Todd was very professional as was his staff. They started on time and cleaned everything up like they were not even there. Todd also gave me some advice on a couple of trees that needed to be cut down. I would use this company again!

These guys showed up at exactly the agreed upon time. They hit the ground running and did not stop until the job was finished. They were all highly professional and clearly very skilled. Any time you cut down trees you have to be a little nervous inasmuch as once it's done it's done! Todd and his crew minimized those feelings by their confidence and they otherwise just made you feel comfortable. Todd has done a magnificent job with his company in a very short period of time. He was definitely "hands on" yet his crew really didn't need much supervision. They worked together like a well oiled machine. Mathew's Tree Service did an excellent job. Their price was very competitive. They were punctual and professional at all times. They were careful not to damage the property and cleaned up well after the job. I would definitely use them again and will recommend them to friends.

I called Todd a couple weeks prior to come take a look at some trees. At first I only asked for an estimate for the silver maples. Then, after he had come out and gave me an estimate, I had asked him to take a look at a few more trees a week later and give me various estimates. My neighbor and I needed to discuss some of the trees as the silver maples were covering both of our properties, so I wasn't sure exactly which trees or combinations I was going to remove. In the end we ended up getting rid of all of them. Todd gave me a good price and it was worth just doing it all at once. Three guys showed up around 4p the day of. Todd had told me around 2 when we made the appointment, but warned me he had a large job in the morning. I figured that was what kept them and I wasn't concerned about them showing up. Up until this point Todd was always punctual in returning my call and keeping me informed. It took them a little over 4 hours to cut and remove two silver maples in front and the 3 other smaller trees in back. They cleaned up all the debris afterwards from both me and my neighbors yards, and cleaned up the street a bit as they worked some out there. Overall I am very happy with the experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommended them to others.

I called Mathews Tree Service on Tuesday and Todd came out the same day to give me an estimate. I needed 3 trees cut down and the back corner of my lot cleared of debris that accumulated last summer when 3 large trees fell during a storm. I also needed trees removed on two sides near the house. He scheduled me for Thursday morning. Todd called the night before to confirm the time that they would begin the work the next day. He and his crew showed up right on time and his team worked the entire day stopping only for a lunch break. I can't say enough good things about his crew. They must be the hardest working team in Ohio! They worked quickly, professionally, and clearly knew what they were doing. I was very impressed and will definitely use them again. I will also strongly recommend this company to anyone who needs tree work done. They're awesome!

They were very prompt and gave me multiple options. They got everything done in just a few hours.

I requested a quote for the work that needed to be done. They made an appointment and came on time. They gave us an estimate for the services which we though was very reasonable for the work that needed to be done. They came the day they said they would even though it was rainy and we though they would cancel. They did a great job trimming the tree and were very concerned with the integrity of the shape of the tree. The original bid was for $300 but the tree was actually in our neighbors yard and they wanted additional trimming done. The day they came to trim the tree we asked them to do additional work which they did. The most amazing thing is how clean our yard was when they finished the work. They cleaned up all the branches and everything looked great when they had finished the job.

Timely quote provided. Arrived on time for both quote and service provided. Work done efficiently and expediently. Felt the service and value were excellent. Will definitely use their services in the future.

Although Todd and his crew do not normally work on Sundays, because it had rained the day that I was originally scheduled, they came the following Sunday to remove the large maple tree and trim the other trees. They were prompt and professional. Todd's crew worked from morning until dusk and constantly checked to see that I was satisfied with their work. They did a very good job on clean up, and there was minimum damage to the yard. I am very happy with their work and would hire them again.

It went very well. The provider was on site for about 2 hours and removed the tree with no issues, removed all debris and left the area cleaned up and tidy. I would highly recommend Mathews' Tree Service. They were incredibly response, provided a competitive price and performed the work promptly. I reached out to them on Monday, they came by to provide a quote on Tuesday and the tree was gone by noon on Wednesday. Truly exceptional service and I will definitely hire them again in the future.

First let me say I DON?T WRITE REVIEWS but this guy is one of a kind. Plain and simple, here?s what happened. Todd agrees with me on a time to come to my house to give me an estimate, guess what? Todd shows up when he said he would just to give an estimate. Then he works with me to come up with a fair price on taking down two trees and grinding one stump. He describes the job he?s going to do for that price right down to where the debris and brush would be left, and how it would be cut up. AND THEN he say?s, and I quote ?and you pay me after you?re satisfied?. WHAT! Finally a guy providing a service who gets it!!! When I think of how many guys I have to say ?NO? I?ll pay you when you?re done, and then we have to have all that uncomfortable BS discussion why and why not to pay. With Todd there was none of this B@#$% S%%t about well I need it to pay my guys, or for gas, or for blah, blah, blah. Nope Todd says, pay me when I?m done with the job we agreed on. Guess when Todd shows back up to do the work? Right when he said he would. Me and my boys watched them work, a lot of thought and safety was applied every step of the way. When he was close to being done with the job, I couldn?t get the money out of my pocket fast enough. As I trying to hand him the money what do you suppose Todd asked me before he took the money?? He says, ?Is everything the way we agreed on?? wow :-) This guy should be running seminars for all the countless, clueless plumbers, painters, and handymen who work so hard at getting money up front they don?t deserve, for jobs that almost never get finished the way they were agreed upon. Thanks Todd, my faith is renewed.

