Fleming Brothers Landscaping & Snowplowing

This was the last chance for this company. I know them through school and church and tried to support the family company but no more I used them for several years and they got worse as the years went by. They plow once and usually in the afternoon which is a joke as I need to leave in the morning. Calls go unanswered tired of paying for poor work and poor work ethic. Do not use them. Price is lower than everyone else and you will understand why when they show up at 2 pm.

I have hired snowplow drivers to clear my driveway for the 12 years I have lived in this house. This is by far the worst company I have every employed. They either have taken on too many contracts or do not have enough drivers, but when I have to resort to shoveling my own drive this many times in a season it’s disappointing and a waste of money. I’ll never hire these guys again.

This company is ridiculous. The contract is for my snow to be plowed when the snow fall is above 2 inches. This is to happen twice daily. To date, for the entire winter season thus far, we have had exactly 2 snowfalls that exceeded 2 inches and neither time did they show up to plow, Even after multiple phone calls. The first time they didn't show I called and spoke with some woman who had not a clue. I wanted to make sure I was on the schedule and that everything was good. She gave me some lame excuse and assured me it would not happen again. Fast forward 2 weeks to the first big snow storm of the season, and still no one showed. I called multiple times, and when I finally got this same woman on the phone ( who still had not acquired a clue) she says the reasons that no one came is because we got 15in of snow. What? This is January in CLEVELAND, how are you not prepared for multiple inches of snow? And what difference does it make since you didn't show up the previous snowfall and that was only 3-4 inches. But again she 'assured' me that someone would show. Its now more than 36 hours later and still nothing. I spent my entire day trying to get my driveway plowed to no avail. I had to cancel patients and miss an entire day of work. Finally I had to call some friends to help me shovel my way out. After which I promptly went our and bought a snow blower so I would never have to experience this again. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. The same thing happened the year before, the first few inches of snow fell and no one came to plow. I called and after speaking with someone, I didn't have any more issues, so I figured it was just a one time fluke. I was quite wrong. The choice is yours, but I would choose any other snow removal service over this one.

Terrible service! We signed a contract to have our driveway done twice a day when it snows and they rarely come once a day! I’ve tried calling to discuss my concerns and they don’t answer the phone!

I have used them for the past 10 years and they are excellent. They are scheduled to come out this year. The price is for the whole season. They are around the corner, I can call them, and they are close. Sometimes I call them, and they come right back if I don't like something.

This was a bad choice. I've lost several days of work as well as incurred hospital bills from shoveling. I'm a 62 year old widow.
I will never pay another company in full again for snow plowing . They're service was absolutely horrible. When they would to plow they such a horrible that got stuck in my drive several times because of the way they plowed the drive.

Fleming Brothers service is lousy.

Driveway was semi circle; approximately one and a half acres to mow.

I've been out in my driveway with  the people he has plowing, telling them exactly what to do & how to do plow our driveway. The kid he sent said he couldn't do the work properly wasn't blade isn't sharp enough - which is not my fault. But now I can't get a hold of him at all & phone calls go straight to voice-mail.

Overall it goes well. They are prompt, courteous, and do what we ask.

There is no story. I called them, they provided an estimate, came out to do the work, and I am very happy with what they have done. Their service is well worth every penny. The cost is per month.

We had a contract with them and it seemed like we paid $170. They were pretty good and were punctual.

I haven't had any problems with them. My neighbor recommended them and their lawn always looks great so I tried them. They are dependable and they do a great job. When I called them initially to set up the service, everything went quickly and it was easy. To get to my back yard, they have to go through a gate which means they can't take the riding mower back but it always looks good.

They are always on time. They get all of the work done on the same day. They are very reliable. They do a great job.

We have a contract with them from November 1st to March 31st every year. We pay them a certain amount from October to December. They are dependable and very good. They may not come until late in the day, but they try and come very early in the morning. Sometimes they might not be able to come on time, depending upon the snow fall. I don’t know if anyone will completely do whatever they say that they are going to do. However, we keep using them. They shovel the driveway apron for us.

They do a fine job and have great cleanup.

They do not show up if there is a bad storm. We had 2 bad storms last spring--Valentine's Day and 1 closer to Easter. They did not come for 2 whole days both times. The city plows had piled snow so deep on our apron, that there was no getting in or out. I tried to call them but they had allowed their voice mail to fill up and then would not empty it so that incoming messages could be left--in effect, taking the phone off the hook!! Yes, that $150.00 fee looks good but, when you really need them, they are not going to show up.

THE "CONTRACT" IN ITS ENTIRETY READS: "PLOWING BEGINS AFTER 2 INCHES OF FRESH SNOWFALLS [SIC!]. CONTRACT IS IN EFFECT FROM THE FIRST SNOWFALL UNTIL THE LAST SNOWFALL". ON WEEKDAYS, THEY ARE FAIRLY PROMPT. THEY SEEM TO HAVE AN AVERSION TO WEEKEND WORK. A DEEP SNOWFALL ON SATURDAY NIGHT MIGHT NOT BE REMOVED UNTIL LATE SUNDAY AFTERNOON. WHEN THEY DO COME, THEY DO A REASONABLY GOOD JOB.
