I was really happy with the service, He was efficient. He's honest.

I called Central Ohio Appliance Repair at 8:00 AM on 2/15/2018 to fix our Whirlpool electric dryer. The set up a repair appointment for that same day. The repair technician Dustin came to our house on time at 1:30 PM. He did an excellent job. He checked out our dryer, did some repairs, and got it working again. Dustin was very efficient, personable, and professional. He and this company also have excellent customer service. We would definitely use them again.

Repairman stayed for 15 minutes and didn't remove a single tool from his pouch.He suggested two possible solutions, each being over $400, then spent more time filling out paperwork. my conscience wouldn't allow me to charge $64.45 for 15 minutes. Disappointing.

Great. As it turned out, we only had to pay for a service call. Greg took care of all of the problems and gave us good advice.

Technician (Jason) called to let me know when he would arrive. I explained my theory that the drain was probably blocked. Jason used a shop vac to remove stagnant water in washer and then began to troubleshoot the washer. In about an hour or so he confirmed that the drain had been blocked and that he started a quick wash with bleach and detergent to clean the washer. He advised me to use powder instead of liquid and to buy cleaner for the washer and starting another load to clean it before using again. The price was less than I initially planned even though I forgot to use my coupon. I would recommend company and technician.

I called Central Ohio Appliance Repair and the gentleman answering the phone said what I described sounded like the plastic blower wheel was worn on the shaft. They responded within a few days and determined that the blower wheel was indeed causing the noise. While they had the dryer apart, they recommended also replacing the drum belt and the pulley. They did not have the parts readily available due to the age of the dryer but ordered the parts and replaced them 2 days later. The dryer now runs like new, very quiet. The repairman, Jason, was very thorough, polite, and considerate.

They said they found one leg of 220 outlet only read 21 VA. They referred us to get an electrician. We got an electrician and they did not find above finding. We turned the dryer back on and it immediately started heating. Perhaps all this occurred because the plug was not fully pushed in. I am not sure if appliance repair guy after replugging in the dryer tried the dryer again. If he did not I suspect he would have never known it was this simple issue.

Our refrigerator is a lemon--we have had many repairs. Central Ohio has done a really good job of taking care of our issues, and now know the history of the problems They have done a good job.

Technician diagnosed the problem and outlined the cost to repair. He also advised comparing the repair cost to a new appliance; it was very similar. I ended up paying for the diagnosis and the advice - completely worth the time and cost for the home visit.

The first visit was one week after the initial call. A new electronics unit took a week to get and install. The problem returned in a few days. The second visit by the same technician had the same result. He put a new electronics in the ice maker again. The problem returned again. For the third trip they sent a different person who told us ice was getting caught between the ice bin and a metal rod that is supposed to be lifted only when the bin is full. He adjusted the wire and said he would order a part to help prevent this, Follow-up a few weeks later resulted in the company saying they had no record of the third visit or a part for our unit. We have learned how to open the ice bin and remove blockage when it occurrs. This company needs to update it's operation; get a computer and learn how to use it to improve customer service.

Our repairman was 15 minutes later than what was quoted and the repair to our control panel would have cost more than buying a new unit. We had to pay the service fee for no work to be done. disappointing.

Appt. was scheduled for the next day after I called. Dustin arrived about 12:30 within the 12 to 4 window, calling 20m8nutes ahead. He diagnosed the problem in one minute. a control knob had cracked on the back and so didn’t turn anything when you thought it did. To save us money he just swithched knobs with one we rarely use. Problem fixed. Minimum charge for service call, about $59 plus tax is all there was. He was very customer oriented and polite. The whole experience could not have been better.

Heating element went out in dryer on Saturday morning. Called first thing Monday morning and said they would send a technician out in early afternoon. Technician called around 12:30 stating he would be there in 1/2 hour. He arrived at 1:00 looked at the dryer and said the heating element needed to be replaced. He did have one in his truck and replaced it and was done within 30 minutes. Technician was punctual, professional and efficient. I will use and recommend this company again.

Everything went well. The repairman showed up on time. He was friendly and professional.

He couldn't fix the washer. It was beyond repair. It would have cost more to fix it so we just replaced it. All he did was fix the dryer so it didn't cost that much. The price wasn't outrageous. They were able to come out promptly. He spent a good deal of time down there. He tore the washer apart and gave us an estimate on what it would take to fix it. He was willing to fix it but it just wouldn't be worth it. We bought a new one for less than what it would have cost to fix it. He was very honest about it.

Found out the problem was something could only be fixed by a Sears Tech. due to something about licensing, etc. Very honest people. Have used them in the past and will use them again in the future.

Jason was professional. He diagnosed and repaired the dryer quickly.

Paul S. looked it over and determined it needed a new pump. Discussed pros and cons of replacing pump or washer in relation to age of washer. We made a decision to replace pump. He had part in his truck and replaced it immediately then tested it. Very pleasant and efficient technician. Works great.

They came out on time they perform the service and a timely manner they were neat respectful and the price was very good what more could I have asked
