I requested a refund from Angie's List.

After making the purchase, the provider did not reach out to. me Eventually, I decided to call and reached someone in the office who told me that my message would be passed along to the technician. This happened three or four more times without any work being done or my call being returned so I have requested a refund from Angie's List.

Waited after the initial e-mail saying will be contacted in 2 days. They went. I called to schedule. They said the guy is on a call and will Call me. Never happened. I emailed and eventually called again almost a month had passed. I gave up and asked for a refund not realizing that the refund was angies list job.

The provide showed up promptly and performed a full energy audit on my home. They were very professional and showed us all the areas of the home that had potential energy issues. They were very informative and provided us with a printout of the relevant numbers associated with the audit. I was very satisfied with the knowledge of the individual and they showed me images on the thermal camera that pointed out where some key areas in my attic might need improvement. At that point they said that we would receive a detailed report via email outlining what the recommendations would be for specific areas that needed attention. At that point I was totally satisfied with the service. I then waited six weeks for the follow-up report to show up and followed up with an email explaining that I had not received the report and was interested in getting one so that I could address the issues that had been identified. It's been three days since I sent the email and I have not heard anything back. Unfortunate, as I would readily have recommended these guys to anyone since they were so professional during the initial visit. Who knows, maybe I will hear back some day. Right now I cant say that was 100 percent satisfied.

When came, did review. It showed areas that needed more insulation and attention. At the time, I was impressed and ready to move to get more work done. He did the review somewhat quickly though and afterwards, I realized some areas were not really checked.. he promised to send a detailed report including images he made from equipment with more detailed explanation and suggestions/recommendations. To date, no report, or any other communication, has been received. It took many phone calls over several weeks to finally make the appointment. He was prompt with appointment, once it was finally made, courteous and appeared to be very knowledgeable and explained several things to me. To get him to finally respond, it took many phone calls to his office over a several week period, before he finally called. We are very disappointed to not hear from him again and get the detailed reports. More so, we were in a position to probably have additional work done, by his firm. However, not now. Seems like he doesn't care so we don't care either to use his services again.

I received a complete report plus an estimate to have some additional work done.

The results were somewhat unexpected, but very useful. My only minor complaint is that we were told we would receive quotes by e-mail for services to remedy these problems, and we never did. We would certainly consider using these services if we had a quote.

I received an email from the provider saying that someone would contact me to schedule an appointment, but no one ever did. Then I decided I didn't need to spend the money right now anyway.

Performed a very complete energy audit. I received a printout of the different areas of my home along with suggestions on how to improve the efficiency of the insulation. Even applied foam around the basement ceiling with the suggestion to add insulation between the rafters. He installed water-saving faucet adapters and shower head. I even purchased an attic "tent" to cover the pull-down stairway opening which has made a noticible difference. I was very impressed with the service.

Very happy with service. Have new construction but wanted confirmation there were no issues with house. Plus for $50 couldn't pass it up. Entire audit was few hours. Very thorough.. used a lot of high-tech stuff, pointed out some things while he was doing analysis. Final report was very impressive. Actually found the house was "too tight". Good problem to have. Very worthwhile to have the audit done.

These folks were slow to respond and set up the appointment after I bought the "special" energy audit offered by Angie's List. They did eventually come out to do the audit. It was not as described on Angie's List. ( no evaluation, for example, of appliance efficiency, mold, etc. that was described on the offer.). Failed to send the promised report on the audit's findings. Have called multiple times for the report. They promise to look into it and to send it, but don't.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was fine. The deal said it would take about four hours to do the inspection, but it was nowhere near that. It was about 1-1/2 hours at the most. I was impressed with the person who came out and he was very helpful. I thought he did a fine job, but it did not take four hours for the inspection. I got a lot of information from him, but a lot of it I already knew. I thought their price was reasonable.

Service was exactly as described. Technician arrived on time and performed the task in a timely manner. Also, provided nice write-up of services completed and suggested improvements.

It's been weeks and I've called several times to set up an appt. The woman answering the phone has said every time I've called that she would make sure Mark called us. After badgering them, he did call my husband. My husband called him back and we haven't heard anything since. We have requested a refund, which the company said will have to come from Angie's List. So we'll see.... UPDATE-Mark did come to the house and the audit was done. I learned a lot about house the system should work and plan to take care of insulation, etc. My only problem, is, I have had to badger him to get the report. His printer was on the fritz the day he was here, so he said he would send it. I still have not received it, 2 months later. When I get the report, I will amend the review.

