Superb; they were on time and ended up doing the work under warranty for no charge - the warranty had actually expired 10 days earlier while we were on vacation, but Gorjanc voluntarily honored the warranty since we were out of town on the actual expiration. Clean, neat, courteous.

It was time for my yearly AC check-up. I made the appointment-within the same week and month-she let me choose my time range and gave me a call 1/2 hour before the tech arrived. Todd was on time, courteous and professional. As the check-up evolved Todd explained the various problems (all stemming from the initial installation which was not done by Gorjanc) and why they needed repair. He also installed and explained how to use the new thermostat. I am very pleased with the service I have received with Gorjanc. As far as I'm concerned they are the best!

The experience was a joy from start to finish. I was very upset about losing the use of my well (no tap water, no water to flush toilets, no nothing.) John was very reassuring and extremely competent. Even when they had to go somewhere else to get the new cable, he promised I would have water by the end of the day, and I did. I couldn't be more pleased with the job they did and would recommend them to anybody. I have since hired them for extensive plumbing repairs inside my house, as well as furnace and air conditioning work. All of the people they have sent have been professional, knowledgeable, and leave everything clean and tidy after themselves. I also appreciate that they bring to my attention anything they find that may not be up to code so that I can get it fixed and feel safe in my house.

The installation of the heat pump didn't go as smoothly. They had a difficult time getting a breaker switch that would fit our electrical panel, even though the panel was new in 2000. I don't think this was their fault. They kept trying & finally got one that worked. We also had a problem with the temperature sensor that controls whether the heat pump or the furnace comes on (above a set temp, the heat pump comes on, below that temp, the gas furnace). The heat pump is located on the south side of our house & where ever they put it, the sun would cause the temperature to read high, so the heat pump would want to come on even when the temperature was below 20 degrees if the sun was shining. Finally a new tech came out and rerouted the sensor to the south side of the house & it has worked flawlessly since. The heat pump was installed pretty close to the house. They city building department said it was OK, but I still would have rather had it out farther.

They serviced and cleaned 3 of the units. They informed me that there were 2 furnaces I would need to replace. Then even told me that one was so dangerous not to even use it. They wrote me an estimate of about $16,000. I called 2 other companies to get estimates who told me only minor repairs would need to be made. I thought there opinion to be misleading and tried to sell me something that I would not need.

Very well. Our old furnace went out completely on Wednesday. On Saturday they installed a new one. It was an all-day job and the technicians were professional and efficient. There were a few minor problems and someone came out Sunday to correct them all.

When I called to make the appointment, I inquired about the cost of the service to be performed. She mentioned that they had a $20 coupon and that she would give the discount. I am glad she did because the day after the service call I received the coupon in the mail. Ben, the service technician, verified that I was satisfied with the performance of the furnace. I said I was having trouble getting the door closed on the electronic air cleaner. He fixed the alignment of the unit and had me test it to be sure it worked for me. Made a recommendation to install a UV Oxidation air cleaner. Also noticed that we have our water heater set as high as it could go in order to get hot water and gave me the options available to replace it.

Scheduled service for Saturday afternoon. Service tech phoned that he was on another emergency job and unable to estimate when he would be here. He appeared at 7 PM. He had been on a dirty job and was thoughtful enough to shower and change prior to coming to my house. He inspected the furnace, etc. and said he could replace the valves but could not work on the furnace and the charge would be $675. I thought that was a high estimate and he said he would speak with the owner on Monday and see if there could be an adjustment in the price. However, I did not hear from him on Monday.
