Doc Thompson plumbing originally came out to my residence for a free estimate on replacing 1/2 CSST tubing with 1/2 iron piping.  Matt Thompson came out and provided an estimate quickly.  He was very patient with me and communicated by both phone and email when I was finally ready to perform the work.  The work was completed today by Mitchell.  He did an excellent job of replacing well over 30 ft of CSST tubing with iron piping.  He had a lot of tough corners to work with and was able to angle around them with 90 degree connectors.  Replaced were CSST tubing for the furnace, water heaters and fireplace.  Capped the existing tubing to the oven since we have an electric oven.    Mitchell also tested for leaks and reignited our water heater for us.   I am very happy with the service provided and would recommend Doc Thompson plumbing for all your plumbing needs.

They were wonderful. They were just very nice and personable. There was one guy in particular, his name was Tony who actually was able to diagnose another problem that we had and corrected it.  Then he came back out even a couple of months later to make sure it was okay with me soliciting. I have actually tried to use them since then when we had a couple of emergencies but they were booked so I couldn't use them.

Matt is great and professional and is very knowledgeable.  He came to our house took pictures, notes, and gave a quote.  He emailed the quote to us the next day and offered to schedule the work to be done.  They had to order the parts.  Everything went well until the plumber came over to the work.  He accidently broke a part when he was taking the old fixtures off.  Water leaked through the kitchen ceiling and damaged the ceiling.  It took him 2.5 hours to seal the pipe, which caused more water damage.  He then left in a rush and the bathroom was left a mess.  I called Matt and explained how concerned I was.  He understood and said they would get it taken care of.  The same plumber came back 3 days later and fixed everything, but they still needed another part.  He came back 3 days later finished.  He apologized and did his best to fix the ceiling.  Matt did give us a $75 discount due to the issues and length of time it took to fix.  Fortunately, we had another bath/shower to use during all this time.  Overall, I like the company and Matt.  They have done other work for us in the past.  I just think this particular plumber rushed his work and it caused some issues.  He was a nice guy and professional.  I will give them another chance with future work; hopefully, this was just a one off situation due to the part breaking.

It went very well. My old gas line was underneath a cement block. They reconnected a new line around the garage and back into the fireplace. The job took about 7.5 hours.

I removed the old sink in the kitchen and ordered a new countertop with integrated sink. That installer has done work for me in other homes and usually can hook up all the plumbing, but in this older home, which has had many "home repairs" done to it by previous owners, he wasn't able to because the drain was too high. When he measured for the counter in October he didn't notice, so I wasn't able to address the issue ahead of time, but mentioned it on 12/29 when he came to do the install. He tried to work it out but just couldn't and let me know that afternoon. I got on ever reliable Angies List and called a few plumbers. One didn't service my area, got a busy signal from another, and another said they could come out in 10 days to look at the job and see if they could do it. Then I called Doc Thompson Plumbing Co and am thrilled the others fell through. They were able to schedule me for the next day and Tony was right on time. He looked at the job and was quickly able to come up with a great solution (from the basement through the bottom of the sink cabinet) and had everything installed and working in under 2 hours (after a quick trip for supplies he needed for the job). It all looks great, there was no mess to clean up, I'm thrilled to have a kitchen with water after many months since they scheduled me so fast, and he was really friendly to talk to. Another reviewer called these plumbers rock stars. I haven't met anyone but Tony but I agree, he did a fantastic job and would recommend him and his company to anyone.

These guys are rock stars. Awesome service, funny and personable. They hit a snag due to the roughed in plumbing and were able to come up with a solution that enabled us to install our appliances "to code".  Great service!

I called that Friday morning and they sent Mitchell the same afternoon.  After a brief inspection, he determined that the disposal needed to be replaced.  It took him a little while to find a disposal but he installed the new one after about an hour.  The only problem I had was the GCI switch had been tripped and had to be reset which took me a little while to figure out.  I even called their office on a Sunday and Matt answered and gave the number of an electrician friend of his who he said I could call to figure out the problem.  When I was able to reset it properly, I called him back and he remembered me.  This company did a good, professional job and I would recommend them to anyone in their area.

I called to have a disposal replaced at a non profit. Tony was the plumber who responded. He took the disposal out and checked whether it was getting current. He thought the disposal looked like it was in good condition and shouldn't need replacing. When test for current was negative, he found the breaker box and flipped the breaker to see if it had been tripped. He told me that he could put the new disposal in, but that it was not going to work. He said I needed to call and electrician. He put everything back together. He was extremely generous on the billing. I called an electrician and told him what Tony had said. His comment was that Tony had done more than most plumbers would have. I would call this company again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much!

I installed two new facets in my bathroom and I just couldn't stop the leak in the new drains that I put in. So I gave up and looked for a plumber in Angie's list. I gave Doc Thompson a call and someone answered ..... this is a rare experience with most providers as immediately I was impressed. I made an appointment for the next day.
Tony gave me call before he arrived and he arrived right on time! A very nice guy and immediately went to work and fixed the leaks. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
