Sorry this is long but this is as shortened as I can get it. We entered into a contract 4/1/21 with a window installation company to replace all of our windows. The windows arrive to be installed in August 2021, but half of them did not fit so they had to be reordered. In addition to them not fitting we question the actual workmanship of the window sashes. The welding was bad, there was plastic that was cut in certain spots that was sharp on handles, there were gaps, there was many issues with the actual quality of the product. Over the course of the next 6 to 7 months the company came to install the windows that have been ordered only to find out that windows have been ordered the wrong size again. I think we had a total of five or six service visits where they attempted to install windows, they did not fit, and none of the windows were still fitting. When they came to install the windows at the second service appointment they actually took all of our old windows out, so even the sashes that did not fit were left despite the fact that there were gaps and areas visible to the outdoors because they were so small. They attempted to fix it with blue painters, tape around all of the edges of our windows for months because they could not get the measurements correct. Things became so out of hand that in December 2021 we met with the regional manager who came from Ohio to our home in Michigan to look at the windows where he agreed the quality of the product and the lack of correct sizes were so bad he agreed to re-order every single sash for every single window and promised they would be fully inspected for quality inn size before they left the factory. We attempted to communicate with them for the next few months wondering where her windows were and then we were finally told in the middle of March they had arrived and were inspected and a service man came on March 15 to install them and guess what they didn’t fit. At that point we continue to question if it could be the actual frames because the installation on the very first attempt did not go so well because they did things very poorly so we are wondering if maybe the frames themselves were wrong. On March 15. The manager said he would figure out what he would do next and let us know. We did not hear back from him so we contacted another manager who told us to please make a list of everything that still needed to be done, which we did and we sent to them on March 23, 2022. He was a Google Docs so we have verification they did view it. We have not heard from them since. We attempted to reach out to them numerous times, and all of our text messages, phone calls and emails went unanswered. In our contract at stated that we would pay upon completion of the job. Our contract did state the job would be completed within 1 to 5 business days after it started and we gave them grace on that, but after 2 months of not hearing from them we called an attorney who told us to just wait for them to call us because they are the ones breaching the contract with walking away from the job. two days ago we received a letter in the mail, 12 months after they stopped all forms of communication with us, demanding we sign a completion form and pay $13,000. The letter also stated at the completion of the job was March 14, 2023. They have not spoken to us since March 23, 2022. Due to issues that we had at the beginning of the process with them I documented everything, videos, photos, emails, and I even have signed documentation from service workers about things that are wrong. The demand letter states that they are to receive the signed completion form, which was not even included in the package they sent, and the payment by March 28, 2023. to keep things in writing I emailed the lady who sent the letter and sent her the document we sent and 2022 with the items not done and All she did was tell me she was going to send it on to another manager. I requested a phone call back, that was Thursday, and I never received one. I spent hours Thursday, trying to talk to attorneys, which nobody ever returned my call and I filed complaints with LARA, Michigan Atty General, Indiana Atty General (where the business is out of), and BBB. However, with a deadline of only a few days, there is no way that anything will get accomplished before Tuesday. However, I do know that they did receive the Better Business Bureau complaint and the complaint from the Indiana attorney generals office. Michigan’s attorney general told me that somebody would be able to pick up this complaint on Monday and hopefully reach out to the business on Monday, so hopefully that does happen. Nobody seems to be able to tell me legally what my rights are! The demand letter also threatened that if payment was not made by March 28, they would put a lien on my home, send me to collections, and a few other things. Not only did they walk away from the project, but they left us with windows that do not fit.

The worst experience of my life. We signed a contract for supposedly CHAMPION siding. The salesman gave us Champion siding brochures and went on to explain why Champion siding( factory direct) was the best siding on the market. They were thousands of dollars more than the next quote but we thought we were getting better siding and insulation. They delivered the same siding all the other s had quoted from a local lumber company. When we called to complain they did not care and refused to cancel the contract without us losing our 30% down payment. Like it was our fault. When I threatened legal action they said I would never be able to prove it in court. We were stuck and got screwed out of thousands of dollars.

MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! They are LIARS!! They sent over the installers with HALF the order-- the window trim came in white when we were promised numerous times that it would come in tan. Then the manager assured us a painter would be out same day as install to correct and then, after our old windows were torn out, she said there was a " miscommunication" and a painter would NOT be coming out. SHADY people-- SKETCHY sales and business practices. I absolutely regret my decision to use Champion. Would not recommend to even my worst enemy

The newly hired salesperson arrived on time, was detailed and very professional. I gave Champion this business opportunity based on my previous dealings with them on several other projects that I had completed with them. I appreciate the lifetime warranties they offer on their products and they performance will an issue occurs. I must admit that I was disappointed that it 2 weeks before the measurement was completed on August 28th. Although the technician was almost an hour late, he was very pleasant and was wearing a mask. He completed this work in a timely manner. My door has not been installed yet and I was told it would take 4 to 6 weeks additional.

Terrible. I called in mid May for an appointment to get an estimate for siding. They had no opening till the end of June. I waited over five weeks. And on the day of my appointment they texted to cancel the appointment due to the person being sick. I called immediately to reschedule and they said it was going to be another five weeks before they could get out. I told them that was unacceptable and I had already waited five weeks, I needed someone there sooner. They said they would forward my information to the local office and they would call me. It’s been over two weeks and I still haven’t heard from anybody. They lost my business. Would not recommend

Work was slow to start. Promised job would be complete in October but was working until end of December. Was supposed to have step down in order to get 8 foot ceilings but that wasn't done. We list top windows and couldn't install fan. The roof leaked. We had to fight to get repaired. Took over a year until it was usable. Will never use or recommend this company.

After installation, screws holding the screens on the bay window were stripped. The main window after 8 years has something wrong with it and Champion's warranty and service is terrible. After calling, I have waited 3 months now and no window. They keep giving the same story, it's finished but hasn't been delivered. Plus I have to pay 99 dollars to have them fix it. I know other Window companies is a true lifetime warranty, if it is broke they come out right away for no cost. My parents had to get new windows in their house and I made sure to tell them not to call Champion.

Had an appointment today to get a quote on sliding door replacement and a sunroom replacement. In no way, shape, or form should that have taken over two hours of my time on a Saturday morning. After a powerpoint presentation, a demonstration of how much heat and light the glass keeps out, and a continuing hard sell (calling regional manager, marking down door from $5700 to $2600, which means the mark up must be astronomical) it was enough. My husband already stated no less that 10 times already that we were getting other quotes and would NOT make a decision until after we had all three quotes. My husband and I had already stated that we had things to get done today, including pick up my car from the shop, errands to run, and that my two young children were going outside to play. Eventually I just got up and started getting my two year and and four year old dressed in snow clothes. At that point the salesman was still trying to hard sell my husband so I told the salesman that the sales pitch was over and he had three minutes to get out of my house because after two hours I was not going to use Champion, even if they made the best product in the world. I have now renamed Champion as the "Used Car Lot" of home service. Will not be using them now or in the future. My time is valuable, especially time with my children, and you wasted too much of it.

They did a good job, they put in a sliding glass door for us. It was excellent. The work itself and clean up was very good. They removed the whole door and replaced it.

Not so good. They couldn't or wouldn't sell me anything over the counter for me to fix it myself. They said that they would need to do the work so that they could warrant it. I wasn't really looking for someone to do this work, I just was looking for where I could purchase the parts so I could do it myself. I did not get any satisfaction with my chat, but that doesn't necessarily deserve a grade. Yes, they absolutely did not help me. But, maybe they just couldn't because they don't do business that way.

There were imperfections in the initial set of windows (in the finish). Although Champion's resolution of this issue was complicated by an unrelated change of managers, Champion, to their credit, responded without resistance or argument and actually remade the windows and worked until they were perfect. I am very happy that I listened to their salesman when he explained that, with Champion, you are dealing with the same people that made the windows, sold the windows, installed the windows and performed warranty work on the windows. A great advantage over other providers and a great product, too. If you are looking for windows, keep that in mind. I did and got a great product and great service and follow-up to make sure I was satisfied.

It was very well done, we were very happy with it. They came and tore up the old roof, they did it quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up everything. Their cleanup was remarkable. They put on the roof quickly. There was nothing that they could have done differently, I was very pleased.
