They had it done within the next day. She took the car to them and boom! it was done. I give them an "A". Everything was fine. My wife was happy.

Overall it went extremely well. They came and gave us a quote and we agreed with it. It didn’t take very long for them to come back with the finished product. The men who installed it were very good and they cleaned up after themselves. They made minimal damage to the frames so we didn’t have to paint them again. I think they did an incredibly good job.

They came out the same day we called them to measure the windows, ordered the glass and called us on a Friday (about a week after measuring the glass) to put the new glass in on Monday. Since it wasn't an emergent job, that was fine with us. We did need someone available from 8am-5pm to meet the tech to put the glass in when he got there. They called ahead to let us know he was on his way--which also worked out fine for us. Mike put the glass in, was very polite and answered any questions we had. We're happy to say they'll give a 10 yr warranty on the work and we will tell all our friends to call Glass Doctor. Thanks for a great job-the windows look beautiful!

They were good at what they did even though it was a small job.

As I said, they were punctual and responsive. The new windows look like the old ones so the quality seems good. The work was done to our satisfaction. The only 2 negatives were the time frame for appointments is quite long so somebody has to be available to be home for a minimum of 4 hours to wait. The other negative was that the installer did track a lot of snow and salt through the house and I did have to wash floors after she left. This was not the case with the person who did the estimate.

When I called the phone was answered immediately and all my information was gathered-location, year, make and model of car. I was also provided with an estimate for the work that needed to be done. As I called late in the day, an estimated time was given for the serviceman to come the next morning. Later that day I received a call back to verify the information on the type of car I needed work for as apparently there is a model for that year that has "heads up" display where information that is normally displayed on your dash is projected onto the windshield. As that question hadn't been asked earlier, they called back to clarify the information collected so the right type of windshield could be provided. The next day the serviceman was very late in arriving. A half hour after the latest time on the estimated arrival time (I think it was 8-10) I called home from work to check with my son to see how it had gone and to verify how much the cost was. He had not arrived yet. So, I called the company and was told that the serviceman was backed up at another job and would be arriving later that morning. I called home again mid afternoon and found he still hadn't arrived, so called the company again. He actually did not show up until about 4pm. Once he arrived, he was very quick in making the needed repair. The windshield was changed out, the debris cleaned up thoroughly, the rear view mirror reattached and the sealant around the edges applied very neatly. He left instructions with my son not to wash it for 24 hours and then presented a bill that was about $80 less than I had been originally quoted. This reduction is price helped a lot in alleviating my frustration at the late arrival. A couple of days later is rained hard, and not a drop of water seeped in around the windshield. It was a job very well done.

We had several bids and went with the lowest one. After checking various bureaus I decided that this company was reputable. They worked with my schedule to install the shower and it looks beautiful.

They did a good job. They were convenient. The same day that I called they came and fixed it. They were in and out within about an hour. They were professional.

Glass Doctor was contacted on 7/7/2007 and requested to provide an estimate for replacement of 7 windows. Calvin gave us a "ball park" estimate, which was followed up by an onsite visit on 7/9/2007 which is the same day we ordered the windows. At the time of the order, the replacement was scheduled for 7/19/2007. At 10am on 7/19/2007 the Glass Doctor arrived on site with all the equipment necessary to perform the job, which was completed by 11:45am. Shortly after they left, another window was observed to have a broken seal. The company was very accommodating and allowed us to drop off the window at their shop, and dropped the price by 40%. They didn't have to help us on the price for this final window, but we were pleased they did.

Excellent and beautiful job! They came and fixed the window and it looked like nothing had ever happened.

Dropped of cabinet door that needed new glass inserts. Glass fit well and job worked out fine. A bit pricey, however.

They were great! I spent 10-15 minutes between the call to them and talking to the insurance company (they got them on the line while I talked to them). They came out to my workplace and replaced it in around 45 minutes, and did a great job.

I was very satisfied with the company. They were extremely responsive and were able to give an immediate quote over the phone based upon general window specifications and had someone out within two days to confirm measurements and window type. The installer was courteous, professional, and efficient, and did a great job of installation and clean-up. I would definitely use them again.

The first installer was professional, and he installed two panes doing an excellent job. One piece of double pane was the wrong size and had to be re-ordered. The first installer did an excellent job. A different installer returned with the re-ordered pane, and his work is sloppy. The glazing around the window is messy... it is unfair to consider the poor rating for the first installer who did excellent work.

Quality is inferior; it's a vinyl frame and cheap screening. A bit overpriced for the quality and were late getting them to me. However, they do fit the window and do the job they are supposed to do.

Called for to use their services and were out to install glass within 3 hours. Replaced and reframed into old wooden door done with care. Would use them again.

ALTHOUGH THE OFFICE STAFF IS A BIT CRASS, I WAS PLEASED WITH THE WORKMANSHIP OF GLASS REPLACEMENT. THERE WAS A MISCOMMUNICATION REGARDING A PICK-UP TIME, BUT SINCE THE SHOP IS ON MY WAY TO THE OFFICE, I WAS NOT INCONVENIENCED. ALSO, IF YOU STOP INTO THE OFFICE, BE PREPARED TO WAIT AS THE OFFICE STAFF ANSWERS THE PHONE AND HANDLES THOSE CUSTOMERS BEFORE ASSISTING YOU IN PERSON. WORKMANSHIP ON SCREEN REPLACEMENTS IS GOOD, HOWEVER, NOT READY WHEN PROMISED. OFFICE STAFF IS NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL.

I WOULD NEVER CALL THE GLASS DOCTOR AGAIN. THEY ARE VERY DISORGANIZED. THEY DON'T CALL BACK. THEY ARE NOT TIMELY.

A MIXED EXPERIENCE. THE FIRST MAN CAME WITH NO LADDERS AND SO COULDN'T DO THE WORK. EVIDENTLY THEY HAD BEEN STOLEN EARLIER THAT WEEK, BUT NO ONE CALLED TO SEE IF LADDERS WERE NEEDED. I WAS THEN PUT ON THE SCHEDULE FOR FIRST THING IN THE MORNING (BY 8:30) ON A LATER DAY. I CALLED THEM AT 9:45 TO FIND OUT THEY WERE DELAYED. (THEY DIDN'T CALL.) WHEN THEY FINALLY DID ARRIVE THEY HAD LADDERS, BUT NOT ONE TALL ENOUGH TO REACH THE HIGHEST WINDOW. (THIS IS A SMALL, 2 STORY 1930S BUNGALOW, NOT A PARTICULARLY TALL HOUSE.) THEY SEEMED WILLING TO GO GET ANOTHER LADDER, BUT AT THAT POINT I JUST WANTED WHAT THEY COULD REACH DONE. (I NEEDED TO GET TO WORK, AND WANTED TO BE ABLE TO USE MY BATHROOM, IT WAS GETTING COLD AND THERE WAS NO WINDOW!) THE WORK ITSELF WAS GOOD, THOUGH THERE ARE PUTTY SMUDGES ON THE OUTSIDE OF SOME UPPER WINDOWS THAT ARE HARD TO GET TO. THE MEN WERE PLEASANT AND COURTEOUS.

INSTALLER WAS A BIT SLOPPY. DENTED MY FENDER WHEN USING LEVERAGE TO TAKE OFF OLD WINDSHIELD (HE POPPED IT OUT FOR ME). FORGOT TO RETURN MY KEYS AND RAN THEM OVER WITH HIS TRUCK (HAD TO BE REPLACED). MOLDING AROUND WINDOW WAS NOT GLUED PROPERLY AND HAD TO BE REDONE.