Mr. Mathews provided an estimate the same day it was requested, we accepted right then, and the work was done by a crew of four two days later. Very professional work, taking about 5-6 hours from start to finish. Everyone was very friendly and willing to stop and provide explanations or answer questions at any time. I couldn't ask for the job, the people, and the price to be better. I would recommend Mathews Tree Service to anyone who wants or need one or more trees cut down and removed.

Here is a good example of Angies Responsiveness and Punctuality Ratings. I called Todd Mathews on the morning of 3/18/14 and asked if he could do the above noted trimming. He had done similar work for us previously. Todd said they just finished a job near our house and he would be at our house in seven minutes and give us a price. He arrived 7 minutes later, said they would do the job for $350, and they could start working in a half hour. His crew of 4 arrived a half hour later and started working. They completed the job in about one hour. He and his four crew members all earned an A rating in every category. The next time we need tree service we'll call Todd.

The company was very responsive, professional, courteous, and caring about my property. Everything was cleaned up very well when they were finished. I highly recommend them.

Mr. Mathews returned my call the same day and provided an estimate the next. He was completely flexible with my schedule and came when I asked. I work 2nd and 3rd shifts, so I sleep most days, but he was able to work around that. He called to let me know he was coming, and was done with the whole process in less than 2 hours! (Which was very impressive since the tree was so large and he cleaned the mess up). I would, and have, recommend him highly to anyone. He did a great job! Thank you!!

Todd came to give us a quote the very day we called and was professional and knowledgable. He gave us a quote on the spot (that was competitive with another we received) and offered to perform the work that very day. We accepted and within a few hours, Todd and his crew were taking down the bushes. They cleaned up the next day in the pouring rain and came back a couple days later to remove a few smaller trees that had sprouted up under the biggest pine. I think the best part of their work was the promptness and competitive pricing.

They really did a great job. Not only did they cut all the wood, they took it and they stacked it up against the wall for me too, which I didn't expect them to do. We had an ash tree that was dying, it was sitting right in-between an oak tree and another tree, and our oak tree was just a beautiful tree and we were wondering how we were going to get that tree down without damaging the oak tree and they told us not to worry about it. And when they cut that tree down, they didn't even touch that oak tree. They did a really great job. They cut the seven ash trees we had that had the emerald ash bore in it and they cut them up and some of them were pretty huge trees and they cut them up and cleaned the yard up, stacked the wood all up on the edge of the property and that was just a really nice job. Cleaned everything up, rounded up all the stumps, did an excellent job. Their price was more reasonable than other prices I got.

I could not be more pleased with the service provided. Todd came right out and gave us a price just days after I called even though there was a big storm the day before. His price was better than anyone else we had talked to. They showed up on the first day right on time and were professional and efficient. My yard looks better than when they started. I cannot believe how well they cleaned up. If I ever need any tree work in the future I will only use them and will recommend them to anyone that asks.

Classless. Wouldn't ever use a provider that doesn't at least show some respect for potential customers. I will tell everyone that asks about tree service not to bother with this company. I ended up getting quick and professional responses and estimates from Charter Oaks and Kevin Master Tree Service. Went with Kevin Masters.

We scheduled an estimate and Mr. Mathews came out same day. Price seemed reasonable, especially in comparison to another company. I accepted the bid and we scheduled a time for them to come out. Mr. Mathew had in his books that this was an estimate apt, therefore the job didn't get done. He apologized and rescheduled (when I called, thinking he was a no-show). His team kept the second appointment and did an excellent job! The three men who accompanied Mr. Mathews (and did the work) were respectful and worked hard and carefully for four hours. They also did an excellent job cleaning up! I was very pleased with the results. Mr. Mathews followed up later that day via phone to ask if I was pleased. I highly recommend Mathews' Tree Service Inc.

Todd Mathews was prompt in returning my phone call, and came to give free estimate. We discussed how they were going to protect my lawn while using their trucks. I live on a heavily wooded lot and have had a number of trees removed over the years. Mathews was one of the best tree companies I have used. They arrived early and worked late into the night. They were professional, courteous and friendly. They cleaned everything up and more, before leaving. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Mathews tree service was excellent! Todd Mathews returned our call promptly and was puntual. He gave us the date of the tree was to be taken down and his crew was here at the time they were promised. They were very professional and did an excellent job. They were careful since some of the tree branches were close to my house. They did an excellent job of cleaning up my yard. Todd Mathews even called to make sure they had arrived promptly and that everyone was going along okay. My husband and I were so pleased with them that I referred them to a friend of mine and she told me the other day that she called them and they took a tree down for her and thinned some of their other trees. She told me she was very glad that I reffered her to Matthews Tree Service and she would definitely us them again in the future. She also told me that a lady she works with was also wanting their phone number so she could call them for service.
