JEROME PLUMBING

I originally contacted Jerome Plumbing to complete the instation of new kitchen faucet based on a good experience a friend had with this company. They did excellent work! It was a bit more expensive than the estimates I looked at on the Internet but the plumber found some leaks in the drains and had to replace those as well. All in all, the price was not out of line.
The home we have has well water which is extremely corrosive to the copper pipes and anything else in the water system. It was great to learn that Jerome Plumbing worked with someone who knows a great deal about wells, well water, etc. It seemed that the pressure switch needed to be replaced but so did the expansion tank and the surrounding copper pipes which had been leaking. Mr. Jerome had his well specialist come out and I was given a quote for two parts of the project. Mr. Jerome and I miscommunicated concerning what I wanted to be completed: I wanted the majoritiy of the work done but thought I could hold off on the second part. Mr. Jerome felt that he told me that both parts needed to be done, one couldn't be done without the other. So, the entire projejct was completed - very quickly and nicely with wonderful results. When the bill came, I was surpised that it was for the entire project so Mr. Jerome and I talked about it. No one got upset and it didn't turn into a and quot;he said, she saidand quot; situation. I came up with a compromise to pay for half of what I thought was the second part, the part that I thought didn't have to be done right away. Mr. Jerome accepted that.
I will definitely work with Jerome Plumbing again. They are good, polite, provide excellent service. I think Mr. Jerome and I will agree that from now on a written, detailed quote is the first step.

They put in new pvc pipe and replaced parts in a faucet. I was very impressed.

I called Jerome Plumbing concerning a toilet that was really clogged. Steve agreed to meet me at the property that very afternoon after I got off work even tho it would be after hours. He was very prompt. He arrived on time, with a friendly greeting and ready to work. How refreshing. Steve made several attempts to snake my toilet but was unable to get the snake through the bowl. He discussed the next course of action and cost. He was willing to come out the next day to pull the toilet to see if the clog could be removed that way but I had to work all weekend. We agreed that he would come out early Tuesday, which was my next day off. Once again Steve was on time and went straight to work . The clog seemed to be a deoderant stick that had really wedged itself tight and could not be removed. Believe me, he tried! The only thing left was to replace the toilet. He went to Home Depot, picked out a comperable toilet and installed it. The whole experience was quick and painless. There was no mess left behind. The only way we knew he had been there is that now we have a working toilet. This is a really good company and I very highly recommend them.

I've been using Steve Jerome Plumbing for over ten years to clean out drain lines, replace toilets, and fix by basement shower. I've always been very happy with his work, and the one time there was an issue, he responded quickly and explained how to fix the problem. I've only used one other plumber in over 1o years and that was to clean out the sewer main of tree roots. Steve Jerome doesn't do sewer main cleaning but the plumber that he recommend did a good job and was a professional.

Thanksgiving night, a water pipe burst in the basement. Even after turning off the water main, it continued to leak at an alarming rate. We've been customers of Steve Jerome for several years, so we immediately called (left a message), e-mailed, and completed an internet service request for service first thing Friday morning--we were fine for the night and we didn't want him to have to ruin his holiday. We had responses in less than an hour!
Bright and early Friday morning, the repair was being done. Not only was a re-weld necessary, but the regulator that adjusts the pressure from the street to the house had to be removed and re-installed.
We feel so lucky to be able to consider Steve and quot;our plumberand quot;. We're planning to do some extensive home renovations and look forward to his business being part of the project.

I've been using Steve for many years for everything from replacing an outdoor spigot to digging up my slab foundation to lay a sewer line for a new half-bath in my most recent project with him. I have always been extremely pleased with his work and cannot recommend him highly enough. Steve is always prompt, he does great work, and his price is very reasonable.

The plumber was very knowledgeable of our sinks and toilets. Asked if I wanted to fix the other toilet in our home and he showed me how to determine if it was near failure. He completed the second toilet. He repaired the kitchen sink noticing it had been installed with hardware that did not allow you to tighten it properly, so he changed that. He also discovered another leak that I knew I had, but not sure where it was. Most importantly not only did he check his own work, he checked neighboring areas to make sure that another problem was not looming, I was very impressed.

I called Sunday night with an emergency water heater leak at my rental. Steve responded within 2 hours and, while respecting earlier commitments, fit me into his schedule for the next day.when he ran a bit late due to his earlier jobs, he called promptly to inform me of delay. Replacement was done promptly and professionally.

Arrived on time. Did the job quickly. Clean and tidy.

Steve came and diagnosed the cause of water backing into our basement during heavy rains and proposed a simple solution. He made an appointment, came punctually and finished the job quickly and professionally. We would certainly use him again.

It was like a repair job should be. The location of the work was not at my home so it was nice that Steve was on time. He performed the work just as described. He was neat and professional.

They came out a couple of times and I think they are great. I think their prices are very reasonable and they are also trustworthy.

He was referred to us by a family member who is a contactor. So we trusted him and he s never done anything to dissolve that trust. He returns phone calls promptly. He comes out when he says he will come out and the workers are nice. We like the company.

They were very professional. They came in, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it. We were happy because they fixed it which is the most important thing. They gave an estimate, which was reasonable.

They always respond to calls and show up right on time.

I have used them in the past and have been happy. His prices are reasonable. I am very happy with their work. They have a very quick response.

Arrive promptly as scheduled. Very courteous and knowledgeable. Answered all questions. Took of shoes before walking through the house.

They arrived when they said they would, were very polite and cleaned up after themselves. I have used them before and will not hesitate to use them again.

Played phone tag for a few days, but they continued to try and reach me even after the weekend. Arrived when they said they would. Seemed unhappy that the job was not as simple as they might have hoped, but they kept at it and finished the job with the exception of the electrical work that needed to be done to install the Instant Hot. They didn't tell us in advance that there would need to be additional work on the electric.

HE WAS VERY RESPONSIVE, CAME OUT THAT DAY AND GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE. REPLACED THE WATER HEATER THE NEXT DAY. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH HIS WORK AND WILL USE HIM AGAIN. GOOD CLEAN UP AND TOOK EVERYTHING AWAY.
