 + -1 moreWe requested an estimate, and Jerry did not show up, nor did he call. I called him after waiting for about an hour (just to make sure I didn't have my date/time mixed up), and he admitted he had forgotten the appointment. He was working on another project and simply forgot (If I was him, I would not have admitted to that. In other words, he told me something else was more important than getting my business). It's understandable to forget. Things like that happen. Contractors are a dime a dozen, and there are plenty out there who ''want'' your business and do not require the homeowner to track them down. We decided to cancel our re-scheduled appointment exactly for that reason. We also did not want a repeat no show/no call when our own project is underway and a more important project took precedence.

 + -1 moreHE WAS TIMELY AS FAR AS GETTING THE JOB DONE WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD. HE WAS HERE EVERY DAY. HE WAS COURTEOUS AND PLEASANT TO HAVE IN MY HOME. HE WAS REASONABLY PRICED. HE ALWAYS SHOWED UP WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD.
Description of Work: HE REMODELED MY BASEMENT. HE INSTALLED A SUB FLOOR IN MY BASEMENT, HE TOOK OUT SOME STAIRS TO MAKE THEM WIDER, HE TOOK OUT A WALL AND SEPARATED THE BASEMENT INTO A FEW ROOMS, HE BUILT A BAR AREA, HE DID SOME SLATE WORK ON THE FLOOR, HE DID SOME BUILT-IN ENTERTAINMENT SHELVING, HE DID ALL OF THE PAINTING, AND HE CONTRACTED OUT THE ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING AND DRYWALL WHICH WAS INCLUDED IN THE ESTIMATE. HE ALSO DID SOME CERAMIC TILE WORK.
