It went very well. Steven was the electrician. He called to tell us he was running late because he was helping out at another job before us. I was pleased that he called to tell us he was running late and if that was okay. He also apologized but I told him no problem and I appreciated that he called to tell us. Once he was here, he was very knowledgeable and worked quickly to accomplish all of the assigned tasks. Stephen was very personable and really know his stuff! I would highly recommend Craftsman Electric. We have some additional things now we will be doing in the near future that will require an electrician and we will call the company and ask to please send Stephen.

The next day my mother had to pay another plumber to have the handle replaced and the toilet is no longer running, so actually it was a waste of time and money bring in the first plumber.

PROS
Really appreciated that Phil walked me through the project and gave a good estimate of effort / cost and some tips with scheduling "ask for me if you want since I know the plan", "book first thing in the morning so that you get the project done in one day for sure". The day of service was a late snow, and Phil called to let us know he wouldn't be coming, which we was nice.
CONS
This wasn't emergency service, but was a bit miffed we were rescheduled for ~1.5w later. My partner who was home during the project reported that Phil was short on the verge of rude and seemed just generally in a bad mood. Where Phil did the work seems to have been quality (the drainpipe replacement was NOT an easy workspace, the hot water replumbed cleanly), but there were signs that he had to rush it a bit -- didn't cap off the old pipe and didn't remove the old fixture in the bathroom! thanks to his helpful walkthrough I was able to handle but as he didn't cap off the end I did end up with a quart of ages old water all over my cellar floor. Seems like for $600 he could have spent another 10m to finish these off.

"After reviewing the invoice the customer wasn't charged for the 2nd man. The customer was only charged our normal hourly rate of $120 per hour. We received the call on 3/26 at 3:26 pm when the last job we schedule is at 3:30. The customer was told that we wouldn't have anyone available that day and we would be out on the following day 3/27. The job was dispatched at 12:46 pm and the customer wasn't charged for the return visit. In the interest of fairness we will just take the customers word and reduce the charges to 2 hours. We are sending a refund check for $120 dollars."

"This was 10 months ago. We are assuming that the complaint is about the owner's dishwasher that we installed. A new floor had been installed by others. The new dishwasher had to have the legs removed in order to fit the space. The dishwasher had a plastic kick plate which the owner's wife had stated that they would cut and install. We returned the next day and cut and installed the kick plate at no charge. We are assuming that we would have heard something else during this time if there were still an issue--perhaps it's easier to just give a bad review?"

He could not remove the faucet and scratch up the fixture because he used his wretch without a rag which after I notice he needed a rag I got him one. After he said he couldn't fix this and I still had another 45 minutes coming to me since I paid for this upfront I showed him my bathroom faucet which I wanted him to replace but he only had chrome fixtures on his truck and everything in my bathroom is gold so that didn't work. Basically,I paid for this great deal that you advertised and got nothing!

"The original request for service was for the faucet leak-AND a request for an estimate to replace the lavatory and tub faucets. I informed the owner that we would not have brass or brushed nickel faucets on the truck before we ever went to the job. The kitchen faucet could not be fixed-we advised the owner to try to obtain parts from the mfg. (to save her money). We will refund $60.00 to the owner (which is the amount that she paid)--but for the record she received a quote to replace the faucets and an attempt to repair the kitchen faucet for $60.00 (which is being returned to her)."

I called them and they came out two days later. So far, everything is good. It has only been two days. I have not had any leaks and the garbage disposal works fine. The worker was good and professional. Before he used any more pipes or products, he ran each additional cost by me for approval. It looks good.

Scheduling was easy. They were on time, neat, and did a good job. The plumbing was so old that they had to cut into the wall and do some tile work. The initial quote didn’t include the extra work for tile and the showerhead installation so I couldn’t budget accurately. There was also miscommunication between the tile worker and the plumbers about whether or not the job was done.

It was terrible, they refunded everything I paid them. Their plumber tried to first sell me a garbage disposal then the used an auger to try and clean it out but the capper was leaving after telling me they would have to cut thru the wall.
My sister who lives in Dayton, Oh, had her plumber come down an had it unclogged in 1 1/2 hours with my wife's hair dryer.
To say I was disappointed is an understatement especially for an "A" rated company.

"We believe that the drain may have been frozen. We attempted to unstop it through conventional means. Though the owner said it was terrible-he seemed happy and to understand when he received a full refund. THE OWNER PAID NOTHING AND RECEIVED A 100% FULL REFUND."

I had frozen pipes on the 20th of February and I did everything to thaw them out (small heaters , turned the heat up) and
nothing worked. I called Tarvin they were able to squeeze me in during their afterhours house calls. Although it was $200 for the afterhours house call they got the pipes thawed in no time flat. Great service and they fixed the issue quickly.

The service was fine and he was professional, however it cost 6 times what I thought it would be. I purchased a $60.00 deal and I had the faucet all ready to go. It hadn't been opened and just needed to be installed. There ended up being a piece missing and we had to get a different faucet with 2 hours of installation. They had a whole new faucet but didn't have a replacement part which seemed interesting. I called to complain and they were very defensive. I feel a little taken advantage of.

"The owner provided faucet was missing parts-the faucet was not a brand that we sell. The owner decided to buy a faucet from our truck. The installation cost was within the price range that we would quote. The storefront coupon only covers a portion of the job and would not have covered the installation of the owner's faucet either. When the owner called to complain she was rude and offensive-had we been able to talk without being interrupted or talked over we may have been able to come to some resolution. The owner hung up on our office manager. We are not really sure what to do when we cannot have a civil discussion."

Very prompt and professional. He quickly assessed our toilet issue and cleared a clog deep in the line (a toothbrush was causing the problem!). Then he checked a slow drain in one of our showers and recommended we have him use an auger to clear that, which was totally reasonable and effective. Our 1963 house has a lot of old plumbing and two tubs are leaking from the overflow, so we had him give us estimates on how much those will cost to fix at some point. He gave us a good range of prices on that work without any pressure or upselling. I never got a scammy vibe from him, which is always appreciated. He was knowledgeable, professional and very nice.
