Great, He came on time the next day. Instead of quoting me a new air conditioner, Steve Collins the owner found that it needed a new electrical box instead. He worked in the install the next day. He saved me from the $3,500 the other company quoted saying we needed an new compressor. I really appreciate Collins honesty.

Based on previous reviews I found on Angie's List, I called Collins Cooling and Heating and Steve Collins came out the same day! He reviewed my equipment needs and quoted me a price $4000 less than the "other" company! Steve's quote was detailed and complete. Steve was kind and knowledgable and didn't talk down to me. I was really comfortable going forward with Collins Cooling and Heating. Within another day, they came out and replaced both my furnace and Air Conditioner. No troubles, No extra problems or costs. They were kind, neat and fast. Still to this day everything is running great. I would highly recommend Collins Cooling and Heating to anyone. There aren't enough words to say how happy I am with Arco's service. They came promptly and on time. I was very nervous due to my house being a mess with dog hair all over but they didn't make me feel self conscious at all. They did a much, much better job than the people who came a few years ago by the name of __________ & Sons and found things, i.e., empty perfume bottles, etc. that the previous contractor didn't. I was very impressed, and if I'm still here in this house next year, I'm going to have them come back! I highly recommend them!

Steve and his crew were great. Cleaned the ducts, installed a new AC and furnace. Excellent price and all done in a day. I had a problem with the pitch in one of my pre-existing lines where the furnace exhausts. Steve came back and fixed it no problem and in a hurry. I would recommend Steve and his crew to friends and family.

His crew of three came about 9:30am and began uninstalling the furnace, air conditioner, etc. Once that was accomplished they went about cleaning all the air ducts and cold air return. The crew then began the process of installing the new systems. Steve came a little later and they all worked as a team to complete the job. When they left around 6:00pm, everything was done to my satisfaction. They were all very professional in their work and I enjoyed being around the whole team. They left the area clean and everything has been working great! I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

It went okay. I had a problem because the electrical part was buzzing in the furnace and I asked them to come and fix it. They did and they replaced the part for free. He upgraded the model and let me know that it would be better than what the deal was for, for just $100. He also came here and explained everything that I would need to do to operate the furnace, put in a new thermostat for free as well. Also gave me a warranty on the furnace and the parts.

It was a wonderful experience. The height of the pilot light was changed so that it should not turn on as often. It was recommended that the furnace should be replaced (and I was given a price for replacement on the spot). I was also informed that the entire pilot light assembly could also be replaced instead and was given a price for that as well. I would definitely use this company again.

It went very well. On time and ready to work. Very organized and POLITE! Told me what they were doing. Explained the new equipment & showed how to work thermostat. Explained the Aprilair humdifier and what to expect. Workers were polite to each other! Held the door & helped! Installation went well and everything was cleaned up as they worked. Before installation, the air ducts were cleaned. Steve showed me a picture of the dirty ones & then a picture of all cleaned ones. Very good job. I would highly recommend them!

It went amazing. The owner was extremely nice. He was very knowledgeable. He explained everything in great detail. He made sure I understood what would happen. He walked me through the things they were getting ready to do to make decisions and give me guidance to make the best decision. They came in and installed the furnace and air conditioner with no problems. They worked extremely well. They were very nice. They worked quick and were very efficient. Steve came out for the quote of the work a week and half before we had the work done. He was very well prepared and showed me a couple of different models he could install with the pros and cons. Because our house could not accommodate the 95% efficient furnace (Steve explained what would have to added and we chose not do that option) we went with the 80% and 13 seer A/C unit Rheem. On installation day they arrived and started promptly. The crew is very respectful of not only your home, but our neighbors as well and cleaned up everything quickly. They quickly removed the system and made sure not to damage anything as they were working. Since we had our animals upstairs we asked they just clean the downstairs ducts, however they used multiple tools to reach as far up as they could and the downstairs very clean...we never knew how dirty the ducts really were. Once they started installing the unit, Steve excused himself to get the duct work needed to create the custom version we needed to access the filter easily. While out he not only got the duct work, but he found the odd sized filter we needed (gave to us at no extra charge) and got us a new programmable thermostat. Once it was finished Steve had to go, however the team stayed behind to test the system and explained the smells and way they were going to test the system. I would highly recommend Steve and his crew to anyone.

They showed up on time, introduced themselves and went straight to work. Completed the job in 6 hours, cleaned everything up and explained the warranty and how to double it by registering online. They even took time to pet all 5 of our assorted animals and compliment the new landscaping. The air conditioning was on before they left and it is so cool.

Steve's crew arrived mid morning and completed the job by 3pm. They were friendly and professional, politely addressing any concerns and answering any questions that arose. The old parts were taken away and the new furnace and outside AC unit installed, work sites cleaned up nicely. The old AC compressor unit was a large, rectangular metal box, and the new Rheem AC unit is square, leaving some unsightly areas around the base where a new concrete patio had been installed just last year. Steve's crew mixed up some sakrete and neatly filled in those areas around the new pad to make everything look good. They went that extra mile, and we really appreciate it.

HE FOUND THE PROBLE RIGHT AWAY. HE CORRECTED THE PROBLEM AND VACUUM THE INSIDE OF FURANCE AND WAS DONE

What wonderful workers. Steve, the owner, came many times to diagnose the problem and adjust the gauges on the boiler. He also had Louis come and replace the valve twice, the first valve was defective.. These workers are great. On time,polite,hard working, and able to trouble shoot. I can't say enough good things about them. Highly recommend this company for honest, reliable work.

One of our apartments had been without heat for a couple of days before the tenant mentioned it to me. After wasting more than a couple of hours trying to figure it out for myself, and not wanting my tenants to be in the cold any longer than necessary, I gave up and started looking for a heating professional in the neighborhood who would come out at night. As we had bought the property just a year and a half before and have lived only on the east side, we were unfamiliar with businesses on the west side. Unfortunately by then it was already after 6:00. Consulting Angie's List, I found Collins Cooling and Heating, which was in the general neighborhood and had outstanding reviews. Steve was on his way to another appointment when I called, but, because it would have been problematic for me to stay until he could get to me after that appointment (after 8:30) he offered to come to my place first. Extremely considerate and helpful. I was working in an adjacent building and watching for him. When he came to the door, I went to get my keys, but he had already finished the job! The tenant had let him in. Although I would have liked to observe his work (as a learning experience), I was very pleased with the efficiency and the outcome. And a half off coupon from the company website saved the extra expense for emergency service. Steve was very congenial and professional. Collins Cooling and Heating moved right to the top of my list of businesses I would happily recommend and use again.
