It went GREAT! Crew, Frank & John, were amazing. They had the entire inside completed including trim on day 1. Day 2 was outside trim. They cleaned up everything, including vacuuming, & hauled away old stuff. I didn't find one shred of anything when they left...very professional & knowledgeable .... Just awesome!

They were phenomenal; there was only one installer because his partner had retired the day before he was scheduled to come out. The man who came out did meticulous work. He was here all day and make sure that everything was covered with plastic where he walked and the covered up doorways with plastic so no dust would get anywhere then he vacuumed everything. I had people stop me in the street and ask me who did my windows because my windows look good. ?He was meticulous and I?ve notice my cooling bills have gone down. ?The best part about it is that I ordered a specific glaze and they called me back and told me ?it was impossible to get the glaze color I wanted so they upgraded my windows to the best windows I had at no extra cost. I?ve told anyone who needs windows to only deal with Window Nation. I got a very fair price, top notch service and a warranty that will transfer when I sell my house.

The whole process from the original consultation with the salesman to the installation process was done in a timely, efficient, and professional manner. We had our new windows installed less than one month from the date we signed the contract. We have already noticed the quality of the windows by the quietness and warmth in the house!

Window Nation installed a bay window for me in approx April 2015. I am very happy with the window so when I needed to have a door/frame replaced I called them. The salesman I spoke with early in the year was on vacation. The other salesman was apparently alone in the office. Twice we scheduled time for him to give me an estimate, and twice he cancelled referring me to his website and telling me he has no door samples anyway. When I deal with a company to do home work, I like to deal with a person face-to-face. It seems that my business is not important to them so I did not order from them, and will not in the future. I expressed this to the corporate person who called a few weeks ago asking if I have any more projects for them to give me estimates.

Great, smooth experience. Ordering was easy and installation was great. The installers were courteous and cleaned up after.

They used high pressure sales techniques to try and get me to commit to buy when I clearly stated that I was going to get multiple quotes prior to making a decision.

Everything went pretty well. The only problem I have is the windows I purchased did not have flip locks on them. So in my lower level, I have to make sure my windows are locked anytime I leave the house or go to bed. The piece of wood method won't work because a thief can simply pull the window from the other side. It is frustrating that the sales associate forgot to mention this. Now my families safety is in jeopardy because of a few extra dollars. I would have paid extra for this, but a customers safety should never be sacrificed. The windows are nice, and the installation was great, but again the safety should be the main focus. I am pretty sure nothing can be done now because my windows are already installed. I just hope next time the sales associate puts safety at the forefront and not getting the sale.

I just had my windows and patio door replaced. Process was very smooth, everyone from the company was very professional, always on time. From estimate, measuring, scheduling and the actual installation - whole process was A plus. Great follow from the beginning to the end. Installation was actually scheduled couple weeks earlier then originaly promised, installers were working non- stop from the minute they arrived till they were done, cleaned up outside and inside areas, very friendly. Another person from Window Nation visited same day to make sure that everything is going well and also sales person called me that day to follow up to see if I am happy with everything. Overall this was very good experience and I would highly recommend Window Nation! Great job!

