Precision Overhead Garage Door

Paul was timely, courteous, quick, but thorough. He was pleasant to deal with, even though it was the end of the day and it was probably below zero with the wind coming into the garage. As great as Paul was, this is what I've come to expect from this company. Throughout my dealings with them, they have been uniformly polite, knowledgeable, excellent communicators, and even funny! In short, I would highly recommended Precision to anyone needing any work with their automatic garage door.

The company provides photographs of all their technicians on their website. They follow up both online and with a phone call to confirm the appointment and to let you know who the technician will be. Both technicians called me to tell me they were on the way. Both greeted me with a smile, an introduction and a handshake. They both presented themselves as people who knew their business and were pleased to be doing their jobs. I was impressed with the quality of their product, the swiftness they were able to respond to my needs, the price and the completeness of their project. There was no mess when they left. This is a very professional company who clearly takes customer service seriously.

They did what they were supposed to do relative to the offer for maintenance. I had another problem which was not indicated or covered by the promotion so it really was in vane. Not their fault though!

Matt arrived on time. This was the second time he came out. The first time when he pressed the remote the door came down and worked fine. He told me to call back if it happened again. This was on Wednesday of this week. It happened again on Thursday morning(12/12/13) I called Precision and asked that Matt come back out to fix the sensor. He was very professional and was done in a few minutes.

Seriously, this company is THE BEST and when I am ready to get a new garage door they will be the ones I call. On Saturday the 30th I prepared to leave the house but neither my garage door opener nor my portable opener worked so I couldn't leave! Not good! I called Precision Door and spoke to Megan who was very professional and helpful and a LIVE person. She said that yes they could look at the opener and fix it if that was possible. We scheduled for 2-5 on that afternoon - SAME DAY SERVICE - NO EXTRA CHARGE! Well, about a couple of hours later (10:30 or so) the technician Jason called (LOVE Jason) and remembered he had been at my house a few weeks back (for a completely different garage door issue)and we chatted for a minute and he asked me if I was home and if I was he could be to me in about 25 minutes. Sure enough in about 20 minutes he was at the door. He went right to work. He discovered by garage opener on the wall was not affixed properly and the wires were loose as well. He fixed them. He also discovered that the overhead opener had some loose wires and he fixed them too! He then re-programmed the remote openers, said happy holidays and was out the door. For NO CHARGE! ZERO! NOTHING! Now how amazing is that! Truly a most competent, professional and customer service driven organization with the absolute best technicians I have seen in a long time. Jason is a gem - don't let him get away!

They came out on very short notice, got my car out, straightened the track, and didn't try to sell me a whole new garage door!

I was impressed with the high ratings the company received from customers in my area. I called for help at 9:30am and talked to very pleasant and professional customer service representative named Allison. Allison was able to schedule an appointment that day and gave me a reasonable time window when to expect my technician, Al Flemming. The e-mail I received from the company before my appointment was great. I was able to see a picture of my technician coming to my house in a few hours and read a quick bio. I liked learning a little about Al and how he enjoys his time with his kids (I found this reassuring - believe it or not). Al came to the house right on time, was professional and walked me through what needed done and the price breakdown - all reasonable and easy to understand; no games. Al repaired all the moving parts to the door, including the spings that snapped. The work was completed very quickly (30 minutes). First thing I noticed was how quiet the door opened and closed - amazing. All around, great experience especially considering I called with my problem at 9:30am and was fixed by 2:40pm that day!!! Great joband will be recommending to everyone I know!!!

My garage door completely broke before I was able to have it serviced. I ended up not being able to use this deal because of needing the full repair. It was a great deal though and would look to this provider in the future when service is needed.

Another stellar report for this provider from me - it's my second. At 5:30 Sunday night my garage door was not working. I called Precision and a REAL LIVE PERSON answered the phone. I am sorry I don't recall her name but she was very nice, courteous and professional. She offered a repairman to come that night between 9 and midnight. Also, there is no extra charge for emergency weekend service! I declined and made an appmt for today, Monday, between 8 and 11 a.m. At about 8:10 a.m. Jason Schwarz called and after identifying himself said he would be to me in about 25 minutes. He pulled up 20 minutes later. I recognized him from the company website where all their technicians have a photo displayed so you know who is coming - what a great idea! Jason was happy, smiling and had a firm hand shake as he asked me what the problem was. I brought him to the garage and showed him the issue. I told him I could not afford to get a new garage door right now and asked him to do what he could to fix the issue short of a new door. He smilingly told me he would take a look and let me know what he found. About 10 minutes later he said the cables were needing to be replaced along with the lower brackets. He showed me why he should not use the old brackets and that they would probably just fall apart even if he did get them apart to clean/re-use them. He told me it would be $200 or so. I asked him about the coupon on line that the service charge would be waived if I had a $100+ service call. He said yes that's right and he deleted the service charge line on the spot. I told him that I didn't have a printer to print the coupon at the moment and he said no problem he would note that in his records. He finished up the job, checked operation of the door 3 or 4 more times, took my check and was on his way. It took a little over half an hour. Jason, just like the last service person who came in May for another issue, was very knowledgeable and very professional. And he was HAPPY apparently to be doing his job. I will continue to recommend Precision to everyone. Impeccable customer service from the first contact is a really big deal to me so thank you Jason and the young lady on the phone on Sunday night. Keep up the good work.

