Three guys showed up around 4p the day of. Todd had told me around 2 when we made the appointment, but warned me he had a large job in the morning. I figured that was what kept them and I wasn't concerned about them showing up. Up until this point Todd was always punctual in returning my call and keeping me informed. It took them a little over 4 hours to cut and remove two silver maples in front and the 3 other smaller trees in back. They cleaned up all the debris afterwards from both me and my neighbors yards, and cleaned up the street a bit as they worked some out there.
Overall I am very happy with the experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommended them to others.

Although Todd and his crew do not normally work on Sundays, because it had rained the day that I was originally scheduled, they came the following Sunday to remove the large maple tree and trim the other trees. They were prompt and professional. Todd's crew worked from morning until dusk and constantly checked to see that I was satisfied with their work. They did a very good job on clean up, and there was minimum damage to the yard.
I am very happy with their work and would hire them again."Thank You for your business."
I would highly recommend Mathews' Tree Service. They were incredibly response, provided a competitive price and performed the work promptly. I reached out to them on Monday, they came by to provide a quote on Tuesday and the tree was gone by noon on Wednesday. Truly exceptional service and I will definitely hire them again in the future.

Plain and simple, here?s what happened.
Todd agrees with me on a time to come to my house to give me
an estimate, guess what? Todd shows up when he said he would just to give an
estimate.
Then he works with me to come up with a fair price on taking
down two trees and grinding one stump. He describes the job he?s going to do
for that price right down to where the debris and brush would be left, and how
it would be cut up.
AND THEN he say?s, and I quote ?and you pay me after you?re satisfied?.
WHAT! Finally a guy providing a service who gets it!!! When
I think of how many guys I have to say ?NO? I?ll pay you when you?re done, and then
we have to have all that uncomfortable BS discussion why and why not to pay. With Todd
there was none of this B@#$% S%%t about well I need it to pay my guys, or for
gas, or for blah, blah, blah. Nope Todd says, pay me when I?m done with the job we agreed on.
Guess when Todd shows back up to do the work? Right when he
said he would.
Me and my boys watched them work, a lot of thought and safety
was applied every step of the way. When he was close to being done with the job,
I couldn?t get the money out of my pocket fast enough. As I trying to hand him
the money what do you suppose Todd asked me before he took the money?? He says,
?Is everything the way we agreed on?? wow :-)
This guy should be running seminars for all the countless, clueless
plumbers, painters, and handymen who work so hard at getting money up front
they don?t deserve, for jobs that almost never get finished the way they were agreed
upon.
Thanks Todd, my faith is renewed.

They cleaned up the next day in the pouring rain and came back a couple days later to remove a few smaller trees that had sprouted up under the biggest pine.
I think the best part of their work was the promptness and competitive pricing.

They showed up on the first day right on time and were professional and efficient. My yard looks better than when they started. I cannot believe how well they cleaned up. If I ever need any tree work in the future I will only use them and will recommend them to anyone that asks.
