The Appliance Loft had the most competitive price of anyone in town on this particular model dishwasher. Sales staff were knowledgeable and courteous. But, there was a considerable delay in getting the dishwasher into the warehouse, and then delivered to my home. It took over five weeks. During this time, I got no calls initiated by the Appliance Loft, and phoned them on a weekly basis. I was usually told they would check on the status and get back to me, but they would not get back to me. They were polite when I did speak to them, though, and I did ultimately have the item delivered and installed. The installation contractor was good.

AT THE BEGINNING, THEIR PROFESSIONALISM, RESPONSIVENESS, KNOWLEDGE, AND WILLINGNESS TO MAKE A DEAL WERE VERY GOOD. AFTER THE PURCHASE WAS MADE, THEY MAINTAINED THESE QUALITIES AND PERFORMED THE INSTALLATION RATHER CLOSE TO THE PROMISED TIME FRAME. AFTER A PROBLEM OCCURRED, HOWEVER, IN WHICH IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT OUR BASEBOARD AND WALL HAD BEEN DAMAGED DUE TO A WATER LEAK STEMMING FROM A POOR INSTALLATION, THE OWNER'S PROFESSIONALISM AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SIGNIFICANTLY DECLINED. THE OWNER AVOIDED RESPONSIBILITY, VACILLATED ON HIS WORD, AND BASICALLY CLAIMED THAT HIS BUSINESS IS TOO SMALL TO AFFORD THE DAMAGE CHARGES OF APPROXIMATELY $400. SEVERAL ATTEMPTS, BOTH VERBAL AND WRITTEN, WERE MADE TO RECONCILE THIS DISAGREEMENT, BUT IN THE END, THE OWNER HANDLED THE SITUATION BY HANGING UP ON ME. THE REASON FOR MY OVERALL LOW SCORE IS DUE TO THEIR UNPROFESSIONAL AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE END. I WOULD NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM IN THE FUTURE.
