Description of Work: A. Garber made my 6 dining chairs seem like new! They rebuilt 6 seats (that had old springs) and reupholstered them with new fabric. They look dynamite! Alex was very professional and helpful. I highly recommend!

Description of Work: I had an antique rocking chair seat upholstered. The problem was that Mr. Garber padded the seat to make it twice as high as it was supposed to be, rendering the chair uncomfortable. One's back no longer lined up with the curve in the seat back. Mr. Garber was very annoyed that I wasn't happy, but he took the chair back to the shop and lowered the seat. He did not offer to deliver it the second time, probably because he was miffed.

 + -1 moreWE CHOSE FABRIC WITH A 27 INCH REPEAT WHICH HE MATCHED ON OUR FURNITURE AS NEAR PERFECTLY AS POSSIBLE. THE WORK WAS COMPLETE ON JULY 30. WE WAITED THIS LONG TO EVALUATE HIS WORK (AUGUST 29), BECAUSE WE WANTED TO MAKE SURE WE WERE NOT MISSING ANYTHING THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE THAT WAS NOT. MY FRIENDS ARE ALSO VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE JOB, ESPECIALLY THE WAY THE FABRIC WAS MATCHED TO THE CARVINGS ON THE WOOD. WE WILL ALWAYS HAVE HIM DO OUR UPHOLSTERY WORK FOR US. HE DESERVES AN A+ FOR THE JOB THAT HE DID.