Do you remember Mikey from Regency windows? Well, the guys who own this company are his two sons. If that's not enough of a review considering the reputation of Regency in Northeast Ohio then read on. I live in Aurora which is near their Twinsburg location so I see their signs and advertisements constantly. I've got 38 double hung wood windows that should be replaced so I decided to get a few estimates before the winter. I called window nation and naturally I'm dealing with a call center in Maryland? Apparently the company that bought Regency had a non compete clause so when it expired this company opened its headquarters far enough away from the purchasing company that they would not be in violation of their non compete. This information was provided to me by my salesperson during our visit. We also discussed at length the sleazy nature of Regency and its horrible reputation in Northeast Ohio. In case you forgot this was that guy that would scream at you on the TV about $189 double hung windows installed!!!!!!!!!!!! Most people were very dismayed to learn that there was no such thing and the salesperson would basically tell you that you are a cheap poor consumer if you went with their entry-level window so it was nothing but a bait and switch. These models don't last very long because people catch on and their phone stopped ringing so advertising is pointless. Back to window nation, they sent out a very nice and well-informed salesman who is there to do his job which was so me vinyl replacement windows. That was the first problem? I asked the person in the call center if they sell wood windows and they told me that they did. I could not have been any clearer about it and I was assured that they sell all windows. In reality they sell a cheesy faux wood finish if that's what you want. If you want actual wood windows your out of luck. So this guy is completely wasting my time however he's here and I might as well listen to what he has to say. They seem to make a reasonably nice window if that's what you want however $1500 a piece is laughable. I mean literally laughable. I had two other estimates and the one I decided to go with came out to be a little over $450 per window installed! Or less than the third of what window nation quoted me. Just so I'm being clear, I'm an educated consumer and this is not my first rodeo? I bought replacement windows in the past and I did my homework. I have no doubt that this company will respond to this post however in less it's the salesman who is physically here their words are meaningless. I did not opt for a an inferior window for a third of the price. That is usually the go to line for most window companies when you complain about their cost versus their competitors. These are identical in almost every way and the company manufacturing the window has been in business since 1950 in Farmington Hills Michigan. Here's the bottom line, in my opinion, based on my experience, the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. This is nothing but Regency window with a shiny new name. Sales tactics are little different in the person I dealt with was a real gentleman however they are outrageously expensive considering their advertised pricing. It is bewildering to me that you can see an ad for a replacement window costing only a few hundred dollars and that turning into a $1500 proposition because you want it in a color other than white? Notwithstanding the foregoing, I am able to replace nine windows with a better quality product for less than half of what they quoted me for five windows. My advice to any Angie's list member reading this review is not to contact the companies that you see advertising like crazy?. Who do you think is paying for that advertisement?

A representative from Windows Nation was soliciting the neighborhood for replacement windows. I agreed to have a sales person come out and provide a quote for windows. We scheduled an appointment with my wife and I both available for the presentation as required by Window Nation. I found this somewhat strange to require both present. The salesman showed as scheduled. As soon as he arrived I informed him that my wife was not available due to an unexpected call. The salesman seemed very knowledgeable about the windows and had a rather lengthy presentation. We then walked around the house. We had 14 double hung windows and a 4ft x 8ft picture window to replace. The options were explained and I requested the quote to be broken down with the options explained. We were uncertain if we wanted internal woodgrain and exterior color. I CLEARLY requested the options to be broken out in the quote. Since my wife was not available the salesman made another appointment to return and present the quote when we were both available. This seemed a little ridiculous as I will make the final decision on purchasing the windows. If the options are broken down then my wife and I could easily decide on what we want in the windows and make a decision together. The salesman returned and began the presentation with? I have a special coupon that will save you allot of money? I requested that I just wanted to see the quote as prepared without a lengthy deal presentation. The quote was scribbled on a 8 ½ x 11 piece of yellow notebook paper. NO breakdown of the options just one price. What was really in the quote? Only he knew. He the said the price for the 14 windows was $11,000 [ I don?t remember the exact number as I was in shock]. He did not even include the cost of the big picture window as requested! I told the sales man politely that his price was way out of line. I had a quote from several other large, reputable window suppliers with similar windows and the other supplier quote was 60% of Window Nations. He proceeded to became upset, packed his bag up and left without any clarification or negotiating at all. I have been in product design and engineering for many years. Included in my duties was purchasing of expensive equipment. If a vendor had presented a quote in the magnitude of $11,000 on a scribbled piece of paper he would be immediately shown to the front door. If you are looking for windows please do your research and get several quotations from reputable window suppliers. A great site that provides many evaluations of windows and some of the pitfalls to look out for: "Thewindowdog.com" This site has an incredible amount of information and how to approach window buying. I did not use window nation so I can not comment on the quality or the workmanship of the windows and installation.

Can't say enough about our experience with Window Nation so far. We spoke with several companies at the home show over the winter and they were the most willing to work with our conflicting schedules for appointments. Salesperson (Shawn) was very professional, put us at ease and knew the windows he was selling. He was quick to respond to issues - 4 of our windows were beyond the size of the windows we selected - he quickly got us into an upgraded window for those with no extra cost to us and made the ordering/contract phase pretty easy. We had no idea what to expect with installation. We were replacing original windows (house built in 1954). I was a tad OCD about making sure I had followed guidelines to be ready for the installers so I don't know if that factored or not but the install was almost uneventful! We had tested positive for lead paint around the windows and I assumed that would limit our access to the house during the install but even with 2 active dogs, we really had no issues. It took 2 days to do all 17 windows but they were done before noon on the second day. Installers couldn't have been more courteous and they were GOOD at what they do! Our house looks and feels new. We're only into week 2 with the windows (Envision with the 4 larger ones being Imperial) and couldn't be happier. Looking forward to lower heating bills this winter and no more taking screens out and putting storm windows in anymore!

