Acme Roofing and Siding far exceeded our expectations. I needed my roof replaced quickly and after meeting with 6 companies and getting 6 estimates we decided to use ACME Roofing & Siding. Acme was not the most expensive, and 2 of the quotes were lower than ACME but vague on details and had poor reviews. The experience with ACME was excellent from start to finish. During the process of installing our roof, the crew was very professional, careful, efficient, friendly and very hard working. They truly cared about the job and wanted to see us completely satisfied with the overall result. Shaun answered any questions we had regarding the installation process be it techniques, materials, preventative maintenance etc. The team arrived on time and got started immediately. It was clear from the beginning that his team works together well and has a well-established process. They were able to complete my new roof, which included a complete tear off, removing the old flashing that had been installed incorrectly, installing new flashing, drip edge, new shingles and ridge vents, in two days. When finished my yard was free of all debris, including roofing nails before they left. After the job was completed, I was shown around my home and Shaun explained everything that was done to the roof with pride in the work showing. What a difference my new roof is compared to the previous one that was on my home when I bought it. I just love my new roof.

I couldn't have chosen a better company to go with. Shaun Poland (the owner) was great to work with. He was straightforward, honest and kept you informed. He cares about you as a customer and bent over backwards to make sure that you were happy. He values what it means to EARN a good reputation. The materials arrived a day early and the 2 workers were able to start the job when they quoted and even with the unexpected wood work around the windows they finished on time. The workmanship was exceptional and the 2 guys were great. They had all of the old debris cleaned up in no time. I am so happy that I went with this company. I have recommended ACME to everyone I know. I would definitely use them again!!

Our experience with ACME Roofing & Siding Co was wonderful.  If everyone performed services as this company did, more people would re-side, remodel etc.  We sought bids from three different companies who were well rated in the area.  All came out to do an initial inspection; only two actually submitted a bid.  From the moment we called ACME, they showed they wanted our business. They submitted a timely bid, and followed up, letting us know they wanted our business.  The quote was not the lowest, but extremely fair for the work performed.  Company included new gutters and shutters in the estimate, as well as replacing some of the wood that was rotted on our house.  We dealt directly with the owner who kept us informed each step of the way.  If there was a delay, he called.  We were never kept wondering about any portion of the project.  He also followed up with his team almost every day they worked on the house.  The workers were timely, professional, and worked extremely hard to finish our home when promised.  Their work is excellent.  People who have seen our home are since we've resided have been very impressed. Thank you ACME Roofing and Siding for the great job.

The whole project was completed in one day as promised, the owner and the foreman kept me informed as to what would happen, what to expect, and what options I would have. Very hard working and disciplined crew, observing the precision and care in which they would lay the sheets of shingles before machine gunning them into place was nifty to see. Clean up was top notch, I've spent the past few days since ridding my property of dandelions and other weeds and haven't come across a single nail or other misc. debris from the job. The owner made the paperwork a breeze which I highly appreciated, so glad everything went so smoothly! I'm also very glad that when I back out of my carport, instead of seeing an old beige roof with a busted tooth or 22 I see an immaculate palace waiting for me when I get home.

We priced several companies to replace the siding on our house and Acme was not only one of the lowest quotes we received, but their customer service far exceeded our expectations!  In fact, we decided to use Acme Roofing to replace the roof and gutters at the same time because they were so affordable!  The owner was extremely knowledgable and professional and was easy to reach when we had any questions.  He was there almost every day to check up on the crew, make sure they had everything they needed to do the job, address any potential "issues", and connect with us.  The crew that did the work was on time, friendly, and worked quickly.  We will without a doubt recommend Acme Roofing to anyone we know.

