My experience turned out good. The roofer was very knowledgeable about my problem. He still went up on the roof and resolved the issue on a day it was raining.

Everything was successfully repaired and service was timely.

We had a leak in our skylight and Tony sent out Randy who found the issue and fixed it in a timely manner.

Job was done ahead of schedule and in one day. I recommend Tony Newman Roofing and do business with his company again.

We called Tony and he came out the next day for an estimate. We were given a senior discount and Angie's list discount,.He initally told us it would be about 2 weeks to start, but that afternnon, he informed us he could start in 3 days. On Monday, a crew of 5 came out, Tues and Wed, a crew of 3. The crew was a group of very hard working men, who did not waste time. Monday they were here for 10 hours and only took a 1/2 lunch break. They were very careful to cover up shrubbery and cleaned up each evening before they left. They delivered a dumptser on Monday and it was removed Thursday morning. The men were helpful in answering our many questions and were courteous the entire time. This was a company who knew what they were doing! We are very happy with the results. The roof looks great and makes our home look so much better. One hears so many bad stories about roofing companies, but not this one. I would recommend this company to anyone needing a job done, large or small.

I called Tony Saturday Morning and made an appointment for Monday. He was on time and gave me a price for a complete job I asked him to start asap as the roof was leaking. He called on Tuesday and started at 8.30 AM Wednesday. Using a large crew the job was completed in one day. The crew was very professional Every thing was fine,Cleanup was very good.Everything was hauled away. We are happy campers We Highly recommend Tony Newman Roofing

I called Tony's office and left a message. He called me back the next morning and promptly came out to the house to see what needed to be done. He inspected my roof and gutters. Besides the problems I already knew about, he pointed out that my sail stacks had deteriorated and needed to be replaced to prevent water from leaking into my attic. He provided a reasonable estimate and an approximate date for doing the work. He was able to schedule the work for the following week, calling me back to set a day and time that was convenient. He and his workman Eric arrived punctually and were willing to be introduced to our dogs so that they wouldn't bark while the work was done. Eric did the work to a high standard. He did not waste time or make a mess and he answered some questions that I had. Tony stopped by as Eric finished up to make sure I was satisfied (and I was). He answered my questions and offered recommendations about ongoing maintenance. He provided a detailed invoice. I am completely satisfied with the workmanship, the cost, and the entire experience of doing business with Tony Newman Roofing. I recommend him highly and plan to use him for any future roofing and gutter work.

These guys really work hard. It took a single day from basically sunrise to sundown. They did everything specified on the contract and I was really happy with the cleanup job at the end. One end of my house has a low pitch roof that has presented a lot of problems-they covered it with ice and watershield in place of felt paper before they reshingled it. Tony gives Angie's list discounts and took an extra 100.00 off at the end. He's a real pro and runs his business the way I'd hope every contractor would do it-on time, on budget, and lots of communication.

replacing bad wood wasn't in the contract but he did it without charging any extra. They got the job done quickly and it seems to be great quality. Had it all done in 3 days.

They were on time (actually early). It took 2 days for my house to go from yucky roof to GREAT! Our roof had developed the "runny algae look" for the past 10 years. We now have a brand new roof. They fixed a hole near the chimney, and for the first time in over 10 years, no rain came in during the last rain storm. Overall, I highly recommend Tony Newman and his roofers. They worked very hard and fast. Very professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Tony Newman Roofing to anyone. GREAT job!

Excessive snow and ice on roof needed immediate removal. Provider was extremely responsive and came out as soon as weather permitted. They were able to access the roof, remove snow, and then apply caulk to an outside window frame. We are planning for some gutter and ice guard work in the Spring.

The whole process was very smooth. The estimate was prompt and on time. They called before the start day to let us know the weather looked good. Took two days to do the work. The first day was all tear off. They cleaned up the yard after the first day. They started promptly at 8am the next day with the install. Everything was very smooth. His crew was prompt and on time. We had a few rain delays, but other than that everything went well. They arrived and finished the job when they said they would. Everything was cleaned up and back to good as new. The crew was polite, and answered any questions and concerns that I had.

Tony was quick to respond to my call and came out the next morning to check out our roof and give us an estimate. He was very professional and thorough in his assessment. He found a soft spot on the roof where the wood under the shingles was rotting and brought it to our attention. Several days later one of his men came out to do the work. He was friendly, very professional and kept us informed of how things were going. Tony was able to purchase the same shingles that were installed on the roof in 2004 for the repair. The old shingles were removed, rotten would cut out, and new wood and shingles installed. They caulked around our fireplace chimneys, vent pipes and skylight. Carefully removed moss and installed zinc strips to help prevent moss and algae from returning. He removed old, cracked cement from the top of the chimney and recapped it. The work was done well & carefully. All debris was cleaned up & removed. Roof and gutters blown out. He even cleaned the glass on our skylight before finishing. We were very pleased with the work that was done and attention to detail. We would definitely use Tony Newman Roofing again.

