I chose to call Workhorse Contracting because I asked my trusted painting contractor who he would call for replacing the roof. That can't be underrated because any service contract which is willing to stake his reputation on giving a recommendation, must have the highest of confidence that the recommended service contractor will perform flawlessly.
He was right too. Jason Riley and the members of the crew that were given the privilege to work with him in replacing my roof did a perfect job. There is not one area where they could have done better from start to finish. They were very careful to guard the lawn and the landscaping. At the end of each day, one of his crew went around the house and hunted for the smallest of scraps, nails and debris that might have come off the roof during the workday. The results were perfect.
They cleaned all the gutters when they were finished too.

At first when I called in, they couldn't get to me and so I checked other people but I read other reviews and I said I don't want to use those people and so I just waited on him until he could get out here to do it. He came early anyway. He said they got finished with the job early so he sent somebody out here at 6:00 at night because I needed a roof inspection and just clean up the gutters and everything before I put the house on the market. His price came in below some of them and he did an excellent job and he had a lot of references that were really good. I would recommend him to anybody. I called a company in downtown Cincinnati where the contractors buy the shingles, and I told them I wanted a good roofer that would put a good roof on for a decent price that was reliable, and wasn't going to go out of business in a few years. I also did not like the idea of these big companies that have a bunch of subcontractors they send out. I didn't want them because the same guy wouldn't be coming back every time. I asked them and they gave me his name. They said they would highly recommend him, that was why I've had him ever since. I like his honesty, reliability, and professionalism. I have used him for the last 15 years.

It was a nightmare job and Jason just kept plugging away problem after problem.   He met his original estimate and didn't charge us anymore then what he quoted us.   The current stain/paint did not strip well, because it took so much effort the wood was a little ruff, so they sanded down area, so it would be sooth for our feet.