I was given the name of an estimator for Acme roofing and siding by a co-worker that had dealt with him at his home before.  I contacted Tj, the estimator and set up a time/date for him to come out and go over the house with me.  He arrived at the scheduled time which just happened to be when a competitor was also giving me an estimate.  Tj called and said he would come back at a later time when the other company had left.
Tj came back a day later to do the estimate which was significantly lower than the other company I was talking to earlier.
I agreed to have Acme do the work and signed the contract with Tj that day.  He had brought samples of the product with him and allowed me to select the style and color of siding that I wanted from the samples.  He also left these samples with me that way I could have them in the future if I ever wanted any other work done etc, I would have a reference of the materials used.
Tj delivered the materials at our agreed upon time and informed me of when the crew would be over to start work.  The crew did not arrive on the first scheduled date as they ran into some problems finishing up the prior job.  Tj assured me the work would still be completed in a timely manner as we were pushing the boundary of the weather turning cold.  
The crew arrived for work and went right to work in removing all the old siding.  They were even able to remove some unsightly window sills that were only decorative and flash over the area with new siding.  The crew even showed up on a Sunday with extra workers to get the job done as promised by Tj.
I was very happy with Tj and his crew, they were hard working and Tj was in contact the entire time, checking up on myself and the crew several times a day during the days they were working.  He even personally brought the entire crew food from a BBQ that he was having for his family on one of the weekend days they were working.
I'd be pleased to have Tj do the contracts for any future work needed on my house.

They would cancel things at the last minute or call with only 10 minutes’ notice to say they would be there. I had to wait over a month for them to finish the shed. They kept changing the price after we already signed the agreement. They were rather slow in getting the projects going and I felt they were waiting to find the cheapest materials. The Monday before Thanksgiving he said he’d get the siding up as quickly as possible (they said weather permitting), and finally the Wednesday before Christmas is when the started and the weather was fine but the next day it was pouring and they finished the siding anyway, despite the weather. The insurance company advised that if they were putting the siding and seal on when it was raining, he’d have some doubts about it being completed correctly. I’m worried about the roof because they put it on in only one day. When I pointed out my concerns about the shingles, he was very dismissive about it. I was very displeased overall and would certainly not recommend them.

He did a great job and he has been a wonderful young man. He really bent over backwards and you just don't find that type of service that often. He really understood what I was asking for and I feel this is very important.

Went great. Crew showed up with owner, they got right down to business, put roofs on and the part I liked best was that they cleaned up everything, you couldn't tell they had been there, except we had new roofs. My husband and I were very pleased with the seriousness in which they performed their job.

Shaun Poland, the owner, came out and gave me an estimate, follow-up up and was very professional. He scheduled the work to be done within a week and a half, which was perfect! The job was estimated to take only 1 day, but ended up taking 2 days (22 hours total!) They didn't complain and the 4 roofers worked really hard and did a great job! (I even tipped the guys extra cash for their efforts.) Shaun came out several times and made sure we were happy. All in all, an excellent experience. The price was very reasonable, the job was awesome and ACME Roofing* is highly recommended! *Please note Shaun's company was called '1st Response Roofing & Siding' and this install was his first 'ACME Roofing & Siding Co.' job. I asked about the name change and he said it was for nothing more than to try and have a more universally known name. So, if you read reviews under '1st Response Roofing & Siding' on Angie's List, you will also see glowing reviews.

Four installers worked 22 hours in 2 days and did an excellent job! The owner and supervisor were out to the house periodically to make sure all the work requested was being done (as I asked for several extras) and that my questions and concerns were met. All was very professional and a smooth process! I'd recommend this company to anyone looking for a solid company who stands by their work and cares about their reputation. I was very picky about all the extras due to being a professional in the Architecture/ Engineering field. I even gave the 4 workers a cash bonus to show them how much I appreciated their extra efforts!

The roofing job went very well. There were some problems that they addressed and it went pretty smoothly. I would recommend them to others and use them again in the future.

The two properties Shawn worked on are rental properties. A tenant reported water damage inside the home. I phoned three other roofing companies listed on Angie's List, before I called Shawn. One was supposed to drive by in the next 3 days and never called back; another came out the same day and gave an estimate of 3x's Shawn's; the third company was booked 2 months out. Shawn was very polite, knowledgeable, and very accommodating with my schedule. He drove by the property the same day as my call, gave me a price quote over the phone that same day, and repaired the roof the next day. While inspecting all of the other properties I manage, I noticed shingles missing from the ridge vent of another home in the same neighborhood. Shawn was able to fix the second roof the same day as the first repair. His prices were more than fair. He called the day following the repair to follow up with his work.

They actually showed up before they were supposed to be out. The only problem I had was that they left some nails and plastic trimming behind.

THE JOB IS PRETTY. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. THEY CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND WERE RESPECTFUL OF THE PROPERTY. THE PRICE WAS RIGHT.
