The handyman is good the company is not. The faucet that we have, the brand is delta, when they came here to fix it. They were surprise why the brand is delta. They did not ask me by phone what faucet i have. It was not in the companies catalog that they can't fix delta. The price the sell the faucet is 3x higher than the marketplace.

Called due to an email from my thermostat indicating an issue with the flame sensor, they cleaned the sensor and removed some leaves from the air intake, and showed me how to take care of the issues next time--the actual service went great. But when I asked how much I was told it was the basic service call, $98, and then the bill on the tablet was $283! I had them come out for service since they installed the system, but if that's the cost of their cheapest, easiest service call I'll be calling someone else next time. No real issues with the work itself but a nearly $200 additional charge for wiping off the flame sensor and removing some leaves is a bit unreasonable.

Buckeye Heating and Cooling installed a new HVAC system in my home last July. Took weeks for the system to arrive, even though they stated the system was available when I signed the paperwork. The new system they installed short circuited within two weeks because it wasn’t installed properly. They installed a new system a week later. We also had a humidifier installed within the system. However it wasn't wired properly thus not working, they had to come back out to remedy the problem. This summer the system hasn't been able to cool my house anytime it reaches close to 90 degrees. It's currently at 80° on the first floor and second floor is at 86°. Even with the thermostat set to 73°. They have been out once and stated the coils were dirty, after cleaning them off the problem still exists. After spending thousands of dollars on a new system I would expect it to be installed properly and to not have these issues not even a year after install. Update: It is now 84° on the first floor and 88° on the second floor. I am 8 months pregnant and even how many issues we have had with their service, was told the earliest they could come out is Friday. Remind you, this is after Buckeye attempted to diagnose and fix the problem this past Sunday but to no avail and didn’t seem to find anything wrong. Poor customer service and terrible quality products
Response from Buckeye Heating & Cooling

"We are very sorry for the install issues and have addressed them as well as the no cooling issue. The no cooling issue has nothing to do with the installation. it could not keep up in the 90 degree weather due to a plugged filter. We look forward to continuing to earn your trust."

I called Buckeye Heating and Cooling to get a quote for a new system because another company had come out to do a repair and found a crack in our heat exchanger. I just wanted to get a few more estimates. Susanne asked me how old our system was as heat exchangers usually have a long warranty (something the other company never mentioned). She was able to look up our equipment and found it was still under warranty!! She saved us from having to have a whole new system installed! Highly recommend!!

I paid their $160 yearly fee for furnace maintenance. They came and said a repair was required even though the furnace had been working fine for years. I paid about $200 for it. The second or third time I used the furnace after that it stopped working. They came back out and said a $500 repair was now needed. They claimed the failure had nothing to do with the work they had just done and refused to take any responsibility or give me a discount.
Response from Buckeye Heating & Cooling

"Buckeye performed the annual maintenance for this furnace on October 25th. During the inspection it was determined that the capacitor to the blower motor was weak. Customers have the option of replacing the capacitor before it fails or wait until the failure happens. In this case, like in most cases, we proactively replaced the capacitor, On November 7th the furnace failed. When we arrived it was determined that the control board had failed. The capacitor has nothing to do with the control board. We replaced the control board and the furnace is up and running again. There is nothing a service technician can do to make the control board fail 2 weeks later. Control boards are like light bulbs. They either work or they don't work. The furnace is 14 years old. This is the age where we start seeing some parts fail. Buckeye will always work with honesty and integrity. We will never take advantage of a customer. We have built an outstand company and reputation by being very honest. Please read all of our other wonderful reviews."

Buckeye is the preferred vendor through our local Costco. From the initial consultation, through negotiations, all the way through install, each member of the team was professional and detail-oriented. They were able to accommodate They left the basement area where work was performed cleaner than it was when they started. I will be hiring them again to replace the air conditioning unit in the future.

The sales person was very knowledgeable in outlining various options that would meet our requirements. As soon as we signed the contract, we were given a range of dates for installation. They accommodated our preference with two installers who were great with information as to what needed to happen. The two then worked all day, laying down a heavy cloth to protect floos as they came and went. After the installation was done, they explained differences with the older system, and were open to our questions. A really good experience.

Buckeye explained what they were proposing and what the advantages of each were. It is a little complicated because of the rebates associated with the equipment at different efficiencies. The installation looked awesome and I actually show it off to friends because it looks great. Very happy with the system so far.

Went great, they were able to get me in quickly and fixed my problem in same visit. I had been dealing another company the last few years I was not happy with them so I checked Angie's List and found Buckeye heating and cooling. I am so impressed with them I purchased the service contract where they do a Spring and Winter check.

Used Buckeye Heating for the past 12 years. Enjoyed working with the group over the years. Earlier this year, we received a letter that Buckeye would no longer be providing service to oil heating customers (we have a dual system - oil and electric heat pump for heating, and AC conditioner). Buckeye installed systems about 12 years ago, and we utilized their annual service contract (2 times per year review of heating and AC system). Trane AC system compressor became inoperable this winter, and choice was replace compressor or new system. Given receipt of their letter to not provide service any further, I asked the owner (who we knew for years) to return a call of guidance (never did; no courtesy). We did locate a new dual heating and AC service company (proving to be a pleasure to work with); and we are learning of a number of other deficiencies in our overall system. Sad; but I was noticing over the past couple of years, service and responsiveness was dropping, and etc. Thus, receiving Buckeye's letter was help in disguise, as it allowed us to find what appears to be a quality service provider. Disappointed and sad that a long relationship of service slid and responsiveness eroded as well.
