He sent two guys the first time and one guy was really good and the other guy not so much. The second time only one guy came. He was supposed to mop the kitchen floor and he mopped it once and went to do something else. I walked through and it wasn't clean. I asked him to remop it which he did and after he left I mopped it again because it wasn't clean. After that I discontinued their service because I was not satisfied with what I was getting. The price was within my budget. I don't think I would use them again.

He did a good job.

I first found The House Guy on Angie's list. I hired them to clean my rental house that was very dirty. They did an excellent job and was told they did other home jobs so I hired them for other jobs. They cleaned out my attic but nothing was put back to its original spot but all packed together and a very disappointing job for the 20 hours worth of work that I paid them. The same thing happened at a commercial building, the work was good, however, they had to go back and finish cleaning up a mess that they had left and billed me for 21 hours of work. This was clearly a possible 10 hr job for maybe 3 people, but not 21 hours even for one person. They sent 3 people so they charged me $60/hr My last estiment for a job that I was told was going to be $100, I was then told after the work was done, that I owed $250 for that job! When I have called the owner, he rarely if ever has returned a phone call. We paid for a job that he had done for us immediately upon completion, however, he had no record of it. We had to call our bank to show proof that the ck had been sent and cashed by him. I would use them again for cleaning. There is a gentleman by the name of Clerance who is fantastic. Unfortunately, he was not put on the other jobs that were done for me. The rate of $20/hr is good however when they send 3 people out like I was told they did (I was not home) for my little attic to be cleaned, they charge $60/hr . and billed for 20 hours of work! In this case 3 people were not needed and actually think that could have been the problem ..as they say, "too many cooks spoil the pot" Dan is the head guy. Nice guy but every job he has done for me, he has told me that it was a much bigger job than they had expected after starting the job, when I have questioned the cost and why they charge me for more than the estimated cost. I personally like to know what I am going to be billed for a job going into it and why I had an estimate done! In this case, I had not budgeted for that additional $150 and will have to come up with it some how as they want to be paid with in the week of job completition. Dan said that he informed me of the price change but I got a v.mail after it was completed saying that it was completed and the job was alot more work but I would not be charged anything extra, and then when I talked to him in person via the phone, I was told he wanted me to pay the additional monies. Like I told him, it is best and more professional to put changes in writing so there is less likely to be any mis communication or discrepancies. I would use this company again for cleaning of my house if Clerance is the one working but most likely not for any other types of jobs..

Clarence and Justin showed up exactly on time, coming on an afternoon (July 5th) when a lot of businesses were closed for the holiday. They accomplished a lot and were fun to talk to. First, I asked them to spruce up my front porch and move deck furniture from my basement to the deck. Then they went inside my house to help me there. My house was a mess after a recent bathroom remodeling and from an attempt to redecorate my daughter's room. Both Clarence and Justin went right to work without me having to direct them at all. They knew what to do and had their own supplies. Seriously, they gave me my sanity back. I felt overwhelmed with catching up with cleaning because I expected company in the next couple of days and didn't know how I was going to get it all done. I definitely want to hire them again - maybe for painting or yard work.

The cleaners from The House Guy do a great job cleaning the house. They are really detail oriented. They do a great job. The level of their work is outstanding. They are very responsive to changes in times and dates. I am very happy overall with what they do for me. I think their prices are very reasonable.

It went very well! They were very thorough and did a good job. We have used them several times for housecleaning and they have also washed our windows.

Given the demand for yard cleanup after that storm, we were amazed they were able to come out so soon. They worked quickly and were very thorough. Their rates are very reasonable and they do not waste time.

The workers were extremely professional and prompt. They listened to what I wanted them to do and completed the work in a timely manner. They were very friendly and polite. They even did a couple of things we had not discussed in the initial walk through for the price estimate (at no extra charge!).

Excellent. I have hired them several times and have been very pleased with their work, price, efficiency and overall professionalism every time.

I've hired him for a number of things over the last 6 months and have found him to be reasonable in price and meticulous. Just great.

Joe is a good guy. He seems fair and trustworthy. We have been happy with every project he has done for us. We will definitely continue to work with him in the future.
