way overpriced

Felt like I overpaid for service. Invoice not detailed, just a bunch of whole numbers. I would have like to see the number of feet of pipe required and a price per foot quoted. This was not done, but I was desperate to have work completed before it turned cold. In addition, plumber had to come back twice due to leaks detected by city inspectors and gas providers.

Was quoted 12000.00 or so to repair all sewer pipes under crawl space.When I thought work was completed, the repairman came into home holding copper pipes.said they found 4 more leaks and charged me another 4000.00 or so.Also entrance to crawl space not completely covered when work was completed.This will allow animals ,my cat entrance to the crawl space.I had given a good review for this company,but on further review and time to rethink the process I would not hire again.I realize this was a tough job & they spent 4 days here but not happy with the additional $4000 charge,nor the entrance to crawl space not repaired properly .

I had previously used Apex to fix a leak around my garbage disposal. They were quick to respond, had it fixed within an hour and I felt the cost was reasonable. I called them again, b/c my water heater started to back draft. When I called I told their scheduler that the water heater was back drafting and wasn't sure who I should call. She sent out one of their plumbers and the only thing he did was hold a lighter next to the exhaust pipe and said yep, it's back drafting, you need to call an HVAC contractor. Then he charged me $100 and left, which left me feeling ripped off and not surprisingly the next time I needed a plumber I called someone else.

It was Great! The technician throughly explained what was wrong and what needed repaired/replaced, after that I was given an estimate and the technician gave me ample time to make my decision. I ok’d the work and he began. Took about 1 1/2 hours and the tech cleaned up my bathroom after he was done. I’m so glad I called Apex Plumbing. They will be my go to Plumbers for all my plumbing needs. Highly recommend.

I was not inclined to leave a review, as we had a pretty negative experience. I am writing this because the company used Angi's platform to request a review. We had a leaky shower valve component that needed to be replaced. The particular part needed was not available (due to issues with the manufacturer), but that was not explained up front by the technician. Instead, the part was replaced with a component that did not fit properly, causing the shower valve to not fit properly in the shower. When we contacted Apex to rectify this, we received a call from the technician, and the interaction was very unpleasant. Fortunately, the manager and customer service employees worked with us, and we received a refund for the original job. Unfortunately, by that point we were already certain we needed to have another plumbing company replace the entire valve, a more expensive job but the job that should have been recommended by Apex's technician. As such we can't recommend Apex to others.

There was a very slight leak in the gas line running to the furnace at the shut off valve. Apex was able to schedule a visit in a reasonable timeframe. They were very professional, explained the work and expense, and worked quickly, resolving the issue.

The work was great. But they are terribly overpriced. I paid $179 for them to put a new toilet seat on my toilet. My total bill for a broken flange was over $1600. If you don’t mind paying an exorbitant rate, then these people are for you because they do very good work.

The job went well! I really liked the plumber who came to perform the job.

Due to work performed by a previous contractor, our main sewer line cracked. It was the week of Thanksgiving, and I was hosting, and we had to turn off the water. They promised me they would get our problem fixed before family arrived from out of town. There were unexpected complications the day they worked on it and they called in the other crews to come and help as they finished their respective jobs. They got the job done and we had plumbing and water for our holiday weekend. They worked hard and kept their promise, and stayed late to make sure we were taken care of. They provided excellent service and care!!!

Apex was all talk and did a subpar job when it came to execution. They try to sell you on lower prices but it’s because they cut corners. I wouldn’t recommend.

Cleared one outdoor drain line but broke another one trying to force it cleared then offered to sell me a replacement of all drains like I was getting a deal. He broke a pipe on purpose to try and get me to replace them. This company is horrible and this guy was incredibly rude.

It went well, the best thing about getting my water heater was the people who installed it.

I had a drain from my gutter downspout stopped up which was causing water to backup into my sunroom. They came quickly and told me what they would do which was to cleanout all the drain from the gutters of which I had five. I had already discontected two downspouts at my sunroom to expose the opening from the drain. They hooked up their pressure hose to the first drain and that cured my problem. They were here and gone in 20 minutes. They collected payment of $400. When I asked why it was so high they said they charge and flat rate for jobs however I thought that would be for all five downspouts. They emailed me the bill and on that were some items that I had done myself such a disconnecting and reconnecting the downspouts. They were there quick and did a good job but anyone using them should get a proposal saying exactly what they are charging for and make sure they do everything on that proposal.

What I liked most about Apex is that they were very easy to contact and were responsive about updates as to when the plumber would arrive. I believe I called them on a Saturday or Sunday and immediately got an appointment set up. I had a water line that was leaking and Dale came out to fix it. He was very friendly and finished the job quickly. My only complaint is that it was almost $200 just to replace a plastic tube, and, Dale ended up leaving the discarded plastic tube on the floor of my basement. I had no issues with Apex at all, though I might search for a different plumber next time just because of the price.

Replace two sink plungers in my bathroom. I should have gotten a second opinion. Instead of repairing, I replaced with a pop up plungers. I got one price… no break down on parts and labor. Would not give me a break down. I felt the price was very high. I should have gotten a second opinion. Would not recommend, even though the repairman were polite and professional. The cost was $600.
