About us
Founded by Chris Davis, Auction Ohio is a family oriented business. Chris grew up in an auction family in southern Ohio selling farm equipment and livestock. He obtained his auctioneers’ and real estate licenses in 1985. After working in the traditional auction industry, selling real estate and personal property, the question was, “Is there a better way?” The live auctions were experiencing a diminished buyer base and we quickly realized that conveyance was more important to our buyers. Auction was relatively quick and painless. This was an easy enabler to accelerate a moving process by unloading unwanted items Commission was 50% - but everything was turn key.

it has gone well over the years. My suggestion might be extend the hours ( especially on Friday) earlier pick-up . Making more options available for persons who would like to sell items, but due to circumstances having sale at their home is not possible.

The (subcontractor) auctioneer list the sale late, at conclusion failed to pay for many items saying they were not mine (bascally stealing them). The owner of AO paid me out of his pocket for 1 of the items.

Fantastic experience working with Paula and her team. We had just three weeks to exit our house of 20 years after the sale. Everything had to go and very quickly! Paula as efficient and very professional. An online auction was completed and everything sold and gone within just a few days. We could not be more delighted with the entire process and treated us like we were family. Highly recommended.

Overall, the experience went as smooth as possible. I purchased the items online and was given all the information as to when and where to pick up my items. They gave us a flexible amount of time to pick up the item. We arrived at the pickup location and was met by a nice women who helped us retrieve our items. Highly recommend doing business with them!