The experience was fine. They called me the hour before their arrival. They took off their shoes and put down a lot of tarps to keep the carpet clean. They were quiet. it took a little over 3 and half hours. When they were done, they picked up after themselves and vacuumed. It was perfect and I am happy. I didn't get a second estimate because I compared with a neighbor's estimate that had a similar setup that was with a different company. It was pleasant and quick.

Also the wood veneer window had huge ugly seams which could not be changed much. They offered me a good price, but not worth it. sorry

The installation process went very well. The installers arrived exactly when they told us they would. They were very professional, and quickly removed the old windows and installed the new ones. They were friendly, very helpful in explaining how to use the windows. We were pleased that the process took less time than expected. They left everything neat and clean. We were well-pleased.

First of all there are a million window companies out there! Not really, but there is a lot to select from. Friends recommended Window Nation and then a salesman was canvasing our neighborhood so we made an appointment. I studied the reviews on Angie's List and other sources and they looked a good starting point. Jeremy came for the appointment and it was 3 hours long but very informative. There was no haggling on the price and he did a thorough job explaining their products and warranty. I liked the transferrable warranty and the energy efficiency of the new windows. And we were going to be able to match all the oak woodwork that is in our home. So measurements were taken, money exchanged and we waited for installation. Our installers came early the first day. There were brothers- Jeremy (not related to the salesman Jeremy) and Corey. They were the best! Very efficient, respectful of our house and even liked our little dog. They replaced all 26 windows and our patio door in 2 days. They thoroughly cleaned up every day and I cannot say enough good things about the job they did. Now that the windows are in, we will keep an eye on everything and call them back if needed. So far so good but they just finished yesterday! Window Nation is a local company that employs local people and helps to support our economy. So I know where to find them if I do have any issues in the future with all of these new wonderful windows.

The salesman was on time when he came. That was a huge plus having just told another company I didn't want to do business with them after they cancelled 20 minutes after their salesman was supposed to come. Prices were competitive. A few days after I signed the deal, a measuring rep from the actual manufacturer came and did the measurements. Less than 2 weeks later I was called to schedule installation. The installers were punctual and took half the expected time to do the job. Their work was well done. My only "gripe" (and I consider it minor) is that they didn't do a good job cleaning up....one installer actually stepped ON my sofa to get over it (we could have moved it more to accommodate him) and I found a couple of nails in my driveway after they'd left.

They were very nice and were recommended by everybody.

Oue sales representative, Doug Lippitt was extremely knowledgeable and his presentation blew the competitors out the window. He did not put any pressure on us as did some other competitors. Our installers (Jim & Rachel) arrived on schedule. The were courteous and displayed the professionalism that we were expecting. Once the installation was completed, Jim gave us a demostration on how to operate our new windows. My wife and I were very impressed with the entire process. We will definitely use Window Nation in the future. Thank you!

The salesperson came on time & measured the windows. He presented very well but, once he was told that I would be getting other estimates, he wasn't as friendly. Window Nations estimate is not consistant with the other estimates I have received. I will not be using Window Nations.

I called twice and no one returned my calls.

