My fridge had completely stopped cooling. Affordable Appliances came over because they were the listed service company under our appliance warranty service. It was just after July 4 holiday but someone came out late on the Tuesday night and diagnosed the problem (fridge stuck in defrost mode). He did not have the part with him to fix this problem, but came back promptly the next day. Excellent service.

The dryer was not heating. I checked out some places on Angie's List and found that Affordable Appliance Service had good reviews and was open on the weekend. I called and Jeff came out the next day and fixed it. Quick and hassle free.

He was very pleasant and polite. He was quick but took the time to confirm his diagnosis with his boss. I would use them again.

He told me he could replace the knob on my washer. He said that he could get me up and running by Tuesday. He came to my house on Friday night, and we had our fireworks going on that night. He was a little late from when he said he would arrive. He came in and put the dial on, and he was in and out within a few minutes. He was very economical, and gave me some stickers to give to my friends. My daughter in law called him yesterday morning to work on her refrigerator, and he came in the afternoon that day to fix the refrigerator. He seemed like a real go getter and came and did the job. They were great workers.

Very well. We will use Affordable Appliances again.

Went well. He came, he was pleasant and relaxed. He did the job and left.

We noticed items in our freezer thawing and the air coming out was only slightly cool. The fan was running and the coils were warm and so the refrigerator only seemed to be working. We found Affordable Appliance on Angie's list and spoke with a friendly gentleman. I spoke with him in the morning and he sent someone out to our house that afternoon. We were very appreciative to say the least. The guy diagnosed the problem being with the starter on our compressor and replaced it and left. I was very please with the promptness and service. I thought the price could have been a little lower considering the price of a starter is only about $40 but overall, considering the circumstances, they were great.

Nice fellow, but missed the first appointment without a phone call (after I had taken off some time from work to be at home to meet him). The second time, he arrived as scheduled. He inspected the refrigerator, took some notes, and said he would order some parts that would stop the frost buildup in freezer, and get back to me. He never got back to me.

Very good job. I originally thought the price was high but after calling around to get other quotes, the price was very reasonable. Most places close at five and he was able to send out someone at 8 pm which was great! I would definitely use them again in the future.

I called them because I saw them on the list and they had an A rating across the board. I was very pleased with them. They were very helpful and very informative. It was going to be only $20 for the service call, but my dishwasher is 8 years old and they came out cleaned the filter, looked at it and serviced it. They determined that it was the control panel, which ended up costing me $240. It wasn’t cheap, but it is working fine and I preferred going with this rather than getting a new dishwasher because I really like this dishwasher. It would have been major remodeling if I put in a new one because it is under the counter and I had floors after, so I am glad that they got it up and running. It works great and they were really great company that I dealt with.

He answered the phone on a Sunday and came out 5 hours later and made the repair. He was great and I plan to use him again!

It went very well. I was fortunate and they were able to provide same day service. Frank arrived towards the end of the two hour window, but he was within the window. He was polite and after he evaluated the dryer, he had the part to fix the problem with him so he did not have to come back a second day. The cost to come out was very reasonable and it was taken off the cost of the repair once it was done. I would happily use them again.

Jeff discovered that the pump was blocked by debris. He removed the blockage rather than charge me for a new pump.

Affordable Appliance was very friendly and helpful when I contacted them to schedule for the estimate. They did arrive 1 hour late, but this seems to be typically for repair providers now days. Once they arrived they worked diligently to find what needed repaired. We did not have the dryer repaired, but we would use Affordable Appliance again.

On tuesday they arrived on time checked a few things and explained why i needed a motor ,He called for pricing .and gave me a total and set a time frame to return. On wensday he arrived on time and got to work it took him less than an hour.

It was a great experience. Being without a washer/dryer is a big impact to me. I just recently had Sears replace the air blower in the dryer and it really did not help anything. It took one week for Sears to come out and another week to get the part. When the dryer stopped working shortly after Sears 'fixed' it, I decided to contact another company. I called Affordable Appliance around 9AM and they were at my home by 2:30PM the same day (they gave an arrival timeframe of between 2-5). They fixed the dryer that same day and it works even better than after Sears worked on it. And their cost was extremely reasonable (ALOT less than Sears)! Same day service, great prices and the fact that they actually fixed my problem would make me call them again when I need an appliance repair.

Call Affordable Friday after 5:00 PM and Talked with Jeff Wolfe. After a few questions he diagnosed problem on our eleven year old Gas Dryer as a broken pulley. Said I could try to fix it or have them do it. I looked at it (I already had it open) and decided to have them do the job. They set a time for Saturday PM and called before arriving. Fixed the pulley and checked it out generally. Ike the service tech was polite, knowledgeable and efficient.

It was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and had a reasonable price. He came out the same day as well which was very convenient. I would definitely use him again.

The repair went well overall. Called them on a Saturday and they came out same day (earliest Sears could come out was 4 days). Thoroughly tested all components of the dryer. Arrived earlier than first quoted. The tech gave me good input and advice about the future care of my dryer and HE washer. Good experience overall, would use again and recommend.

My refrigerator stopped working. They fixed it. It is cold and perfect again. They were really good. They were reasonable. They were quick. They were inexpensive and I was shocked that they did such a good job. Sometimes, we get what we pay for. With these people, we got more than what we paid for. I have used other companies before and they would charge me about twice as much. Affordable Appliance was a lot cheaper and my refrigerator is working ever since. They were punctual. They were youngsters but they knew what they were doing. They have been doing it for a long time. It is their only business. I would recommend them.

It went pretty well. I also called about my dryer. They fixed the problem at no charge, but my dishwasher is still broken and they haven't called back.

We thought we could replace the broiler element ourselves. We ordered it and replaced it, but it didn't solve the problem. I was standing at the parts service counter, and one of their people was there picking up a part for a job. The "parts people" were doing an electrical test to make sure that it wasn't the part. When it wasn't, a guy walked up and gave me their card. I went home and looked them up on Angie's List, and then I called them to come out. They came out and fixed it by replacing the mother board. They were very helpful, appropriate, and professional. It was mainly the part that was expensive, not their service. I checked with someone else to see if they were giving me a fair price for the part.

He came out the first day to see what the problem was. A tree had come down and loosened the electric from the house. The burners were fine but the clock and the oven were not. They came back the next day and fixed it.

Affordable came out the same day after our range element blew up. They were able to get us up and running right away, and explained how the incident happened. The owner/operator is knowledgeable, personable, and hard-working. One part had to be ordered, but we were able to use three burners through the holiday season thanks to their efforts. The job is now finished, and our family really appreciated Affordable's efforts. Their service call cost is reasonable (about $20 to come out; then they'll let you know how much to do the job), and we didn't pay until the work was completed and satisfactory.
