The workmanship is excellent. Mr. Garber was prompt & very professional.

I have three mid-century, designer pieces that were top-of-the-line in their day. They also have a great deal of sentimental value for me. However, they had begun to look a bit sad (what with 60+ years of use), so I decided to have them reupholstered. I knew that reupholstering would be expensive regardless of where I took my pieces, and the owner was very upfront about the costs of going forward (which I appreciated). The estimate turned out to be right on the money. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. The owner helped us choose fabric, was very upfront about cost and quality, and was in general very professional and courteous. He performed the work in less time than originally estimated -- I believe the entire project took him about a week and a half or two weeks. Most importantly, the quality of his work exceeded all of my expectations. It's like having three new designer pieces of furniture! I would recommend him to anyone interested in having furniture reupholstered -- he's the best!

It went very smoothly. My chairs were finished on time at the price that was quoted. They went out of their way to meet me at a convenient place to pick up and drop of the chairs. The chairs were protected with plastic and wrapped nicely. I would use them again in the future.

Ultimately, Mr. Mathes could not perform the repairs that I required. However, he was very responsive, came to my home within 24 hours of my contacting him, and provided an honest assessment.

Everything came out beautifully and within the time he quoted. The womb chair is not an easy one to reupholster and it came out almost identical to how knoll does it. He picked up and delivered the items for free. He was very helpful picking out fabric and every step of the way, I stopped in to see him about a million times and he never seemed annoyed or too busy to talk to me. I could take the fabric books home to see how they look with what I already have. His prices are higher than others in the area but they are reflected in his craftsmanship. He is very honest and will not try to rip you off in any way, he actually suggested I get cheaper fabric even though he makes less money on it. I will definitely be back, I want a headboard, and ottoman and more pillows!

The project was fairly easy. We picked out a fabric, he gave the price and in 4 weeks the chair was completed.

Alex was very accommodating and efficient. His price, $35/chair was fair and he did the job in 3 days whereas another place I had checked would have kept the chairs for 5 weeks. The chairs were done on time, his assistant loaded them in the car for me. He pointed out some structural repair that needed to be done but was not pushy about it. He also was good about explaining his work. He also builds furniture there and proudly showed me some of his work.

Mr. Garber arranged to come to my house to give an estimate. He had to reschedule but called in advance. He ordered the fabric and notified me as soon as it arrived. This was shortly before Christmas and he assured me that he would have the chair finished in time for the holiday. He picked up the chairs from my home and was able to return them to me within a matter of days so we had the chairs ready to use for Christmas. I was very pleased with the service, the workmanship, and the price.

The whole experience went well. The fabric on the chair is durable for heavy use but also looks elegant in the living room. The people are friendly, easy to work with and are able to get ahold of to discuss progress.

On the day that I telephoned him, he came to my house to give me an estimate and, when I agreed to the estimate, he picked up the chair then and there (he'd brought an assistant with him to help carry it). He completely replaced all of the padding in the chair and the seat cushion and returned the beautifully finished, new-looking chair to me a couple of weeks earlier than the date I'd expected it. His professionalism and workmanship are outstanding.

Mr. Garber called me when the work was complete and asked if I wanted to have the metal refinished by his refinisher. I greatly appreciated that. The work was professional, convenient (his picked-up and delivered the glider and was done exactly when he promised it would be done. I have already recommended him to my friends!

Craftsmanship was excellent. They allowed me to come in & check their work. I couldn't think of a way for them to do it better. We had a deadline for them to meet which they met.

My experience with this store was great. Mr. Garber is a true craftsman and is very happy to offer advice on rebuilding various aspects of older furniture before reupholstering, assisting with fabric selection, etc. His store in Cleveland Heights contains many fabric sample books for upholstery and drapery, with a good range of prices, colors, designer and generic to meet most needs. The work is done on site and he seems to have adequate workers to handle many jobs simultaneously. The service was charming, courteous, and extremely flexible regarding scheduling pick-up and delivery. The work was completed exactly on the schedule promised.

Alex did an excellent job. He & his assistant picked up my couch & delivered it back well ahead of schedule. The couch was done exactly to my specs. He added extra fill to the down cushions so they stand up better than they did previously.

He did it so rapidly, efficiently, and beautifully. I would highly recommend them to anybody. The work was done in less than two weeks; even had me come by and check it before they finished it to make sure I was satisfied.

I am so happy with my new chairs! The price included new padding and refinishing and repairing when needed. He had good suggestions on which fabric to use. He was able to work with my schedule. The chairs are just beautiful.

MR GARBER AND HIS EMPLOYEES WERE A JOY TO WORK WITH. THEY RE-UPHOLSTERED 2 CLUB CHAIRS THAT ORIGINALLY WERE TUFTED WITH BUTTONS. HE CONVINCED ME NOT TO RE-DO THE TUFTING AND HAVE A SMOOTH SURFACE. THEY TORE THE CHAIRS DOWN TO THE FRAMES, REBUILT THE PADDING AND CUSHIONS AND DID EXCELLENT WORK. THEY ARE VERY COMFORTABLE AND JUST AS BEAUTIFUL. THE ACCENT ARM CHAIR ALSO WAS DONE WITH GREAT WORKMANSHIP. HIS PRICE WAS VERY COMPETITIVE AND THE WORKMANSHIP WAS WONDERFUL.

PICKED UP CHAIR, DID A VERY PROFESSIONAL JOB, RETYING SPRINGS, ADDING SOME PADDING AND FINISHING WITH CORDING. DELIVERED CHAIR IN ABOUT 10 DAYS. EXCELLENT. PICKED UP THE CHAIRS, DID THE WORK IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER AND RETURNED THEM IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. SEATS RETIED, NEW BACK WONDERFUL AND EVERYTHING IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION.

I WAS ESPECIALLY PLEASED WITH THE HELPFUL ADVICE I GOT ON THE FABRIC SELECTIONS. THE JOB WAS COMPLETED AHEAD OF TIME, TOO.