Excellent, prfessional- unconditional recommend...

The work was competed just a few minutes ago. They were right on time, and in fact, were very cooperative in calling me when they were 20 minutes away and again when they arrived. They were very cordial and professional, explaining carefully what was needed and why. They clearly conveyed what the cost would be, as well as the warranty. The work was done very quickly, and they again went over what they did and showed me all. They even advised me on some maintenance I could do myself not directly related to the work they had done. I couldn't be more pleased at this point.

This was excellent. Their overall knowledge about the door and work was impressive. I had them replace rollers and made it quieter. I did not feel pressured into buying a whole new door system since they could just replace parts. Getting the appointment set up was pretty easy and they were responsive to my calls. I just feel like they were an excellent company to use and will be calling them when it is time to replace the door.

Very good experience. Woke up one morning to go to work and a cable had broken so I had to manually open my double garage door. Checked Angie's List and called Precision Overhead Door by 8:30am. Set up appointment for 3pm, but the repairman called me at 10:30 and said he could come earlier, so we met at my house at 11am. He reviewed the entire door and all the parts, then made recommendations on what needs to be fixed, and then what could/should be fixed. I ended up buying a package that replaced all the door hardware - cables, springs, rollers, etc., plus I had been wanting to replace my Opener anyway, so I purchased a beautiful, quiet belt drive opener, complete with two remote openers and an outside key entry pad. Installer was polite, professional, clean, and knew his job. It has been 2.5 months now and everything works great. I'm sure you can find less expensive overhead door repair shops, but, to me, Precision is worth it for the quality and professionalism.

He was not informed by his boss that he was suppose to do the said work.. But he was very responsive to our needs.

Prompt, professional and polite. The technician explained what he was doing and the different things he noticed about the opener and the door condition. Recommended a new opener, installed it and a new key-less entry too.

This was not a pleasant experience. When he found out that it was a rental property things changed. He said the rollers they have wouldn't fit my door. He was really pushing for a sell. He said I needed a whole new garage door when I only needed a tune up.

They showed up on time. I was pleased with them.

My garage door was damaged behind help on May 30th and my car was trapped inside the garage. I called them the morning of the 31st pretty early. They gave me an appointment time and the man showed up even earlier. He managed to disassemble it and haul it away and did the job quickly.

I purchased a Big Deal for this service. I called to set up the appointment, at 1st they set it up for the same day. There was a scheduling conflict. They contacted me to set up another appointment. The repairman called to say he was on his way and would be arriving within 15 minutes. He arrived as stated. Inspected my garage door that is 12 years old. When he finished he notified me that my garage door was cracked along the top where I couldn't see it. He added a brace to it so it would have extra support. Also informed me the lifting arm was installed incorrectly. He corrected that ,replaced the rollers and lubricated all the moving parts. He was finished within 30 minutes from his arrivial. The repairman was prompt and very polite.

They came out soon after we called and even came a little earlier which was great for us. They called to see if it was OK. They worked quickly and efficiently and the job was great. I liked them on their Facebook page and got $10. off and a free lube for doing so. There was also an Angie's list discount. Very pleased.

It seemed like a high price to me, but I have full confidence in the door. We did have a few problems - the first tech came out and didn't have the right part. The second tech installed some of the hardware the wrong way. However, any problems were rectified. They were very conciencious, knowledgeable, and dilligent. They also came out the next day after I called. They were outstanding in terms of responsiveness!

Everything done fine. Had to recall them when I did not receive word on the molding which they said had to be ordered for the following week. They came out & finished the work. Did good job.

Service guys were very professional, gave us options, and reasonable prices. Work performed promptly. Hired for 2 different houses, would hire again.

The two workers could not figure out how to get the electric mechanism to reprogram so that the auto-door opener would work. It was not their fault, by any means. But it was disappointing that they didn't have the knowledge to do so. Other than that, they were good to work with.
