"I am very sorry that you had a bad experience with our company and it greatly puzzles me how this could have happened. Toro makes a great product that is designed to last a very long time. We carry all parts for these older machines and over the course of the winter months we may service as many as 100 of the model you own. We, normally, would only discourage a customer from servicing these units if the cost of the repairs is close to the price of a new unit. When servicing the early production snow throwers we do wait for lower temps so we can adjust the carbs for cold operation. The new units have non-adjustable carbs, eliminating the need to wait for cooler temps. What I need to stress most of all is this... We have a strong store policy, "The customer is king." Word of mouth has been our key asset for over 35 years of business. An upset customer shows me that we still have a great deal of room for improvement. We hope you give us another chance to provide quality customer service."
"I am sorry that you were dissatisfied with the free pick-up and delivery service. Como offers this service to six zip code areas in Central Ohio. It relieves our customers of the headache of loading and unloading their mowers and the long wait in the peak spring season. The service keeps our shop busy in the winter months. We service 2000+ mowers each winter with this offer. I guess what I’m trying to get at is the fact that the P&D is not an easy task. The time we spend making calls to schedule is incalculable (4000+ - and that is if you can get it arranged with one call for pick-up and one call for delivery). We always tell customers that we will call them a day in advance to schedule. We in no way expect our customers to sit around and wait for our calls. We call until we reach you to make arrangements. Because of the high cost of fuel, we wait until we have a full load within an area. Add snow to the mix and that is another cause for delay. When your mower came in we removed the battery for charging. The mechanic noted it on the service order but the driver overlooked it when he returned your equipment. Had your battery been lost, we would have replaced it. You notified us, we located it in the charging cabinet and returned it to you. We really try our best to offer you quality service at a reasonable price. We would like to perform our service perfectly at all times but we are human and sometimes a mistake is made."
