They called to let me know that they could come earlier than planned. That worked out very well for me. They called before they arrived. They let me know when they were near. The entered, put on their shoe covers and got to work. They told me that could move the heavy stuff. 2 1/2 hours later, they were done... The carpets are old but they looked lots better. By the week end I had been able to put stuff back and I feel I am in a clean house again....

I only spent about $300 this time and I spent about $600 last year. I do their always clean. If you go once a year with them, they give you a discount. If something happens in the interim, then they will come and touch it up for a reduced fee. I have used them for that. Last year, I did more of the house and they even touched up some other things for me. I have used them off and on for most of the last 10 years. They are pretty good sized and they are very reliable. Overall, I found them to be excellent with different kinds of materials. I have an area rug that is wool and they treated that because there were some things that got spilled on it. There was a new puppy that had issues and there were various other things. They really went above and beyond on a few of these things. I managed to spill coffee on the stairs and this was all within like two months. One of the animals got sick on the carpeting and they spotted all these things when they came out as well as touched up a couple of other things for me. I managed to get a lot of the stuff out with their cleaner. They were terrific. They got it done and they were on time. Overall, it was a very well trained team that had come out. Their price is good. Overall, it is higher than other people, but it is probably of good value. The quality of their service is excellent. Their responsiveness is good. Instead of giving you a phone call, they send you a follow up e-mail once you make your appointment. They are in contact and they let you know that they are coming. They will call you when they have got people on the way, but they will send you an e-mail the day before or so to remind you. They are very responsive to their customers. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

The workers called to let us know they could come earlier which worked great for our schedule. We received a discount for the house being unfurnished since we had just purchased and had not yet moved in our belongings. We booked through their website on a Sunday night and they were able to schedule us for Tuesday. The workers were very professional and knowledgeable about how to remove stains. They were thorough but worked fast, and were extremely courteous. They provided booties for our shoes and a bottle of stain remover. Our carpets look brand new after the cleaning, which is especially impressive because I was not sure if the living room would ever look good again!

Gerlach has done excellent job in steam cleaning our carpet. This company was referred by my co-worker. The technicians were professional and we really liked the quality of the job they performed. We could see the difference this time.

Gerlach's technicians did a wonderful, careful, thorough job. They arrived promptly at the scheduled time, and listened carefully to our concerns about the "level of clean" that we wished to achieve. Their conscientious work took several hours to thoroughly clean the carpet and floor tile throughout the house, but they continued to provide a high level of attention to their work and detail. We highly recommend their services.

Memorably negative experience. Technician spent a good part of the time bragging about his Master Technician status, although he was having the assistant do most of the cleaning. We determined that one rug was too valuable to clean in the home and it would be taken to the shop. Then, the technician proceeded to use this very rug to stage all of his equipment and to use it as a base to clean the surrounding upholstery. He was on his cell phone as he cleaned our chairs, using one arm and clearly not focusing on the job. When he cleaned the tile, he scraped paint off several baseboards. At this point, I asked him to stop doing any further work. Needless to say, he removed the evaluation papers from the paperwork before departing. As a final gesture, he left soot and residue from the truck in our courtyard driveway which lasted for weeks. In reporting this to the owner, he offered to paint the baseboards, but after this experience, we preferred not to have them back in our home. No discount or refund was offered, although their tag line reads: "Gerlach Guarantees it." The owner stated that they the technicians are suppose to "tape the baseboards before cleaning." I highly doubt this practice, so it sounded like a weak excuse of some kind, that really served no purpose in solving the problem. It appeared he was trying to demonstrate some type of white glove service that hadn't happened. Extremely overpriced for the service they offer and professionalism is sorely laking. This company is relying on their (somehow gained?) reputation and taking advantage of high-end consumers by providing no different service than those offered by nationally recognized floor service people. Save your money and find another company.

Great job and did it on the weekend!

Everything was fine until the guy who was going to do the cleaning called upstairs to me to come down (a few min. after I left them in the driveway). When I got there, the man explained that the e brake had failed. The truck had surged as a result of the brake failure when they turned on the cleaning system and it struck my 2-car garage causing over $ 1500 in damage to my garage. This was the day before Thanksgiving, and I was expecting guests the next day. But the worse part was that we couldn't use either side of the garage, there were ice storms expected and we had to leave both cars exposed to the elements. In addition, it took several days to get a garage specialist out to frame the garage so we could use it. Many bricks were damaged and we had to have them redone to get them to look anywhere near like what they had. The insurance guy for Gerlach was a misery to deal with. Ken Yash should not go near any job involving customer service. He was a jerk who I could not get a straight answer out of and caused many delays in the repair of our garage. The carpet cleaner had the nerve to keep sending ads to our house. This was not resolved till April. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

They do good work and show up when they are scheduled. They are responsive to the needs I have had with my carpet.

I would recommend them to anyone. They are very punctual, price was good, and quality was very good too.

They were slightly higher in price than the other companies, but they did a good job explaining the tools and methods they use. They were on time, if not a few minutes early and nice. The two guys that came were professional and took their time with the work.

Gerlach did a fantastic job. We called them after we had another company clean the tile and grout but left it in a dirty, splotchy mess. Andy Gerlach assured me they could fix the situation, and indeed they did. They cleaned the tile and stripped the grout (which had dirt sealed in by the previous company). They then painstakingly sealed the grout on hands and knees with an opaque stain to cover up the inconsistencies in color. We were so impressed, we had them come back on another day and clean all of our carpet. I could not believe my eyes; it looked brand new. Andy and his crew are professional, punctual, and committed to customer satisfaction. They are not the cheapest company out there, but we learned the hard way that you get what you pay for. We highly recommend them with full confidence. I am a flaming perfectionist, so coming from me, that means a lot!

I called Gerlach Steam Carpet Cleaning on the Wednesday morning to have 7 areas cleaned.I was pleased to be able to schedule an appointment on for the next day. I was given an arrival time of 1-3pm. I was amazed that I received a phone call at 1:05pm telling me they were on the way. They arrived promptly about 15 minutes later. We had not had our carpets cleaned for at least 2 years and Chad and Bill did a FANTASTIC and THROUGH job, My carpets look like new. They explained every detail and were very professional and informative. My husband came home from work and was stunned at how clean the carpet looked. Thank you Gerlach. I will be recommending you and singing your praises to all!.

There was a spot that just would not come out and they have a policy where they would come out if they can't get the spot out after they have cleaned. They have been out here three times for just that one spot. They are very good and stand behind their service.

You are able to schedule online, which is great for convenience for me. They are easy to work with and very friendly. I will continue to use them in the future.

Gerlach Steam Cleaning is excellent. I have been using their services for ten years now. I like them because they send two people, who are always courteous, well-mannered and well-kept. They are very careful with my floors, the trim around my doors and with the baseboards. I used the economic package when they came out the last time. On the more expensive packages, they will come and vacuum the carpets first. They will also move the furniture, if need be. They offer a lot of nice services. I like the fact that the carpet is not soaking wet. I also like that they don’t use a lot of soap in their products. So, when you back to the room, it doesn’t leave a sticky residue and you are not forced to use them more often. The guys from Gerlach Steam Cleaning also leave you with a little bottle of their stain cleaner and they recommend that you use it when you have a stain. They are probably a little more expensive than the others. However, I’d recommend Gerlach Steam Cleaning to everybody. Infact, they are the only carpet cleaning company I’d recommend.
