We purchased a new house and the inspection turned up some issues with the HVAC. The units were older and I was anxious to find out if they were in good condition or not. The sellers called Fire and Ice to inspect the units. The F&I technician said that they checked and cleaned the units, did some minor repairs and said they were working fine. About 6 weeks after this service call, we move into the house and we immediately notice that AC is working properly. I call another company for service. The tech from this company shows me that the units were not cleaned (obvious years of dirt and muck) and both units are very low on coolant. Too low for them to have been passed by any inspection. I'm not sure what the Fire and Ice technician actually did based on the report they gave vs what we found when the other company inspected the unit. So many obvious issues that they missed. I have since had another company look at the units as well and they are reported the same findings. Now, instead of my sellers having to pay the $1000+ service call to fill up and fix both units, I'm stuck with it. Fire and Ice failed.

I installed my furnace with this company, the service the first year was ok. This last time after I paid them to "fix" an issue that according to them was created by a electrical shortage the issue got escalated to a level that they recommended to change the outside unit that was still under warranty but the labor was going to cost me 1200+ When I did more research about the issue and other estimates I end up paying $190 to another company who came to change a bad wiring from the first issue I had where Fire and Ice replaced a part, left a mess including burned cables. I have pictures of the work done by them. My furnace including the outside unit is running perfectly and no replacement was needed but again, I had to pay another company to solve an issue that they created and tried to overcharge and take advantage. I will never ever suggest use this company!

Staff friendly and professional. Service performed as agreed upon through quote given. Unfortunately the company was unable to install unit for 4days after I committed to them, due to it being so busy. Thankfully they loaned us a window ac to help keep things bearable. Thank you for your service.

The technician was a couple of hours late, but he had gotten held up on another job; these things happen. Once he did arrive, all of the work was completed diligently and thoroughly. Very professional and courteous.

James performed a very thorough check of our air conditioning unit, both outside and inside. He used numerous measuring tools to verify the functionality of each part, and patiently explained to me exactly what he was doing and why he was doing it. On a Sunday night in the winter, another company told us we needed a new heat exchanger on our furnace and that it was not safe to operate. He said we had to turn our furnace off. We did, and piled blankets on our kids and on ourselves. The next morning, a Monday, my husband called Fire and Ice first thing to get a second opinion about the heat exchanger and to discuss getting a new furnace. Fire and Ice's representative told him they could not come until the following Friday. My husband explained that we had no heat, we had kids and that our house was 55 degrees that morning. She said she would check and see if they could come sooner and she would call us back . She never called back.

Called Thursday and they scheduled the appointment for Friday 9-12AM. Bryan called at 9:30AM indicating he would be on site at 10:00AM and was here promptly at 10. He encouraged me to watch him perform the maintenance tuneup and explained the procedure as he conducted various tests.

Excellent experience. Technician Lane called a half hour in advance when on the way. He did a thorough inspection, testing and maintenance of our system and gave it a clean bill of health. He put on shoe covers when entering and exiting to protect our floors. He was friendly and professional. It was very easy to call and sign up for a maintenance plan, and we were able to schedule at a time convenient for us. Happy that there were no issues with our system or any extra costs associated with the visit.

Roger was very professional when it came to explaining about the system and the breakdown of the cost. Once installed, he followed up to explain various aspects about the system and answer all questions that we had. He explained about the permit from the City and would also be sending another tech out to check out the system.

Very well. Will & Tre were the installers, called before coming. Put on booties, laid down tarps everywhere they were walking. It was a long day without heat, but they were both very professional and worked diligently to get the job done. They cleaned up as they went along and once the job was done, it was spotless. Explained the thermostat before they left as well as leaving all necessary paperwork.

Joe & Brad called before coming, were prompt & courteous. Being winter, they didn't even ask about taking off shoes, they simply put the booties over their shoes. Inspection went quickly and they explained what the problem was and offered to set up an appointment w/their sales dept. They were great to work with.

We have been so pleased with the service from Fire & Ice since they installed our new furnace a couple years ago. We purchased their maintenane agreement and Lane H. was recently sent for the inspection. We were so pleasantly surprised at the thoroughness and professionlism we received. Roger, the sales consultant looked at our old system and presented us with several options. Their price was good, and after research on the equipment, we scheduled an installation. Roger responded by email and phone to some questions, and was very helpful. On the day of the installation, Tre and Billie called us shortly before they arrived. They were early in the scheduled window. They were very respectful and proceeded to dismantle the old system. Before doing so, they spread ground cloths in the basement; they also did a good job of cleaning up the job site at the end. They explained what they were doing, answered all of my questions about the installation and equipment, and were very professional the entire time. They tested the system, reviewed their installation steps with me and left us with a new furnace and air conditioning system. The only surprise was that they must have set the hot water tank to "pilot" while installing the humidifier line, as we found out that evening when taking a shower. We were able to figure out what the problem was after some research. The furnace seems to be heating well; since it's winter we wont' know about the air conditioning for a few months; Billie assured us that we have a 1 year period for service adjustments. I would recommend Fire and Ice.

Technician arrived on the early end of the window and almost to-the-minute at the time he called ahead about. Ran through his regular maintenance checks and even replaced my humidifier pad without prompting (it was obvious it needed replaced and the replacement was nearby). My only small complaint would be the how far in advance I had to schedule (~6 weeks), but maybe that's typical for the beginning of cold season?
