Another Critter Gone

Called and was told to text him my contact information and it would be a couple weeks until he would be able to come out. I text him again 17 days later and never got a text or call back (it has now been 25 days and no word). I went with another provider.

Raccoon was not the issue squirrels were seeing to that now

Jay Harmeyer, the owner, was great to work with. He responded promptly, installed traps on the exterior entrances to the attic (wood louvers which squirrels had eaten through) that were almost 30' in the air, and applied steel mesh wire to prevent them from entering again. While the traps did not catch any squirrels trying to re-enter, the mesh helped to keep them out. The traps remained in place for about a week before Jay came to remove them. While no squirrels were caught, the issue was resolved. I removed a squirrel's nest from the attic, where it looked like they had inhabited for a short period of time, then left. I felt the price was reasonable for what they were able to do. I will not hesitate to call Jay again for any wildlife removal.

Poor guy came all the way out here, on a Sunday, only to discover the mounds were mis-identified: chipmunks, not moles, were the culprits. However, he was so nice, and didn't charge me anything, so if I need something else (or someday decide chipmunks _aren't_ too cute to kill), I would hire his company.

Very well. Cage traps were installed that resulted in removal of not only one skunk, but two raccoons and two opossums also. Substantial screening was installed around the base of the porch to recurrence. They kept cages in place for about two weeks after the last animal was captured to ensure that there were no others underneath.

They came out promptly and took care of the animals. The price was exactly what I have been quoted, although it was higher than I would have liked, but their professionalism, punctuality, and quality job done more than made up for the slightly higher price. I would definitely hire them again if we have additional wild animal issues!

Jay and Joey came right out the next day and set traps for the squirrels and were able to do it essentially 3 stories up on the back of our house. Jay explained everything and is very knowledgeable. Every time a squirrel was caught, I called and they came out in less than 24 hours, got it and reset the trap. They ended up trapping 5 squirrels in all! They took care of everything professionally and quickly and all I had to do was give them a call! After taking care of the squirrels, they put a matching metal patch over the squirrel hole in the fascia board so I didn't have to call an additional contractor to patch the hole! We've had no further trouble from the squirrels! We're very, very pleased with their job and have recommended them to neighbors who have subsequently used them for squirrel removal. They are now our "wildlife problem" guys!

Jay was very prompt and knowledgeable. He came out and caught one raccoon and left traps set in the attic for a few days. Came back and the traps were empty. However, a few days later, another one made his presence known. Not sure where it was hiding...must not have liked the marshmallows in the traps. :) I called Jay, he came out to set another trap (with an apple this time) and caught him. Haven't had any issues since.

Around dusk we heard a ruckus in our attic. I left a message with Wildlife Removal Services that evening. Around 7:30 the next morning I received a return phone call and they came to our house immediately. They did a thorough inspection of the whole attic, quickly found the squirrels entry though a soffit vent. After a week, two different traps, and no squirrels caught it was determined the squirrels were done using our attic. We decided at that time to not only reinforce the damaged soffit vent but to reinforce all of them, over 40 in all to protect our attic. We appreciate this business. So prompt and professional. They respect your home like it was their own! Highly recommend!

I called on Friday and Jay was able to come the next morning. He checked the attic to confirm that the squirrel was not in the attic, added a temporary plug to the access hole and set a trap. Although we did not catch the squirrel it did not return to the attic and I was able to get the access point secured.

Took about 2-3 weeks to catch. They had to change the type of trap to finally get them all. Very professional and always came out when I called to say we caught another one.

Arrived promptly and caught the groundhog on the first day.

The team who worked with me were professional, understanding, and personable. The removal of the raccoon was challenging and I feel the team was certain they would prevail and the raccoon would be removed.?Since the presence of the animal damaged the attic insulation, it needed to be replaced. It was handled by the same team with the same amount of professionalism.

I contacted Jay and he came out the same day. He spotted at least one raccoon in our chimney and laid out 2 traps. He came out early the next morning and removed 1 raccoon from a trap. After several days and no more raccoons he came back out and saw no more raccoons in the chimney and capped the chimney. He was very courteous and professional throughout the entire process. We're very satisfied with his service and wouldn't hesitate to hire again.

The owner took my call and asked for a few minutes to get back to me. He called within five minutes and told me that he and an assistant were on the way. They arrived within fifteen minutes. They made quick work of loading and securing the deer carcass on their truck. This was not an inexpensive service, but I was not going to remove the animal myself, and could not have accomplished the task any faster.

Left a voicemail with this company and they never called back. Lesson learned, I won't be calling again.

Great, thorough diagnostics

When Jay arrived, he got the traps ready and we went to the basement. Once we got down there, we found that the raccoons had made their way out at sometime during the night (which save me $140 in the removal cost, $70 per animal removed). Once we found that they were gone, he checked the chimney, and then capped it off so that the raccoons could not return.

There were two male raccoons trapped and a patch was placed on the hole where they gained access to the attic.

The service person quickly determined the source of the noises. He removed birds and nesting material from vent. He then placed a cage over vent to prevent birds from reentering.

Have not heard any activity since.