Since moving in to our home a little over a year ago, our upstairs had been significantly colder during the wintertime due to poor insulation in the attic. Leigh from Comfort MD, Inc. did a thorough quote, and took the time to explain the process through which he would go. Comfort MD came to our house to add insulation to our attic and basement. My wife was at home when they came, and she told me that they were very efficient, polite, and quick. They took the time to explain what they were doing, and even noticed a safety concern with a light fixture when insulating our attic. After noticing the concern, they took care of the problem immediately with no extra charge. What I was most impressed with, however, was the immediate difference I noticed in our upstairs after the insulation had been put in place. I do a lot of work in our office upstairs, and would have to bundle up during the winter due to the cold temperatures. Leigh told us that we should notice a significant difference right away after the insulation was in place. He wasn't kidding! Working upstairs is much more comfortable now with the job that Comfort MD completed. We also noticed that our furnace kicks on less than it used to due to the insulation keeping our heat in. We can't wait to see the difference in our gas bill. Overall, we would highly recommend Comfort MD for anybody who needs an insulation job in their home. Good experience and good people.

This is SO worth your time to have done. Even though I purchased it on Angie's list for one heck of a deal, I would have paid hundreds of dollars for this information. Now I know exactly what is going on in my house energy wise with heat loss, things to do, just simply awesome. The infrared camera is fascinating to see on a screen, yes it is cold on this wall where ice builds up on the inside! Would highly recommend.

Although it took a little longer than expected to set up the audit, I found it to be a great deal and very informative. They check your whole house and give you printed results of what they found and what they suggest you need to do to fix any issues. There was no pressure to sell anything. Mark was very professional and took the time to explain to me exactly what he was doing and why. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for this service. Update 3/1/14 After the audit I asked them to contact me and give me some info and pricing for getting my attic insulated. I was told 'you will hear from me shortly'. That was 8 days ago and I have yet to hear a word. I will probably start looking elsewhere to find somene to insulate my attic and I have changed my rating from C to F as far as their responsiveness. I also have read others reviews and many of them seem to have the same issue. If you want to get your work done in a timely manner you may want to look elsewhere.

I've called them multiple times. I was assured that I would get a scheduling call, but have heard nothing. I want my money back! They obviously did not adequately anticipate the response to this offer.

It seems they had gotten such a response that it did take about 2-3 weeks to get the appointment. He had a meter and was showing me where the heat loss was in the house. They did a thorough job going room to room and he let me know there wasn’t enough insulation in the attic. They never supplied me a report. I did send another email to them through Angie’s List and still have not heard back. It was worth it to see where I needed insulation but I would still like the report.

I purchased the big deal and I received an email saying someone would contact me. After I did not hear from them I tried to email them and no response. I called and no response from that as well. I purchased the big deal in August and after several emails and calls, it is February and I have not heard from them.

I was never contacted by the provider. When I called to schedule a time I was told they would contact the person and I should be hearing from him. Never happened. I requested my money back.

I modified the contract because I wanted a more exhaustive audit. He was at my home for 3 hours. It worked out fine, and he was on time. It was an educational experience - this was my 3rd audit. The tech was a subcontractor to the company, I learned.

I purchased the reasonably priced deal home energy audit on 1-21. The company contacted me through angies list email two days later saying some one will contact me soon to schedual the service. I still had not been contaced by 1-28. So I sent them a reminder message to contact me. A reply stating they would contact me with in 2 days, if not call. I ended up calling on 2-3. They said Mike would call once he was done with a current client. I had recieved no contact as of 2-5. I sent a angies list email asking to be contacted by the end of the day Friday (2-7) and stipulated that if no contact was made by then I wanted my money refunded immediately. It is now 2-13 and still no word or refund. I am planning on calling them to make sure my money is returned.

I tried calling and emailing and eventually got a call back. We set up a time for them to come out, but they didn't show. In the mean time, I hired another company because i desperately needed insulation. So, I contacted them again to ask for a refund. They said they would, but I still have not gotten my money back...

They were able to come out quickly after I had purchase the big deal. Scheduling went well and they accommodated to my schedule. There was one technician here doing the work and it took about an hour complete. I was happy with their service.
