What stands out is the friendliness, they get you in and my dog is so excited. Everybody loves my dog and they know him. They get treats after their baths. They walk the dog around if you are late and that makes me feel so good. It has always been a good experience and he is always clean. They brush his teeth and do his nails. They will trim around his eyes. I have been going there for 8 years.

Typical place of this type. I would have given them a higher grade had parking not been a nightmare.

Though I have used them for full grooming services for years - always a great experience - this trip was to self-wash a puppy who decided it would be a good idea to lie down in a mud-puddle. They provided all the tools I needed, a bunch of towels and all the time I needed. Faye got a treat to boot!

We have used All About the Dog grooming service for a couple of years now. They always to a great job on my Golden. And with all their feathery hair, they can be difficult to groom. They also have a self-service dog wash for $14 but you can often find a coupon on their website for $10 for the self wash.
Their full serivce always includes a great bandana which my dog enjoys. They only thing they do not do is express the anal glands which my vet does when needed when we get her groomed there.
Parking is sometimes difficult in the German Village area around the location.

Have used them for over 1 year. I ALWAYS ask for Ingrid. Sometimes have to wait 2 weeks for her but its worth it! You can tell she genuinely cares about the dogs. She listened to what I wanted and made sure my dog came out looking perfect. I drive 30 min just for her. Other places are much closer but I wouldn't go anywhere else. Yesterday was my last visit as I'm moving out of town. Ingrid went so far as to give me her notes for trimming so I can give to my next groomer. She is awesome! Highly recommend!

I like that she has flexible hours. She related to my large dog well. She did a thorough job and my pet looked nice. The cost is standard for this area. I am going back.

Great experience. Everyone there was very friendly. Finished the job early. Did a great job. My dogs were much less stressed when I picked them up than they have been at other local groomers.

Overall it was great. Their availability and hours are awesome. We took the dogs at 10am on a Sunday, had brunch, then picked them up a couple hours later. They did a good job with the grooming. The price is maybe a little high (maybe I just don't like paying more to have my dog groomed than my own haircuts!).

This is a cute little shop in the heart of German Village. They have several waist-high tubs available to wash your own dog. All of the bath products are organic as are the available dog treats. The self-serve wash includes shampoo, conditioner, ear cleaning products, and hair dryer use. The owner is very personable and very willing to help. There is also full-service grooming available.

Cindy and her staff are phenomenal. Cindy's very friendly and absolutely loves animals. My dog gets so spoiled when he's there. She often feeds him treats and carries him around in a little strap-around carrier that she wears. Cindy is so friendly that I often will stop by with or without my dog whenever I'm in the area. I love that her company is in German Village so I don't have to leave the city to have him groomed. If you like to pamper your pet and enjoy being in a more personal setting where people get to know you and your pet, this is the spot for you! They also have stations for you to bathe your dog yourself, if that's something you prefer. Over time, I've seen pets in various conditions (some haven't been groomed in over a year or have behavior problems) and they always come out way better than when they came in.

Cindy's great. My dog gets more excited to see her than he does for me (it makes Cindy happy but me a little jealous). He just knows he'll be spoiled to pieces whenever she puppy sits him. What I like is that she's always with the dogs she's watching and will bring them into her grooming salon. She has 2 1/2 dogs of her own (I say "1/2" because I believe she's about to adopt a standard poodle) and is careful not to take on too many dogs to watch. You can rest assured your pet is getting great care and lots of one-on-one time. I've tried fancy boarding places and the staff was not as kind as Cindy has been. It's worth the peace of mind.

I found for me and my dog this was a fun and bonding experience.
