Continental Blinds

He was very friendly, treated us (along with the dog) with respect even though the dog was very vocal - he seemed to enjoy her as he talked to her alot.

Called their company to see if they did this type of service and if so,  what could be done if anything.  They were kind, considerate and told me they could take care of my blinds and come out the next day.  They not only replaced all the cords, they cleaned them which made them look brand new; whereas, another company told me that the blinds had to be totally replaced.  The picked up one day and returned the next.  Excellent service, excellent care of my double honeycomb blinds and I would definitely use them in the future.

They were good. I think their pricing is reasonable but blinds are expensive. They were less than another company that I had inquired. They were nice, responsive and professional.

Working with Continental Blinds was very easy. I was able to set an appointment to have the blinds picked up from my home within one week of my initial phone call. Isaac was prompt and was careful in removing the blinds from my home. That same day, he returned the blinds, which looked brand new. The price is very reasonable, and I will definitely do business with this company again.

Person showed up a little before the scheduled arrival time, which was OK.  Once the situation was explained, he immediately took the blind down and worked on it.  It was evident that he knew what he was doing.  He had the part that ne needed and quickly repaired the blind and put it back up.  The blind works perfectly.

The blinds were at least 10 years old, had never been cleaned -- dog hairs and dirty.   They look WONDERFUL now.

The Continental Blinds &  Care showroom is a wonderful place to start a project.  There are a wealth of installed samples to review in a very welcoming (but non-pressure) environment.  David, Denise and the Continental staff are very personable and professional.   David was able to come out to our house the next day after we visited the showroom to take measurments. He brought along several sample catalogs so we could make final color and texure choices in our home setting.  We were amazed that our order was delivered and installed within only one week of placing the order!  Scott did very professional work installing our large literise energy saving duette blind over our ktchen bay window and our energy saving duette vertiglide blind across our sliding glass door in the family room.  Heather was very helpful in taking care of the final paperwork for us and explaining the credit and rebate options.  We would definitely use Continental Blinds & Care for future projects and recommend them to others.

I wasn't sure it it could be fixed, or we would have to replace the entire blind.  Window Treatments let me schedule an appointment with them in advance.   They advised what the cost of the visit would be at the time we were scheduling.   They arrived on time.  They fixed the blind, all at a fraction of the cost to replace the entire blind.

They were punctual and made a good job. He actually did it on the spot so it was really easy.

Continental Blinds & Care repaired honeycomb blinds for me on three different occasions.  They replaced the draw cord which had broken each time. 
 The first two times they were able to repair the blinds within 24 hours and the final time it took three days - which was just fine with me.  My alternative was to mail the blinds back to the vendor and wait for as long as two weeks.  The mail order company that I purchased the blinds from reimbursed me for the cost of the repair, so I don't have an opinion either for or against the cost which was $40.00, I believe.  However, I paid over $200 for each of the blinds, so being able to repair them is much better than replacing them.  The people at Continental Blinds were very nice and friendly.  They even held off on repairing one order for me after the mail order company wouldn't initially cover the repair cost.

I used them last in December. They are very accommodating, as far as both doing the blinds on short notice and having them done within a 24-hour period. In other words, we took the man in the morning, picked him up in the afternoon, so we could have the privacy by night. They are very professional. They are easy to work with. I had five blinds installed and some of them were quite big. Based on our experience with them, we would consider buying blinds from them also.

Everything went very well.  Issac was punctual and professional. We talked about the two blinds that I needed repaired and the curtains to be installed.  I was glad to find a company that would install window treatments purchased from another company.  I would use this company again.

Spoke to them and got pricing.  In this situation, the blinds were of higher-end quality manufacture and well-functioning (undamaged) but extremely dirty. Some were greasy as well. Due to the age (20+ years?) of the blinds and unknown condition of surface under all the grime, I was fortunate that the original light color and finish was only slightly faded. When I re-hung the blinds, I was VERY pleased to see each one was totally clean.  Cleaning them cost a small fraction of what it would have cost to replace them.
I brought the blinds to them first thing in the morning and paid for them when I picked them up. It was under a 48-hour turnaround from my drop-off to pick-up.  I don't know if they are always able to offer that turnaround time. For EXTRA charges there is pickup and delivery available.

Excellent as described in the service performed.  I can't think of anything I'd do differently.

I originally contacted Continental Blinds because one of my old blinds would not go down all the way.  Dave Morrison was very responsive even phoning me while out of town.  He stopped on the way into work soon after since we live in the same town.  He repaired the blind and then we talked about the issues I was having with my other blinds.  I have to confess that this is one time when I did not shop around or compare prices.  I appreciated Dave's low-keyed style.  He did not try to talk me into anything.  I had a rough idea what Hunter Douglas blinds cost and accepted that he was giving me a fair price.  When he returned to install the blinds I talked to him about the blinds on my sunporch which were falling apart and difficult to open/close.  We talked about options and I decided to get the same blinds as on my other windows.  When I mentioned I would have to wait another month for the purchase he worked to reduce the cost crediting me with my earlier purchase.  Another employee, Scott, did that installation which went smoothly.  Now I have new blinds throughout which I can open/close and put up and down as needed.

They worked well with us and our schedule. They came at about 8:00 am took down our 18 blinds, handled them professionally, and took them with them. They returned at about 2:00 pm and reinstalled the blinds. This was the first time the blinds were cleaned ( after 10 years) and they looked brand new after cleaning.

They took care of a horizontal window blind that had broken off. I was able to schedule the service within a day. It was a good experience overall from start to finish and we plan on using Continental blinds and care in the future.

They are great.  I had no issues with them.  I had a little problem with a part, he ordered it, came out and fixed it; it was the end of it, no drama, it was just fine.  I will continue to use this provider again in the future.

The installation went very smoothly. I thought they really went above and beyond, and I would highly recommend them.

They did what they claimed they were going to do. They did an efficient job. The blinds were clean and we had no complaints.

I happened on their 5th Avenue office by chance, and walked in with no appointment to a very lovely office with a friendly, helpful staff person. She took my order to have my blinds picked up, cleaned and rehung and scheduled it for the following week. They sent a confirmation email and David, the owner (with his wife) came and took down all the blinds and returned them that afternoon. Although it was a little bit pricey, I think they did a great job and were very nice and professional every step of the way. I wish every service provider was so easy to deal with, prompt and efficient. I would recommend them without hesitation!

When I got new windows, I had a bunch of blinds that I needed to get. I have had a couple minor problems since then (6-8 months ago) and he is very responsive and I would use him again. He is very good.