I am updating my earlier review after speaking to the Regional Sales Mgr. It appears that during the setup of the Sales Person accounts email, voice mail etc, the Computer Administrators may have entered some of the information incorrectly which delayed the delivery of my Quote and the communication that was being provided by Window Nation and its representatives. As one who works in the Information Technology for a International Company I understand how many downstream issues are caused by not "Dotting the I's or Crossing the T's" when setting up a new employee. After speaking in Length with the Regional Sales Mgr about what delayed my Quote, how the sales process and discounts are applied and offered I felt much more comfortable about the "Act Now" offer made by my salesman. I have gotten 1 other Quote from a competitor of Window Nations and I have to say the Presentation, Education, Professionalism I got from Window Nation surpassed that of it first Competitor to provide a Quote. For those of you reading this I want to add that my considerations are broken out into 3 area, 1.) Product (it's quality) 2.) Professionalism (From receptionist through cleanup crew) 3.) Price. Knowing everything goes into number 3 I am willing to Pay more for the first 2. It took only a few Hours after hanging up the Phone with the Regional Sales Mgr to get my Quote and to realize that my experience was a result of the "Information Technology Perfect Storm". I still am waiting on one other quote and working the Project Numbers and hope to be able to compare he quotes and make a decision before grilling season starts. I want to again Thank the salesman, Regional Sales Mgr for displaying they are committed to customer satisfaction, follow up and follow through even if I don't go with Window Nation.

The install team was scheduled to install over a 4-5 day period. The first issue was the install was not going to operate as Jim Loder indicated. He indicated the install would work on a room at a time (or 2 rooms at a time if two crews were used). The install didn't go that way - they did the front of the house - thus opening multiple rooms to the elements but not completing half those rooms (those rooms with windows on the side or back of the house). More importantly the morning after the install we noticed their new windows exhibited the same condensation problem as the old windows (some of those old windows were still in the same room as the new windows so side-by-side comparison was easy). The person heading up the install crew explained that condensation had very little to do with windows. It was primarily driven by humidity inside the house and given we had a whole-house humidifier we should turn it down. He suggested some places to look on line and sure enough there were charts showing how humidity levels had to be reduced as temperatures went down. We talked and everyone agreed the best approach was to go 3 days with humidity down but without moving forward on the install. Sure enough the next few days (one of which went to negative digits) we saw no condensation on the old or the new. At this point we felt that Jim had misrepresnted the windows as being the solution to our problem. They weren't. The zero-cost turn down of our humidifier was the solution. We spoke with Joe Tripi - their Director of Operations. We explained that the windows that were sold on the promise of being a fix to the problem had no affect on the problem - they suffered from the same problem. Until we addressed the root cause. We felt that we were mislead into buying $24,000 worth of windows we didn't need. Joe Trippi's response was we signed the contract and were legally obligated to the full contract. We tried suggesting finishing only the $12,000 worth of installs we had already paid for (had to pay 1/2 down). They refused. Bottom line - the product did not do what the salesman said it would do. And, in fact, it became evident after talking with the install team and researching that the whole problem was a humidifier issue not a window issue at all. Given that Window Nation basically sells the same products as other retailers in the area it would be impossible to recommend them as a service provider. We were obviously very dismayed to be mislead into spending $24,000 that didn't need to be spent and didn't address our problem in the slightest. We are currently waiting for them to notify us of when they will resume the installation - an installation we don't want or need but were naive enough to believe the sales person.

The appointment was set up for Saturday at 9 AM. The sales man showed up on time with, several science project type, items such as heat lamps and a duffel bag full of " extra items". The extra items he saves for later and pull them out for samples of what he call "up grades". Of course with the requirement that my wife had to be home ( that's for the hard closing ). Fortunately for my wife and I, we had already gotten 3 other estimates of comparable windows for other local small companies. These estimates ranged from $6,000 to $8,000, with the variation being what type of bay window we wanted. We had 7 sliders and one large bow window. OK now, after enduring a long drawn out sales pitch, here comes the price. The first price he gave us was $23,000 installed out the door. Well, I was drinking my coffee and just about choked on it. (the coffee and the price) I will say the price was also based on items the we "opted in for," like the 25 year caulk instead of the lesser expensive 1 year caulk. ( so lets see .... I'm spending 23 K on windows gee what caulk should I pick... 1 year ... 25 year... anyone... anyone...) Oh yes and other things, like an upgraded spacer, because we didn't want the junkie one, Argon gas, I actually can't recall the entire list of so called extras ... you know.... things that you would expect to come - standard - with any good window. So after we told the sales man that the price seemed a little high ( not mentioning that we had other estimates) he decides to call his boss and if we signed today and today only, he would get a special one time, unheard of, low price for us. He called - and just like magic - the price dropped to $13,000. Wow I thought I was at WalMart. It was the blue light special. So he got the boot. I would highly recommend getting several estimates from different size companies.