First off the work done on my roof was excellent--a professional job from start to finish. I highly recommend Tony and his business for anyone wanting high quality work. I had my roof done only ten years ago, and had such a horrible job done that I just had to start from scratch again. Thanks to Angie's list and learning how to find quality companies, I found TOny Newman and know that I will not have to worry ever again about my roof. The nightmare of what the other roofers did has made me so wary of contractors, but Tony is so upfront and honest, and the work is so great, that I feel so fortunate to finally have had a very good experience with a contractor that ended with high quality work. Tony got back to me within a half hour of me leaving a message. the other places I called took up to three days to return any of my calls. He sent someone out the next day for an estimate. There were a lot of problems (shingles slipping from the roof, no underlying tar paper, a peak not vented (all supposedly done ten years ago), and water was coming into my house everytime it rained. He offered me several options: to just repair the damage now, or have a total tear off and a new roof installed properly. I felt no pressure at all and thought it best to go ahead with a whole new roof--which included everything--at a great price compared to the other estimates I had. Once I said yes--they were there the next day, and worked consistently until it was done in 4 days. The workers (there were 5 for the hardest part and 2 at the end) were polite, efficient, kind, neat, and willingly answered every question i had, constantly showing me what the problems were with the last rook and what they were doing to make the roof perfect. They worked methodically and smartly, doing a section at a time, so my roof was never exposed to rain if it should fall. Each day I could see perfectly what they were doing and how they were doing it. It was a stress free and satisfying to know that finally I was not being taken. To the end each detail was seen to, and I have no sense that anything was rushed or corners cut just to get it done as fast as possible. I finally felt that my problem was their problem as well, and they really wanted to make it right. ANd they did. It is raining now and I have no anxiety about water coming into my house--and if it does Tony has guaranteed his labor for 5 years, znd the shingles for a lifetime. i have met others who have had him work for them and they all say the same thing--that he will do whatever it takes to make it right. The workers left my house outside in better condition that it started, sweeping up every night, protecting my bushes, and leaving the lawn uncluttered. On trash day I came home to find that they even brought my trash can from the curb and put back behind the house!! All in all I am so pleased with how everything went. The highest praise for Tony Newman and his workers who displayed a passion and knowledge about their craft.

He did all that he promised, said it would not leak, and it doesn't. That roof has leaked through two roofs in 27 years, this is the first time that the mission was accomplished. See above for the work that was performed.

Called Tony on his cell and he provided a quote within 30 minutes of my call which was very impressive. I received three quotes and he had the best price. Work was completed within his estimated time. Excellent craftsmanship, professionalism and customer service skills. Refreshing to find someone like Tony. Does what he says he will do, is honest and an excellent communicator.

I called Tony and set up an appointment for an estimate on a tear off and a complete new roof. A few days later he showed and measured the roof and told me what he would do and the shingle he would use. Before I called anyone I had read the Consumer Reports Roofing Buying Guide to get a little background on something I knew little about. Tony recommended owens corning oakridge Brownwood laminate shingles. That was the brand and color I wanted, this shingle is a Consumer Reports Best Buy. Tony is a preferred contractor for owens corning. The shingles would be nailed not stapled, nailing is a superior installation method. His proposal with the Angies List Discount was a no brainer. Three and half weeks later Tonys crew arrived got set up and got going .These guys were friendly but professional and they were to work. In two days the old roof was off the new one was on and the area around the house was cleaned up. They even painted the two white bathroom roof vent pipes brown, nice touch. One other plus no loud music blasting while the the job was in progress. The roof looks great, the house looks great, I couldn't be more pleased. I would recommend Tony Newman Roofing to a friend. The only way you can tell they were here is my new roof and the sign in the front yard.

Other contractors did not call me back for weeks and never came around to look at he roof for months. Tony and I talked about the roof and possible scenarios, he gave me a reasonable estimate and I chose him to do the work. His crew was terrific, you could tell they enjoyed their work. I was impressed by how well they worked together. I've been a manager/supervisor for over 20 years so I know how bad it can be when people don't work well together. These guys were professional, pleasant, and courteous. There was a problem and Tony talked to me about it. He didn't push anything on me but gave me the information I needed and let me make the decision that was best for me. When they were done you would never have known that I had had roofing all over the place. They did a great clean up job. This is a great crew and I would recommend them highly to anyone needing a new roof.
