We have been providing tree & shrub care services for your landscape since 1997, including fertilizing your arborvitae (cedars), hemlock and azaleas annually in the spring since 2005. We have also been providing insect control for these plants along with your magnolia tree, via an annual soil injection treatment. Since 1997 we have been out on numerous occasions to prune and when needed, guy your arborvitae. We appreciate the opportunity we've been given to care for your trees and shrubs.

Your annual program currently includes a spring fertilization of all your shrubs along with your weeping mulberry, dogwood, crabapple, hemlock, and spruce trees. Your lilacs and plum and crabapple trees are on a disease prevention program, and evergreen shrubs receive a Winter Protection application. I appreciate your confidence in us and your loyalty twenty years now. Since you moved to your new home, your annual tree & shrub health care program has included a spring fertilization, horticultural oil application, winter protection, and fall insect control soil injection. We have also performed pruning of your birch, cherry, ash, & blue spruces along with the three (3) large maples in your back yard. We have also installed support cables up in the crowns of your birch tree in front and two Norway maples in back. With the exposure of your property to high winds and snow off the lake, this reduces the risk of storm damage. Thank you again for giving us the opportunity to care for your trees and shrubs and for your loyalty over many, many years.

Description of Work: Removed large dead ash tree in a tricky spot. It went well. We do wish they had told us ahead of time that they needed to bring some equipment through our neighbor's yard. Also, wish they offered to clean up chips from grinding stump.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review - it is very much appreciated. I do apologize for the lack of communication regarding the positioning of the crane truck. In order to position the crane truck properly for the safe & efficient lifting, lowering, loading and hauling of heavy sections, it was necessary to access your dead ash tree from your neighbor's property. It is our policy to apprise clients and neighbor's of this need, so the fact you were not told this indeed our responsibility. Also, in regards to the grindings from the stump removal process, we almost always leave them on-site in the resultant hole. It is not cost-efficient to have our arborists and equipment operators perform this task. It is far more economical for the client to have their landscaper or perhaps a neighborhood kid assist in this task if needed. The grindings do make for an excellent mulch in your shrub beds. Your remaining ash tree has been treated with a direct sapstream injection to protect it from succumbing to the emerald ash borer, the nemesis which killed your other ash tree. This injection treatment, done every other year, has proved to be nearly 100% effective in protecting healthy ash trees. Again, thank you for the opportunity to provide you with tree care services. We will do our utmost to avoid any miscommunication issues in the future.

It went well.
Description of Work: They treated my Hickory Trees for an infestation. This is the 2nd year that they have applied the product. This year the leaves on the trees look much healthier. Not perfect but much better.

Thank you for taking the time to complete a report for our service. We are grateful for the feedback. I'm glad that you have seen improvement in the appearance of the leaves on your hickory trees. The price for this particular injection treatment is based upon the diameter of the target trees. In your situation, the three (3) hickory trees have a combined diameter of 37 inches. I recognize that the $217 + tax that you pay for the treatment is a significant investment by you in your trees. It is a very specialized product, developed specifically for the direct injection of tree care medicines into the sapstream of trees for which our applicators require special training and for which we also must be licensed and certified by the State of Ohio. It is also quite environmentally friendly, as it restricts the material to the inside of the tree and targets only those pests feeding on the tree. Again, thank you for your feedback - it is very much appreciated.

Description of Work: needed tree trimmed as its leaves were touching the roof of our house - I thought the price was steep, but because our backyard is narrow, they couldn't get equipment into it and had to manually do everything, which I think raised the price. More importantly, they left so much debris in our yard I had to call them to return and tidy up. There were clipped branches loosely hanging in the live branches that I couldn't even reach to get our. They did respond and 48 hours later all the debris was gone, but think for that price, I shouldn't have had to call and get someone to come back to clean up after themselves.
